Thats interesting, I want to see more of G1 Elita- One's squad to be fleshed out. Edit: I know this sounds random but I want Nightbird to be Megatron's love interest in one TF media. I just think its cute to see that Megatron has a soft spot for somebots.
Prime Air-achnid is a Holy Grail villain. She gave Arcee PTSD after torturing and killing Arcee's partner in front of her. She went on to be a free agent and left Cybertron to trophy hunt sentient species (some to extinction) across the galaxy. Arachnid managed to murder Breakdown and leave his dismembered body for Dreadwing to find. Finally when she was about to be killed by Arcee, she looked her in the eyes and said "When you snuff out my spark, make it hurt!" So Antagony tortured out of detached interest, Air-achnid was unapologetically wicked.
Airachnid is just a regular "im evil, know it and love it" female villain with no growth, meant to be a generic rival for the heroine. TFA Blackarachnia is way better in terms of writing, characterisation and implementation
Within my personal canon, Megaempress is just Flamewar running around in a Magnus Armor-style mech suit (inspired by her running around in a Megatron costume in one of her debut stories).
No Professor Princess? I mean, personally I’d rank her dead last because I find her annoying as hell, but I definitely consider her more prominent and memorable (if only for entirely the wrong reasons) than a number of the others that made the list
@@Jetthehawk1994true, but if BW Blackarachnia is included that means that a redemption arc doesn’t eliminate a character from contention (though it would probably knock her down the list a bit, as it did for Blackarachnia)
I think Circuit Breaker could work if she was something of an anti-villain that you can sympathize with. You don't root for her, but you understand her. Hell, give her some heroic moments live saving people's lives.
The funny thing about MegaEmpress is that she's oddly enough, very much similar to Tarn in personality. That said, I'm not totally sure she'd go all 'death to the traitor' if Megatron was to switch sides, as unlike other power-hungry females of the Decepticons, her infatuation is solely on Megatron rather than the cause. The idea of a Decepticon who is both as strong as Megatron and has the ability to hack her opponents (because that's essentially what the charm thing is) is kinda scary. The fact that one of Megatronia's combiner limbs was, in UW continuity, a spy (serving Shockwave) who fell in with MegaEmpress suggests that maybe the charm isn't only on male coded transformers, but anyone she feels, so long as they are machine. If we took out some of the more egregious Japanese-isms, and maybe took out the idea of her being made entirely of Megatron's spare parts (because that also implies that really, her infatuation isn't her own choice), she'd be a very interesting addition to any continuity. I think a good start would be that she started off in the lower ranks, took a chance to upgrade when it came (possibly via Swindle?), only for her to get caught by Shockwave. We then have the rest of it (again, with some slight changes) play out as normal. Maybe her name could do with a change too though (because not only does it not fit the card theme of the rest of her team, but it also sounds... kinda clunky).
Most obnoxious thing about Circuitbreaker is her "I hate all machines" mentality and status as a villain translates out to just being "I will attack the Autobots and nobody else", making any interesting ambiguity of the character puff away in an instant.
I'd argue Thunderblast is TWO notes, but the second note is more "the animators who rendered her model need to take a cold shower and be given time off to see their wives" than is an actually GOOD note
Where would you have ranked Croft, Izzy, or the Quintesson Judge from Earthspark on this list? Something I noticed from this list is that many of the female villains from TF have significant redeeming qualities to them. I mean, not all of them, but many of them, and it stands out to me because there are so many fewer female villains than male ones in the franchise. But Croft and the Judge from Earthspark really don't have any and brought their really brutal deaths upon themselves, so I'm curious what you think.
I still think Mega Empress and Megatronia have swapped names Megatronia is a feminised Megatron but is the combiner Mega Empress sounds like the typical Decepticon combiner name but is the Megatron lookalike
I feel like your bias against the Bey movies really clouded the Quintessa judgment.. Quintessa wanted to kill Unicron by consuming the earth to restore Cybertron. (Destroying Unicron in the process) And as for her design, she is very similar in concept to Quintus Prime. (She sports the classic tentacles, and claims to be a creator figure) Only as a female version in a antagonistic role.
