We Indians like this film because its a new thing for us..its not the same for foreigners..they have watched many psycho killer movies like 7 and all...The concept of breaking the stable mind of a psycho is actually a clishe ...we liked it because of ratsasan's making... There's a channel named jimmy cage ,he gives honest review for movies..he gave only 6 for this movie out of ten..I personally like this movie..watched many times

Ratsasan one of the superb thriller movie
Villain is a magician who is so fast and expert in card tricks. Look at climax fight, we can find it so realistic. In this, hero tries to beat villain with everything that he gets in his hand. Because if villain get a single chance that is enough for him. so so classic movie. Love from neighbouring state (of Tamil Nadu), Kerala.

The guy dosent shoot the vilian in the first scene because he is a suspended police officer. Even an on-duty police officer is bound to not shoot criminals and hand them to the law, let alone a suspended one. That's why he tries to catch him alive but as situation unfolds he has to kill him

You must watch the movie fully first,and then review this scenario...just blindly watching the climax fight scene was **** stupid...if you see the only climax scene in infinity war while tanos coming to wakonda ...it will feel like a (mokaaa) climax ever in marvel... because we don't know the capacity of the villian...so I prefer you to watch the full movie and then review the scenes...

One of the best thriller inspired by a true story of a Russian serial killer and his mom who tortured and killed many young girls, in this movie that killer was bullied when he was a teen for having Werner's syndrome. Actually the subtitle is wrong, he wont call him as impotent, he will call him as baldy because he was bullied frequently in young age for being a bald.
And that kid is not his daughter, she is his girlfriends niece. And yes he is a magician.
Please do watch this movie ! its all about bullying and child sexual abuse with a psycho killer.

He is playing the role of inspector. He did not shot the villain because it's not easy to shoot any criminal in India due to strict human rights. That's why audience has no problem with the scene. It's not dumb scene he is just finding another way to overpower criminal. He was appointed new to this post. He had no experience to deal with the situation.

You said there was this dumb scene at the beginning where he doesn't shoot the psycho...this is because ,if this scene was in real life anyone who is trying to rescue their daughter from a psycho would focus on the rescue part,not killing the psycho part.Because saving your daughter is more important than killing him.Even though killing him might save the girl,yet no one who cares for the girl so much, wouldn't take a risk unless they are so sure that they could save her.
judging a movie by seeing just a small scene from the whole movie is easy and as you know it would be foolishness to misjudge without thinking anything sensibly.(just my opinion)
