I added Diode Dynamics driving and fogs to my Road Armor bumper. Wired the driving lights with a relay to come on when high beams are on. Crazy amount of light. I gotta quit being lazy and get my reverse lights put in my bumper. I bet these AEV lights are even brighter in person! Camera usually doesn’t do justice to lights.
Hopefully AEV thought also thought of including new ring and pinion gears to compensate for those 40’s. Because if that truck is still running factory 3.73’s that transmission is gonna be screaming
It is a very nice looking truck, but I don’t really see where the price tag would should be 130 K. Unless I’m missing something all I see is wheels tires are very good lift kit, fender, flares front and rear bumpers a winch and lights. am I missing something? How does that justify an extra 50 K over a standard truck that might cost 75 to 80 K? Believe me, I’d love to have one, but at this age I’d base it off big horn or lone star. But still whatever that package cost from AVE I still don’t get the cost. It’s kind of like the Rocky Ridge package which adds 30 K to your average pick up yet. You can find those all day long now with the 30 K taken off as a discount and you basically buy the truck for MSRP. Beautiful truck.Though
It's a lot of labor cutting the fenders and installing the Highmark fender flares and other parts. The Prospector XL packages start at $23,000 and go up from there depending on the options like the four lights. You definitely can save money doing it yourself, but not as many people have the skills or the confidence to do this to a brand-new truck.
@@aevnate4140 it's called buying a used truck, a beater with a rebuilt 4x4, a cooler full of Ginger beer in the back and a glove compartment full of marked down to clearance cassette tapes from the gas station
Different use cases. Can’t carry a ton of gear and sustainment items with you on a dirt bike. Can’t tow things. Can’t carry passengers. You can put your KTM in the bed of this though and take both the truck and the bike farther than most.
That's a beast of a truck! Damn!

That's some impressive lighting.
Sedan drivers will stand no chance against them!

It’s cool that it comes this way from the factory and it’s all covered under warranty, but yeah you could do this WAY cheaper yourself.
Totally agree

awesome looking truck!
Aev's lighting output is no joke, tho I'm not a big fan of 6000k
Forget about driving a 130k vehicle to get away from it all, simply buy a woodland cabin and 20 or 30 acres. There ya go!
You need this truck to get to the woodland cabin in the woods! 😉

Let's not forget it's all plastic for $130,000 dollars.
Exactly this ram has a plastic engine, plastic axles, plastic frame and plastic wheels 😅
My10K KTM dirt bike will go places much further than this over priced crap JB.
@@fattie2550 10k for a dirt bike! I must be getting old☹️
@@supporterofsanity they are 13K now but they had a 3K rebate
