People (humans) don't think ahead. Sure robots with legs are cool and look like us. But can you imagine the SOUND that these make when walking by? That sound will BE SO UTTERLY IRRITATING that people will SWITCH THEM OFF. That while wheelchair have developed to a point where you can't hear them drive by.
No, they're leased (rented) not purchased, the manufacturer still owns them. That's the business model being proposed because purchase cost is far too high, especially if a firm needs ten thousand or hundred thousand robots and then in 5 years time they're obsolete because a new more advanced model was developed.
As yet, EngineAI SE01 humanoid robot is the most lifelike with it's movements and gait. All the rest walk like chimpanzees with bent knees or what I call a 'full-diaper' walk.
