Imo walker won. Idk either of these bands. But walker had more control over thier tone and power. Augustine decent but sloppy. Kinda like jackson olin sumtimes.
Da Aug is returning to their Pre Katrina stage ...classic sound!! Walker Has stepped up as far as sound quality(mellos with 2 part and bones playing all three evenly)....really balanced sound! Hats off to both Programs..!!
i was out there and both bands did a good job, Aug was loud and sounded good overall, Walker was very loud but it actually took away from them, Walker was trying to the chest out and if kind of backfired. The Aug is loaded though, too many songs, they did not even bring out the full arsenal. Rd 3 is NYX, and i will be there again. Good Job to BOTH bands, Making the band scene interesting again.
My take on this people in new orleans need to stop thinking volume wins a battle alone. Walker was loud n so was St. Aug. St. Aug honestly took the Win on this battle cuz of what Walker used to be: Clean and Very Loud. Plus Aug is loaded with alot of songs while Walker came to the battle with the same songs from last years battle. Just Got Paid is a Kennedy Classic and Honestly Walker shouldve left with Kennedy. Rd.3 is gonna be great but its clear that St. Aug is the band to beat this year

they have alreadt walker smash them boys baker sounded like shit type it on youtube it was at a parade they battled. they battles st. aug then turned around and battled baker them boys are phenominal they got a lil tired but they shitted on baker. it was a mardi gras parade. i will post it in a second.
