God, how can someone unlike this?
wish to visit this country someday ... love it ♥
Beautiful playing
I've been looking for a recording of this reel for ages, it's all I hoped it would be and more
second tune is Consindine's Grove, very similar to Paddy Cronin's as played by Kevin Burke but with an extra part.
Anyone have all the names of the other musicians?
On flute is Desmond Desy Adams.
The third reel is the Scartaglen aka Tom Billy's Reel. (but aren't they all?)
A great Kerry reel, indeed.
so cute meabh :)
Cé hí an bhean? 💕
Second tune known better as Gneevgullia ?
Does anyone have an idea where, and how I could get the chords for the guitar? I presume it's a dadgad tune? I would realy like to learn these tunes
The last tune is actually "The Scartaglen", which is usually played after "The Banks of the Ilen". No surprise that the titles get confused, then!
what's the second tune?
is that an Eb flute?? cause i swear its a semitone higher than when i tried to play along with it
I know it's super helpful for me to be replying to this after 6 years, but yeah, they're up in Eb.
what key is the last tune in?
drop D and 1-st fret Capo for guitar
I should have said the third tune is the Scartaglen.
That's one small D flute, I'd say. Also, look at where the guitar player has his capo...
They are playing in Eb
who is on flute?
Desmond ( Desy) Adams
every attempt made to make it as indecipherable as possible. tis the new way
Yer oul bollocks. Have a listen to recordings of the old Fleadhs - if anything they played faster in the 60s and 70s.
