Sounds great! Though nothing beats the original pre fender pre-amps that came stock. I own 3 early Kubickis now, once since 1986. Keep going back, even after owning Ken Smith, Alembic, Fedora and Warwicks. Never been comfortable on a 5 string so the detune feature is great. Love your vids, keep going sir!
Man, I have coveted one of those things since 1985 but never found one. They're like rocking horse doo-doo over here in the UK. And now Phil Kubicki is no longer with us, they're only ever gonna go north in value. Beautiful instruments.

You can still get them new. 18V preamp too.
The company will apparently take orders to build one for you, but my guess is it will take a lot of time and be very expensive.
