At Jday Offroad, electric bikes lined up with gas bikes need to keep their throttle hand palm on their helmet until the flag drops. Not uncommon for us to have holeshot awards so we needed to even it up
@@andrewacton5885 fair? Not quite. Seems more like gas bikes got beat based off the original rules so you altered them to work in the gas bikes favor. That's bullshit
@@andrewacton5885 I kinda changed my view on this. An open class shouldn't have any restrictions. Maybe like a CC class or something can have a handicap rule, but open is open. There's a mix of e-start and kick already, but the e-start people don't have a handicap rule so neither should electric.
Its not my bike I've just been following him for a while. Ya he's got wheels tired prob footings bars different stuff for the cockpit. But power wise which is what I assumed the question was referring to its stock just upgraded battery for more range.
Dead engine hole shots is the one area where it's a bit of an unfair advantage since the engine is "live". A club by me makes the ⚡ riders start with a hand on their visor to close the gap a bit and I'm not opposed to it. Edit: Changed my mind. Open class should stay open. "One hand behind the back" type rules are lame.
A great video 😊 Can you report the battery percentage remaining? Cheers.
I am getting the Arctic Leopard dealership in Cambridge IL if you want to come check one out. I should have 2 EXE880's in a couple weeks.
Didnt your bike blow a fuze or something

Nothing like changing the rules cuz you're losing
@@MotoAlias I can assure you we have deep experience in producing a fair rule book

The fence would've been an issue.
Your ultra bee is fully modded.?
Just battery for more range
@@MotoAliasand rims and tires? How much more range are you getting? 30 miles+m
@@MotoAlias Thx for answering. Thinking on a motor and controller? like torp or ko? More than double power!

Why don't you use your horn instead of screaming at folks?

6.22.24 Then the gas guys should get an electric bike. I suppose the kick start only guys complain about the electric start bikes also.
So they changed the rules because they were losing. That's a pretty shitty thing to do
Geesh the guy riding bicycle on trail in a race day!!!!
@@chucktrotter9699 You do have a point there. In a competitive open class, it should really be open with no penalizing for whatever bike you're on.
