@@kimmyfreak200 LEOs aren't `normally by nature' women haters. However, when your rapist is charged, he will almost invariably offer the defense of consent to a rape charge. Rape is hard to prove in many cases, so the DA does need information on how to go about prosecuting this case, including forestalling whatever doubts that the defense may be able to raise for the jury. Unfortunately, many rapes occur in ambiguous circumstances such as in a dating relationship.
@Evelyn Waugh. You typed a lot of words to dismiss a cop asking a ra__ survivor about “booty calls”. In this video Mike even detailed how one victim’s FRIENDS helped find her killer. Bootlickers who twist yourselves into knots to defend shitty cops are a cancer.
I’m so glad you did a video on this, Khalil has been weird since middle school. When we were in 8th grade he was caught placing his phone in a locker of the girls locker room. He was suspended for 10 days, and forced to see a therapist. Clearly that’s didn’t work. My condolences to the Butler family. I know them personally.
Thank you for confirming that these behaviors don't spring out of nowhere. I do believe that people who later commit heinous crimes mush have exhibited some weird behavior earlier in life. There's no way an average person could do something like this.
That's good to know that he had shown odd behavior before becoming a murderer. I mean not good but its comforting & makes sense that he has probably ALWAYS been a total creep. He had to just have been born completely missing an important element of humanity. This one really got me because this seemingly normal young man was just a complete monster. He isn't unattractive either I'm sure he could have been with women he just preferred to torture and murder them instead. Scary af
@Michelle Sanders a lot of ppl who shouldn't have power seek that job to have power over others. If you're an adult and don't know that, check your privilege and join the rest of us in the real world. Police being the "Good guys" has NEVER been my experience. And no, I'm not a criminal.
I would recommend that everyone get a private investigator, if a loved one goes missing or is murdered. Especially people of color that are poor. Raise the money somehow.
@Michelle Sanders still no excuse for lazy police work. Anybody who has been trained at their job gets the blame if they aren’t doing it correctly. The fact that her friends did it without pay while police weren’t taking it serious is something that needed to be pointed out. They only get the blame when they deserve it. Edit: Just wanted to add I’ve personally been trained to sacrifice my life, and didn’t expect anything in return.
What shatters my heart about the, “Less then dead” victims is that they were already born unlucky…to bad homes or bad parents that hurt them. It seems so unjust that they get less attention from the police than the “lucky” people that were born to an already gifted life. Our judicial system needs such an immense and immediate reform to protect the truly innocent 💔

What kind of cop looks at a pregnant woman with a pair of handcuffs on her wrist and asks, "So you let him duct tape you?" The dirt bag kind, apparently.
The cops probably thought she is a sex worker doing her business deal in the motel (the cuffs being a kink) then she had an arguement with her client over the money and she is accusing him of trying to murder her to the cops out of spite. That would explain why they behaved like little cunts and not taking her seriously.

Also, to people looking down on her for being a sex worker ya'll no better than the cops who didn't listen to her. and yes the friends who tracked down the killer are also mad heroes )
On a day to day basis, cops deal with a lot more bullshit than the truth. They have to be skeptical... I’m not excusing the behavior of the cops in this story, just saying...
I cannot believe the cop said, “so you let him duct tape you”. And his lack of concern is less than impressive. Prostitute or not, she needed to be treated with some care.

It amazes me that people think sociopaths care. They don't. They CAN'T show remorse because they don't think they've done anything wrong...ever. Thankfully, he was stopped. If not, who knows how long he could've gone on. He would've learned how to cover his tracks. Hopefully, he never gets out.
Exactly. Hard as it is for the majority of us to understand or accept they have no ability for whatever reason to empathize with their victims and they do not care about the pain they’ve caused.
I've said this so many times. People often look for remorse. People like this are incapable of remorse, so it's best not to expect anything. The best thing is for them to never step foot in public again.
Edmond Kemper, after murdering his Mother and her friend he wanted to stop himself from killing again and turned himself in to the police. He claimed that he could not have otherwise stopped and that he wanted to so bad that the only way he knew how was to turn himself in. He claimed to have satisfied his need to kill once he killed his mother and her friend. So I am not sure how that relates to not being able to stop. He did claim both things in testimony and statements to the press. I would call that remorse and empathy for any future potential victims.
David Berkowitz a.k.a Son of Sam. He killed six people in New York and was sentenced to life. While in prison, not only did he regret being a killer and felt remorse for everyone he killed, he became a devoted Christian, and said he found a God while being held in prison. Berkowitz also stated he’s so excited to see God when he passes away, and that God would hopefully forgive him for what he had done in the mid 1970s.

