Your space is beautiful! I agree that some of the best memories are sensations, smells and sights rather than events...a baby's smile, a heart warming conversation, a beautiful smell wafting by, a sunlit scene, shafts of light falling on a cosy couch...the list is endless...
Really nice to see how you accept simple living as a way of life. It is definitely okay to be cozy at home. Going into stores nowadays is way too stressful.
I m blessed coming from a tropical country with 2 seasons only; summer and rainy. No winter blues here^^. But still eager to find a way to make a cozy living and still can find great tips from "hygge" style. Thanks for the info... got a new lesson today!
This is a wonderful vlog. I wish I would have found your channel years ago. I live in Chicago USA n we here have long ,cold ,winters n I discovered that same book and Hygge my home in the winter. We have nice hot summers to so I prefer Summer. I'll be tuning into your vids n I subbed. Take care.
So many great ideas :D I have a cat so i cant use candles, at least not so many, but the rest is totally doable and will try it for sure. Winter with snow isnt that bad for me, but when its like foggy, +2degrees with rain and wind... Every way to make this time less depressing is great :D
Loved watching this despite the fact that I'm in the southern hemisphere and heading into summer. I agree with the lights - they make such a difference. I have different ones strung around my courtyard to help the atmosphere in the evening - it just makes it feel so much better.
This video inspires me to make my home a bit more cozier this winter. I want to put up lights like you did. I just started watching your videos and i love watching them. Thanks for creating something that i can relate to. Please keep on making more videos!
Blinkist is like drugs for people who read books. It’s my new addiction as I had/have so many books scheduled for this upcoming month. A bit of a response to your previous response; what did you studied in Uni, the concept design clearly is Hygge but we done and highly articulated. I studied at the University for the Arts in Zurich for my second masters. Finished my dissertations and realizing that actually my family are just academics who work at the University. Currently in USA but channel is so European and thus Hygge. I am about to Blinkist that book. Incredible application of the concept. Bravo.
Thank you! 🙌🏼 I haven't gone to uni or college. One of those things that I want to talk about as I've felt "behind" in life because of that decision even though I believe it was the right choice for me. And yeah I agree that Blinkist can be such an addiction 😄 Just remember to implement the things you learn and not just learn "theory" all the time without any practical action 😉 Thank you for the comment, Gabriel!
@@SunnyKindJourney Hyggelig. I had later went to Blinkist and listened there. Your video mirrors the entire book. But you work as a translator? So vocational school?
@@SunnyKindJourney you are absolutely right 😄 it is wet and cold and windy. Finland visit must come next and I would love to see some of your recommendations, surroundings, cafes, restaurants :)
@@rebeccaalves4796 Luckily we have that for only a period here 😄 The North - Lapland is the place to be if you love this slower lifestyle and want to be connected to nature ❄ That's where I'm going for the holidays! Helsinki is pretty okay if you like modern cities but not as magical place as the nature we have 😏
@@SunnyKindJourney Lapland is a straight destination in my head when it comes to Finland. It must be truly magical to spend the holidays there! I just get cold too easily despite wearing the warmest yarns available 😄 I really debate what shall I ser first: Iceland or Finland? City wise I do not feel Hesinki is a must for me, I am usually focused on going to places where peope do not usually go for tourism or study ( Says a Brazilian person who applied to Masters in… Estonia?! 😃)
Hope you got some hygge inspiration 🤗

I never realized that I am hygge through and through until today. Thank you for the tips, especially the shelf lighting
Glad it was helpful! 😊

I agree! Especially during the Christmas time 😄
Yes! Cleaning is very hygge for me too.
Dude, doing hygge is my greatest luxury these days
That's fantastic! 🤩

Which one you prefer more, summer or rainy season? 🌱😊
@@SunnyKindJourney oh rainy season is best to make a cozy self at home!
Ohh so cozy! Love this atmosphere! I've adopted minimalisim too and I feel so much more relaxed. I will look into hygge and try to fit it in my life.🙏
Thank you for the nice comment! 😊 Sending you peace ❤️
Great video!! I’d love to see more Hygge content this winter!
Thank you! 😊

I live so fast, I watched this twice in 5 mins.
Hygge sounds like something that might help me slow down 😅
Haha yeah, one of those things to try at least once in life 😌
That was nice and cozy thanks :)

Wonderful!🎉🎉
Thank you! Cheers! 😊
Oww sooo cosy, I love it ! I am planning on adding plants as well , to add warmth to the minimalistic interior, and reading Becoming too 😊
Nice! You clearly notice small details 😉

So cosy❤
🙌🕯
Bellissima atmosfera ❤️
Grazie Giusi! 🥰
Very nice and cozy! Sorry for a stupid question: how do you fix this nice lighting on the bookshelf so it doesn’t fall down? 😊
I put a bit of some basic tape in 2 spots on the top 😉 works wonders
What a lovely young man.Does anyone know what country he is from and/or where he's living?
I live in Finland 😇😇
❤
I always come back to minimalism when I feel anxious or tense. Interesting, yes?
Love it 😊
Hi what phone you are using?
Samsung A50 I guess 😄 can't even remember
I hate winter blues.
Lovely guide for a Brazilian who struggles with the Windy gloomy Dutxh weather 🚲🤍
That's great! Hope you'll be able to now enjoy the Dutch winter ⭐ We at least get snow here in Finland but I heard there it's just dark all winter 😬

I mean, anything about getting as much local and daily life as possible in your view :)