There are actually a lot of female villains that didn't even make it onto the list as well as ones that are on the list that I disagree with. BW Blackarachnia: I think giving her a redemption arc rather than she's just evil does make her more interesting as a character so even though she doesn't stay a villain. Holy Grail. BM Strika: Honestly I would rank her lower just because of the design. It doesn't really look female. You can do a bulky design and still make it Feminine. Strongarm, Cyberwarp, Clobber, and Hashtag all do this really well. Even Earthrise Elita-One is a much more bulky design that are still clearly female. Strika was their first attempt to do something like this and she looks like a male body builder. There are female body builders as well and they still manage to appear feminine even when they bulk out. So I'd rank her Flea Market just cause I wouldn't even know she was female if it weren't for the voice actress doing such a good job a carrying all the weight of portraying that character's gender with just her voice and while still making it fit a masculine design. Animated Strika: They gave her lip stick to try to make the design more feminine which is just weird on a character who doesn't have lips. Still hate it. Cyberverse Aplha Strike: Finally they manage to change the design in a way that actually looks female while still keeping that bulk and she has the wrong name. Retail Release. Thunderblast: I like her in concept. She's basically to Megatron what Harley Quinn is to the Joker. She's also by design a Decepticon counterpart to Elita-One so both leaders can have their own girlfriend. In execution however, the hearts in her eyes and blind loyalty do kind of make it so she has nothing else really going on. If she's the Harley to Megatron's Joker then Thunderblast really needed a Poison Ivy and an interesting back story to make her more fleshed out as a character. Retail release. Animated Blackarachina: She kind of just disappears after Predacon's Rising along with Waspinator never to be seen again. I feel like she should have had a redemption arc and turned back to an Autobot. There were so many interesting places they could have taken her that just never happened and for that Flea Market. Also we never got a toy with a retooled head after we found out her helmet was removable in the show. Slipstream: All the Slipstreams are kind of the same personality wise. They only really change her from being an unexplained female clone of Starscream to just being another Seeker and I don't think she's ever had a good toy cause they always just repaint a male seeker mold or a Windblade which is not what that character is. Make an original female seeker mold. Retail Release. All the other Female Seekers, Flea Market. I don't think any of them have really stood out as their own characters and just feel like copies of Slipstream with different paint jobs. Shatter: Bargain Bin. She has the same Bayverse style asthetic to her design that I'm just sick of seeing and honestly her and Dropkick are basically the same character in 2 bodies. She doesn't even stand out as a unique character against her male counterpart despite having more lines than he does. That's a major problem with those overly complex designs is they just don't stand out. Make her more of a unique character with a better design an I'll rank her higher but as she is, it's just another pile of shrap metal that I hate looking at. Prime Airachnid: Never understood why she wasn't called Blackarchnia. She never stood out to me as her own character just a different take on an existing one. Flea Market. ONE Airachnid: This one actually stands out as her own unique character to me. The only connection to Blackarchnia left at this point is Spider. She isn't a fem fetal like all the other female Spiders were. She isn't trying to use attraction to manipulate the male characters around her she's just creepy and intimidating. Holy Grail. RID2001 Filtch: Had potential to be one of my favorite Decepticons in the series because I love the design but they made her mentally disabled so she isn't even a real villain it makes the Autobots look evil when they're pursuing her for essentially no reason. I'm including her because she is a Decepticon but she shouldn't be. RID2001 Cyberwarp: Holy Grail spoilers watch the last 2 episodes of the show at least please! She's a great character I promise! Cyberverse Shadow Striker: Holy Grail give me a good toy of her damn it!
Also because you're including human villains in the list. Professor Princess Bargain Bin. Slo-Mo Premium Price I wish we had more episodes with that character. It could have been fun seeing her go up against Blurr cause making Blurr slow down would be so interesting to actually give him some character development and would be such a great use of her powers. Animated villains are mostly not a threat at all but she really could have been. Also... Cyberverse Clobber: I was kind of expecting to hate this character because it looked like Animated Lugnut turned female and I hate that but despite the similar design she actually stands out as her own unique character. I could imagine a where where both Lugnut and Clobber can co-exist as twins and that actually makes me like her more and put her into the Holy Grail category. The other sort of gender swapped characters from Cyberverse and Earthspark I'd put in retail release behind Slipstream some where cause they are just kind of generic seekers to me, they aren't really characters so I don't really care. Earthspark Skywarp: The one character I do care about, why take a well known name and gender swap that? Skywarp is my favorite seeker. And to make it even weirder Thundercracker they couldn't gender swap but they let Skywarp happen? The only thing I like about that character is it's the first time since G1 we actually see a Skywarp actually using their warping capabilities. That part is cool and one of the reasons I like that character cause it makes him stand out among the other seekers. But beyond that I just feel like they should have put Slipstream in that role rather than making Skywarp female. Oh and I don't really mind Frenzy being female cause it honestly would help make Frenzy stand out as a unique character from Rumble as long as they don't make both of them female. I'm actually kind of enjoying Earthspark Frenzy with her punk rocker personality. Premium Price.
Yes, I said Fracture instead of Shatter, I was thinking too quick for my own good.
You forgot about filch and zizza from rid 2015, skold from idw beast wars 2021, flamewar and several others.
@@АрсенийВасильев-и8ъ I didn't forget about them, I didn't want this to be a 50 minute video.

Breakdown's death was bizarre, they took her off the ship to kill her in a forest instead of just executing her on the ship.
nah, thats just... bog standard, generic edgy villain writing. she wasnt interesting at all.