@@extragoogleaccount6061 his motive was probably because killing someone made him feel something, that rush of adrenaline, which was like a drug, otherwise he felt nothing, cause he's a psychopath. Of course that doesn't mean they are everywhere. Psychopaths just don't have the same worldview as we. Psychopaths don't truly love, they can pretend or even know they should/have to, but never emotionally. They can get attached to you rather in a logical way - "what do I gain from being with you, what do I lose from being with you, does it provide me the things I want" etc. Most Psychopaths or Sociopaths don't kill. The motive of that guy is probably feeling something. Many serial killers described how they could only be satisfied either sexually or by feeling the rush or having total control over someone's life, only when killing someone (as this is the highest offense in the eyes of the public a person can do against another person), hunting the prey too.

Unfortunately, many rapes occur in ambiguous circumstances such as in a dating relationship.

Did he really come from a good family?
That's good to know that he had shown odd behavior before becoming a murderer. I mean not good but its comforting & makes sense that he has probably ALWAYS been a total creep. They can't all not understand what they have done 🙈
@@laurcoates7842 I lived with a girl that moved out of jersey, she was very cordial and sweet and then we got drunk on the town and rolled a blunt when we got back to the house we lived in and she let the floodgates open on how the police up there would extort her for sex and turn their body cameras off when they interacted. Just a boat load of shit. Best roommate I ever had!
I can attest. One of the first things my husband noticed about me was how long I look in the rearview after passing a cop. I told him "I'm from Jersey. Old habits die hard." 😂
I dated one. He used to drink with his co workers before going into work. Safe to say we didn’t last long.

The way he “side looks” at the judge while the judge reads how many years he’s getting. I hope this guy never finds an escape route 😬
He was almost disturbingly calm. Mike didn't give us a motive, which is a little frustrating despite the fact that it wouldn't change anything. But the killer did not attempt to cover his tracks at all and yet was familiar with law enforcement procedures. Cases like this are honestly more scary to me than when killers are clearly demented and outwardly evil. Until the incident with Tiffany, there was seemingly no way to have predicted or prevented his spree. I'm sure there must have been more to the story of his mental health, yet nothing that had alarmed anyone in the past. Kid just threw away those three girl's lives for no reason....not to mention his own
reeks of psychopathy
Born evil!!!
And he stutters repeatedly while says, ‘it wa-wa-wasn’t me’
Coward.
@@extragoogleaccount6061 his motive was probably because killing someone made him feel something, that rush of adrenaline, which was like a drug, otherwise he felt nothing, cause he's a psychopath. Not all psychopaths kill, many of them are your bosses, they don't care if they have to lay off a 1000 people to increase the company's revenue, they are cold and calculated, that's why emotions do not interfere in their decision making, which makes them better than those with perfectly normal, healthy brains.
Great work by the young women who are more savvy than the police. Imagine how many more crimes could be prevented and solved?
Those friends are heros. How many lives did they save by doing the work for the police?

Can't forget the absolute morale kick that did to the dude.
Where did you get the idea that forgiveness means no accountability? Victims may forgive but that doesn't mean they want to see the person back on the street anyhow. And where do you live that prosecutors would drop a case against a murderer because the victim's mom forgave the killer?
Nah hand him over to me I’ll administer the death penalty 👨🏽🔬
@@Tracymmo I want to know where this idea came from that unless you "forgive" you will have a heavy heart the rest of your life. Not me. I can hate one POS person and love life at the same time.
It's more about moving on, than literal forgivness. You don't want to keep these kind of people in your mind, it will consume you with grief and obsession. No one wants to live like that for the rest of their life.

I'm like 85% sure the cops didn't take Tiffany seriously because of his father and uncle being detectives. There is too much "protect your own" gang mentality amongst law enforcement and I find it incredibly disgusting and sad.
He had no idea who he was when she told him. They didn’t believe her for some other reason, perhaps she was known as a sexual worker, worker for money, and has other arrests for it. It’s very common in sex work for them to act out fetishes for me & why they make the money.

Scary as well. Can you imagine how terrified those women were. Duct taping their entire head and than strangely. Horrific. I think I would die of a heart attack if someone was taping my entire head.
if you look in his eyes you can see sort of a re-anger as they name off the verdicts, like he was re-living the murder and re-creating the anger/satisfaction he got from it. just my opinion
That's an individual completely devoid of empathy.
He didn't even move a muscle, didn't move his jaw, grit his teeth, no tears, didn't blink. Nothing.

The majority of his victims were sex workers, the rest were people he knew (or thought they) would be hard up for cash. Police do not care what happens to sex workers.
