@@kilobravo3533 two reasons; 1) I reviewed it already as part of the 2019 DalekCember marathon. 2) Bad housekeeping on my part. I haven't updated the playlist. Sorry! Will ammend.
I hadn’t heard Jacob’s 9 until this video but if I hadn’t been told it was him I would genuinely think that was Chris. Jacob is some kind of Wizard with voices. It can’t be natural 😄
Really happy you brought up Jake Dudman's great Ninth Doctor performance. He's best known for his Matt Smith impression but I think his Eccleston is on the same level. When you played that clip I forgot how well he captures the accent and tone.
Odd but nice way to start off the video, William's wife doesn't like DW 'All opinions are respected' but nice enough to get him a 9th Doctor audio story on his birthday, Neat.
11:52 You had me confused for a second there, when Danny Horn was covered up, I thought it was for the same reason as G****h R*****s and I thought “Wait, what did Danny Horn do?”
Okay but when are we getting Winston Winter Trilbee? Personal favourite Winston story is Nativity 2 ddanger in the manger, in which ten once again chameleon arches himself into a teacher, and, with a covert Winston keeping an eye on him, has to deal with his alternate self, who goes full time lord victorious by becoming a choir master!!! Very interesting, don’t rate the sequel episode with Donna getting married again much though
Tbh I love night of the whisper. It's got such great themes and sequences and it's able to tie everything together so well with a message about justice. Definitely my favourite story from the destiny of the doctor box set
Oh, nice, I loved Retail Therapy. Really great to hear it given the attention it deserves. I remember enjoying the whole of the Ninth Doctor Chronicles, but that was the only story that actually stuck with me. Though I did recall the bit in The Other Side where The Doctor waits for decades to catch up to Rose. It's quite a contrast with how Eleven acts in The Power of Three, isn't it?
If you buy Big Finish CDs directly from the website then it will automatically come with a download version on your account. As far as I'm aware I don't think any of them come with download codes in the insert or anything like that
Next time, he's coming back. He'll always be there to hold your hand, to help you through the darkest of day's but more importantly he will always be there to save you. Next time the doctor returns.
I really hope Eccleston returns for the 60th anniversary special. For that episode to be a real celebration of Nu-Who, with all of the revival Doctors (and Paul McGann). As for the Writer though...???
Retail Therapy sounds not dissimilar to the Fifth Doctor story Cuddlesome which came free with Doctor Who Magazine well over ten years ago, although that may just be me. Now, I realise I'm going to put myself in the firing line here, but I find it odd that you're more than happy to acknowledge Bruno Langley's existence despite his sexual assault charge when, in your previous video, you refused to acknowledge Gareth Roberts because of his socio-political beliefs. I'm not here to finger-wag but I'd have thought the former was a far more severe crime worthy of cancellation, for want of a better term, than someone speaking in ignorance. I'm not suggesting you're actually asserting that sexual assault is less serious than casual transphobia, but it does feel inconsistent. As I say, I'm not here to cause a fight, it's a bit of friendly advice regarding tonal emphasis, that's all.
This is my personal takeaway on the whole thing. Bruno Langley and Noel Clarke's professional careers are effectively over (and John Barrowman will likely never work with Doctor Who in any official capacity for a long time, if ever), the damage is done and a degree of justice has been served (mainly in the case of Langley). Terry Everett Robert the Fifth is still very active and to my knowledge has yet to apologise for or even acknowledge his harmful views - censoring his name is a way of taking away the platform he uses to this day, and saying that he is no longer welcome. If MrTardis replies, then take that reply into account over this one of course, I'm just offering my own conclusions.
I hope you enjoyed this video! Part 2 next week! Be sure to "like" this video and leave a comment below to appease the almighty algorithm!
Was looking at the trip of a lifetime playlist so I can binge watch them all and noticed that there isn't a bad wolf review why is that.
I did get a little excited at the new Cyberman design. Finally veering away from the all metal, Nu-Who "stormtrooper" design.

@@MrTARDIS thanks and np I thought u might have already reviewed it previously during that.
Briggleston is the only canonical Ninth Doctor, I don't make the rules.
They didn't do a sequel to Real Time, but they did a second boxset of The Churchill Years? Odd that.

27:10 that "AHDUMB MITCHEL" Had me in stitches. Such funny editing 😂
Amazing work as always. You've been doing our Doctor proud!
Kazran honestly makes an interesting short-term companion for 11. Really liked his story in the 11th Doctor Chronicles.
Pete walsh does an absolutely excellent 9 impression

Jacob Dudman is actually amazing. I generally thought it was Chris at first .
Been looking forward to this, loved that opening. As someone who watches the Livestream I knew what was coming but still.
hEy, WhAt'S gOiNg On RoUnD hErE? Oh it Nick Briggleston, very nice.
Loved the intro!

That multiverse story with Churchill sounds like something that would fit in the show Sliders.
Thank you for this timeline, it's very hard to find release orders that don't seem convoluted.
check out pete walsh as the voice of the ninth doctor they are fantastic
So many of the stories you reccommend most have the very goofy voices for Nine. I'd have to try getting over that!
"Northern" doesn't seem to come easily within Briggs' range lol
WAIT- was the Trip of a Lifetime trailer showing footage of the 9th Doctor blowing up the Autons?
Cavan likes his journalists as key characters, he did the same for Star Wars: The Rising Storm recently
Have you heard Pete Walsh's impression of Christopher Eccleston and what do you think of it?
I loved it so much I paid him to cameo in my DalekCember videos in 2019 (when talking about Dalek Cameos).
@@MrTARDIS you should talk about the fan audio dramas featuring the ninth doctor and how get him to cameo in dalekcember
You don't get a download code. The digital version automatically is added to your account when you purchase a physical copy 😀
I thought the surprise character might have been a young Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart.
Are you planning on doing an interview with Christopher Eccleston?
I wish!
I've met him before and worked with him, but I don't have the means to organize one with him. And he likely would turn it down.
@@MrTARDIS that's true but who knows
"I've learned to forgive her" lmao
2:49 Well ain't that a Kick in the head?
I wish I could get behind the story structure/style for the Chronicles but my autistic brain can't handle it.

my guess for the Churchill bit is... either Bruce Willis or young Margaret Thatcher
hmm I was not even close
27:06 Best joke of the series
I’m guessing that the other character in The Bronze God is Kamelion
You know what I was pretty close all things considered!
Kamelion does show up in Masterful, weirdly enough. It was a surprising addition.
My guess was Cleopatra or an American president
Gah. Those early Chris impressions sound more like a clownish Paul McCartney than the real thing
👍❤️
