You can take that slice of turkey and put stuffing inside it and roll the turkey slice up then put gravy on top of it. That is what I thought were going to do for your main dish then bake it in the oven
The local Church pantry gives out groceries for a Thanksgiving dinner including a Turkey and bag of potatoes. Now I see how $25 is enough for one family. Excellent job Maria, excellent
I really appreciate this, not everyone can spend a lot of money on food for Thanksgiving.. This is definitely the definition of making a “dollar out of a meal”...
Since you were already buying the flour, I would have used that to make biscuits or rolls, and then you could have used those extra $ or 2 for more Turkey. But don't skip the extras like appetizers!
Genus pure genus..I remember one poor Thanksgiving in our first year of marriage we were so poor we bought a can of spam and called it our ham lol .ofcourse this was the days before dollar tree stores. I love your ideas for the Thanksgiving meals..those poor days are long gone but still money is tight and my husband has gone to heaven two years ago ..but your meal is pure genus for families on a tight budget..I am a new subscriber and will be watching your videos. Thankyou so much .
Welcome Mary! I’m so glad you are here 😊 I’m glad things have improved and I think food availability might be a little better too! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! More fun videos to come!
I don’t know how, but I recently started binge watching these Dollar Tree Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner videos. I love watching how creative everyone is and I’m super impressed with what you can get at the Dollar Tree in the states. We only have dry goods in Canada’s DT. Its so great that there are resources for anyone on a strict budget, or who might not have easy access to groceries. You have done a great job showing how with a little creativity, even the smallest budget can get you a blessed and happy family meal!
$20 amazing! Thank you so much! With the holidays around the corner and the times we are living in so many families will benefit from your genius! Please do a dollar tree Christmas 🎄 for us! Again many thanks!!
Wow, this was actually really impressive! All of those dishes, and only $20! I'd love to see you do this from a regular grocery store, too, that'd be really neat. Yea for the microphone!
This is so awesome! Now I know what to do for Thanksgiving when money is really tight! It is anyway, because my fiancee of 12 years and I decided to finally tie the knot! We're saving $6,000 for our wedding, and your budget meals give me so much inspiration!🙂❤
With my state currently on our second lockdown, three major grocery stores closed due to too many covid cases among employees, and food banks closed, this video has helped a lot! Thank you so much!! We weren’t able to “panic buy” so I’ll be heading to our local dollar trees to hopefully find everything you used to recreate this for our thanksgiving! Thank you again (:
You got this Mars!! And the Dollar Tree’s in my area are now carrying regular stove top stuffing, canned yams, and canned pumpkin! I hope you find those items to make things even better! ❤️🙏 Have a magical and bountiful Thanksgiving!
@@Cathy16011 you’re so sweet for checking in! It went better than I hoped! We found pretty much everything all within our budget! Bless you for thinking about us (:
For Christmas dinner it was just me and I used Maple flavored Turkey from the deli that I had purchased months ago from Walmart and at a reduced price. I kept it frozen until the holiday rolled around
This just popped for me and as I am england turkey is for christma, but as I am single this looks and sounds a wonderful meal with leftovers for boxing day(day after Christmas). Congratulations lovely meal!!
Great job. While I think a lot of items are cheaper at the traditional grocery store (.50 or .89 a can on sale for tinned veggies, gravy or boxed stuffing) showing that you can feed 2-3 (or 4 w/a few bucks more) is very cool. Love your little touches, awesome.❤
You did so great! I won’t lie, sometimes I make a homemade chicken gravy and put in leftover Turkey lunch meat. I call it chicken gravy (so the kids will eat it lol) and serve over mashed potatoes!
Why not use turkey gravy? You say that you call it chicken gravy so the kids will eat it, but if it is homemade chicken gravy what else would you call it?
I almost think you could do it at Walmart for cheaper, with cans of veggies being 80 something cents and stove top being a dollar or so! But great job! That stuffing looks amazing 🥰
Thank you for this. I have been in dire straits in years past when this would be all I could afford. I know that many will struggle this year to put food on the table everyday let alone a Thanksgiving feast. You show that with a little imagination it is possible. Bless you and your family.
The turkey on your head lol. Love how everyone is coming together a showing people how to do things. I just might do this since this year has been ROUGH as we all know.
I randomly found your videos. I have watched several. I super enjoy that your not constantly "making excuses" for what you may not have on hand. I find it vert interesting all your kitchen equipment is high end, yet your budgeting so hard. I have lived thru and survived 😉😁 kitchen remodels and know they can cost a fortune. ( I dearly love old houses) I looooove your personality and how you show it.... Not being so "on camera" life is real....and sometimes its real hard. I love what your doing. Love your vibe. Your family is beautiful. Stay true to your family and yourself. Its VERY obvious that your going places. Much love from South Ga ✌💜💜💜
That sausage looks great! I could eat that and a little of that gravy. Thank you! The corn you have left take some butter and fry it with red pepper. Yum!
I am so impressed i watched the Aldi dinner and this one ...here i am stressing over making a great meal for Thanksgiving i never would have had any idea Thank you so much . Have a very blessed holiday season ❤❤

I like both .l make one with the whole cranberries that come in a can with the Jelly I put cloves in it. brown sugar and orange juice oh my God and a touch of vanilla. you talkin about goodness ?😃
My goodness, you are brilliant.I thought I knew all the frugal tips.We have nine children and our monthly grocery budget is$300..and we always have a huge amount of food for holidays. One thing I do is buy a 3-4 pound boneless turkey breast for Thanksgiving at Aldi for $8.99.It is about how you slice it,we always have leftovers.I slice it down the middle then sideways. This year with everything going on our turkey day budget is $30.Can not wait to stretch my husband's hard earned dollars.I am subscribing to your channel.

Great video. Thank you for sharing this and helping to make the holiday special for those who may not be able to afford a regular thanksgiving. Great ideas!
Oh, I absolutely adore cranberry sauce the jellied one. In fact, I am the only one in my family that likes it. I’m glad to hear someone else out. There also likes it. That was a terrific spread. You have a really nice way of putting things together.
Thank you for this due to Covid me and my husband lost both our jobs in March he just started working again but we have been stressing on how we are doing holiday dinners the rest of the year and normal dinners thank you so much for this your awesome
