    Back in 2012 when I first read about the Voyager 1 leaving the heliophere, that was the exact moment I began to realise how incredible space is. It sparked my interest and I began reading everything about it. This documentary made me very emotional because of this personal reason. It is amazing.

      Watched it. It is good for 10 minutes, but after that, very boring and stale. I do not recommend it

    Since Earth and all on it are the alien's creations and they know exactly everything we're about and do, what exactly were we 'really' trying to accomplish with the Voyager's gold record and the whole thing?

    They should have sent a bunch of them in different directions to up our chances of being discovered.

    2 scenarios:
    Scenario one a glactic or intergalactic civilisation finds the voyager.
    Which means a civilisation which is able to travel within an entire galaxy or travel even between galaxies. This marks a level of technology and evolution that is almost incomprehensible for us. We are in comparison not even a solar civilisation (we have not yet managed to travel effectively within our own solar system).
    In this case the resources on earth would not be of interest to such an evolved civilisation and they would at best visit our planet out of curiosity.
    Scenario two a far less developed civilisation, most likely a solar bordering on galatic civilisation finds the voyager.
    In this case they might be interested in the resources on earth and would most likely eliminate us. The only hurdle would be most likely the distance to our planet, and the exact location of our planet which they now possess because of the information in the voyager.

    How can they be sure that the Voyager will still be working after our planet is long gone? How do they know that it wouldn't collide with any space body?

    • @crazy360playa
      @crazy360playa 3 роки тому +6

      Provided it does not collide with anything or is not retrieved, it will travel forever. No guarantees it does not collide with a small rock, but the chances are so low given the vastness of space. NASA knows where it will be in 300,000 years.

    we are not alone,imean just imagine scientist discovered many habitable planets for us humans but what if those planets have already organisms living on it and there might be even some organisms that are as smart as us humans,so no we are not alone
