I've been solving a problem with recording from Akai MPC One to Logic on iMac for some time. I'll try to describe it as best as I can, I hope it will be easy to understand. I have audio tracks recorded in MPC One and I want to record them to Logic, I have it set as midi master, MPC as a slave, connected by a classic midi cable. When I start Logic, playback starts on the MPC and Logic starts recording, unfortunately, for some unknown reason, another sound starts to be mixed into the signal, I would describe it a bit as if certain tones are doubled. When I record without midi synchronization is fine, when I try to record a sequence from the synthesizer via midi sync, everything is also fine, the problem persists when playing and recording audio tracks from the MPC with midi sync turned on
I’m new to all of this. Right now I’m trying to sort out the workflow of my analog gear, effects pedals, MPC and Logic. I crave the spontaneity of the tactile experience but I’d like to capture it too. I like the MPC for its portability and capabilities but I don’t think it where I want to finish my projects.
Same here . It’s a song writing tool . All finished projects go to your daw of choice . A multi channel interface is what u will need to get in Logic fast and direct . The scarlet 1820 is what I use and it’s a great interface for the price .
I’m trying to learn how to hook up my MPC renaissance to logic Pro so I can plug the mic into the back of a MPC and record vocals onto a beat in logic. Please help
@@longlostrobots8146 The MPC has a phantom button in the back, so I wanted to plug in the studio, mike in the Mpc put i a instrumental in logic, and record vocals over the beat in logic
I try to approach every song differently. So I don’t use to many presets . I have been singing and recording my self for over twenty years so that might give me an edge . I also use softube plugins almost exclusively because of the quality. Thanks for the kind words take care

You shouldn’t need logic to record into an MPC .

What’s your vocal presets your not even close to the mic and it sound amazing
