Gayle, you are such a good teacher!! This video covering the #10 foot was like choirs playing and angels singing! I just did the batting joining and it worked like a charm. I also used it to bind a quilt yesterday and this morning...what a difference a little knowledge can provide. I can't thank you enough for your devotion to education on the Bernina machines...I so appreciate you!
Thank you, Gayle! Your skills and ability to communicate in such a clear and concise way for someone as myself, who doesn't have knowledge of all of the different feet and skills, is so meaningful to be able to understand without confusion. You are the best.
I absolutely LOVED the lesson on using the #10 foot to sew on binding. It was exactly what I needed. As always, your videos are clear, interesting and helpful. Thank you so much!
Gayle , I learned so much this evening. WOW, I now understand what you mean when you say stitch in the ditch! We have reenergized me to start craft again. Thank you !❤
Hey Ms. Gayle--this is the bomb. Quick question, though: do you prefer to use the 10D foot over the walking foot and close 'eyeball scrutiny' for binding?? I do like the way the walking foot helps to 'feed' the fabric and quilted item. Thanks for this!!
@@connieprince9718 I hope common sense will prevail when using decorative stitching: that you cannot use a straight stitch needle plate. In the video I comment that you need the 5.5mm or 9mm needle plate on all of our exercises as they involve using multiple needle positions.

Thanks gain for including older Berninas. Love your videos.
Love this program. I learned how to add value to my 10 edge foot. First I’m going to use the joining batting method!
The #10 also works great for rope bowls. Just set the blade between two strands & zigzag away!
As always Gayle you are a wonderful teacher and demonstrator. Keep making these videos for us.
Would love to see a demo including binding mitered corners. Thank you for this video.

What stitch would you use on a 770QEE for the batting?
@@connieprince9718 the same stitch #12 I think. Just make sure that it looks like the one in the video.
@@BERNINAofNaperville it is but one must have the 10D and the right plate on and noted! 😁

@@BERNINAofNaperville your video was great and very thorough - I was just looking for the stitch on my machine and it was set up for piecing. My bad!
