Testing it with two bars would’ve been the best test. People get these because they don’t have good signal not because they do!
This is exactly what I was thinking. Why would you use it in an area with a great signal? Defeats the purpose of a booster/hotspot.
@Felix Barriga I've had the 7730L for over 2 years now. I have went through a couple batteries, but it keeps going..........
@@gggrichard1 I run mine on 2-3 bars all the time(7730L) and get respectable downloads(12 to 14). I can only imagine this will be even better since it has more available channels to pull from than mine.

I have the 2011 grandfathered Verizon data plan. Will this work with the older plans?

Mifi screen is not responsive and it froze up and i have problem turning the power on/start. Hope your Mifi not froze up.

What good is it if it doesn't work? Mine did the same thing...no internet access. Been on the phone all day with Verizon. One guy laughed at me and said, "Good luck getting your money back!" I tried two different Sims cards and Verizon continued to say it was a Sims card error. Junk! Mailing back!
I hate that for bruh... I use mine everyday. Especially when I'm gone with the army. I haven't had not one problem out of it.

Except they throttle after 10gb even with the $70 "Unlimited" prepaid plan. It's a scam. $255 for the device but after 14 days, if it malfunctions, you just have a $255 paper weight. The only customer service option over the phone is to add more money, no trouble shooting. Max speeds were 60 mb down with five bars and I live in Dallas. DO NOT waste your money.
Within the first two hours Verizon was laughing at me and saying good luck trying to get your money back. I asked them to disconnect my service and they refused!!!
Verizon exchanged mine and now the new one works great. They said the jetpack is under warranty for one year .

Serg lo it's because your WiFi is monitored by the school, I recommend not to connect it to your phone the school will see everything your doing on your phone.

I have the older MiFi 7730L. The fastest download speed I was able to get was 135 Mbps.

I have done 600 Mbps DL test on it. It can go higher than 1G with good signal

Not much to say -- I've been using it for over a years without issues... Battery life is very good, and it's reliable!

Any Verizon store, along with a data plan.
I got this today and it is trash. It don't work without a battery. The old model I could remove the battery and it would work. If you don't know your stuff this works on a battery which limits its speed. This model is slower than the previous Jepack model. I want to remove the battery and plug it in the wall to use so battery does not overheat. This is trash.

Obviously you are a Verizon later because you put this thing down from the time you open the box even putting down the USBC although it looks like a regular USB micro USB chord. I've used the same Verizon chords on some of my phones for over four years and have never had one stop on me yes including all Verizon branded car chargers never had a problem.

After several days of dealing with Verizon "Tech" over the phone, I took it to my local store. They found my Mifi to be non-functional. They replaced it and I am happy to report, I am now up and running FINALLY!
