Thanx for the instructional how to video, looks very simple to do. I had a 2007 Toyota Camry with similar application & I did the same thing with my GPS antenna & worked flawlessly. Now I owned a w204 & finally someone came up with what looks to me a cool product that will compliment the car. Thanx again...

Thanks much for your video tutorial of the install, I sent this video link with the PDF from manufacturer to the audio shop and it helped them big time! They even ran the USB down the pass side and noise dampened the metal box! But now I have to tackle setting up the software...

Get a Bluetooth FM transmitter I recommend high quality one like ( Anker ROAV Bluetooth FM transmitter ) and put it on the cigarette outlet Then you can pair it with your phone
@@montisino FM transmitters are crap! Why would you install this screen and also a FM transmitter? You can use FM transmitter eith the original radio too.

Guys, just wanna let you know. This head unit is great! The display is on point. Its audio quality isn't as bad as most of us thought (infact it's quite good). Not to mention It comes with 4gb of ram and 64gb of storage. Madness!

Great DIY. I already have a harness I added for a reverse camera, and I could barely fit the radio back in place with that (Took almost 30 minutes of removing, re positioning/stuffing harnesses/wires to get it to finally sit back in place. Can't imagine adding another harness back there.

Raymond why exactly did you uninstall your screen? You said it was too big and didn't finish the other reasons...I have an 08 MB C350 W204 with crappy 4 inch (non flip, no nav) screen and I purchased the M1W but really would like to know what your reasons were for the uninstall, thanks
3 reasons why I uninstalled the screen
1)it was huge. I don't think anyone truly understands just how big it is. Plus at night it doesn't auto dim so it's like being in a stadium at night.
2)The LVDS adapter..... The damn thing burnt up twice on my car. I spoke with Chris and he said I had bad luck. The 3rd one worked perfectly but by then I was frustrated from not being able to see my original factory screen.
3) last it's running Android 6.0 so it's a bit dated since Android is up to 9.0. so some of the applications run a bit slow at time especially after an update.
I enjoyed the screen while I had it but I have another plan for a new screen. But it won't be a plug and play, it will be very involved and full of wire cutting.
This guy...lol...was thinking to pm you and I thought I should attempt to at least try and pm Raymond but wth...thanks for the insight...and to be honest I wondered about the brightness, and the fact that it had no cover to hide it...but in a another info video of yours it looked like I could turn it down when driving...that would bug me too...still laughing
BTW can't wait for another option hate hate hate the sucks to be me 4 inch...

nathan Richardson my friend FLEXX just did. But honestly there is little difference it's running Android 7.0 vs 6.0 and has 16gb more of ram. You can select MPH BUT the guage will still be KMH soooo I feel like it's a marketing ploy. Chris sells the updated one now

Hello Raymond, first of all i would like to thank you for your very informative and useful uploads. Would be very nice if you could help me to solve some issues with my android.
So, NTG screen at the beginning, when i connected it- worked, but after around an hour it went black and stays like that till now. I tried A.B.AB cabel wires but no help.
Also in settings i tried the options from 1 to 10, but still nothing changed.
Another issue is when I start the car engine, the screen doesn't turn on, I have to turn the car's radio OFF then turn it ON, only then the screen works.

Hi - I've been running my android head unit for a few months without any issues now - but now i've got no sound when using my apps on the headunit, everything is fine except sound. I normally select DISC to get the sound coming from the apps. But selecting DISC now loads the CD;s on the original headunit Is there a setting for this? Thanks for any help.

Great Video Raymond. I recently purchased this unit for my 2017 GLC 300, everything has hooked up great but I am getting no sound, the car has a Burmester sound system. The Android unit I purchased came with a small silver box attached to the harness which has a USB on the end, I was told to connect this to my USB in the arm rest and then go into the secret Menu in settings and select USB as source but nothing happens, I have tried everything any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

The only thing that didn't come with my android is that white piece that you have used to connect the silver video cable from the car.
On mine, the volume from the radio and from the steering wheel are not working.. it's like the car radio and the Android device are not talking to each other.. not sure why

Hi, i am installing the ckm monitor for the w204 Mercedes benz. And I’m running into some of the issues.
1. The screen works fine, but it is extremely slow.
2. It has no sounds and can not control over the car/factory radio.
3. When I clicked into the fm/cd. It just had a black screen and lights in the middle like the picture shown.

Hey raymond! Thanks for the video! I’ve intalled the screen into my car and the screen’s gps is signal kind of weak and sometimes there’s no signal at all. Do you experience the same problem after installing?
I have not experienced that. Make sure you have it plugged into the correct port. If the issue continues try running it to the windshield.

Peter HMan they work on the factory screen. For everything else you can use the wheel or touch the screen

I bought this from CKM and it came with no install instructions. Thanks to your video, I have been able to get it working, so thanks. 2 issues though, 1 I get constant feedback noise when the unit is on and not playing anything, second like many people I am struggling to refit the factory NTG unit due to the extra cables now behind it. Any tips?

Very informative video.I would like to ask you for a problem.I have installed the screen and when it turns on appears 3 different screens one on the left which is a half of the radio the second in the middleloc is black and the third on the right is the reverse. Can't seem to tug it in nicely as all the cables inside is block the way. I know you said to maybe evenly distribute the things I the bottom, but do you have anymore tips for this specific step? Raymond, the red wire that you connected to the yellow wire with bullet connectors, i dont have the yellow cable, i have a red cable that says ACC-1N and a brown cable the says reverse, which one should i hook it up to?
