I dont know why but it was a STRUGGLE to get this video together this week but here it is!! 😂🤣 Happy Friday guys and I hope yall have an amazing weekend! I will be announcing the new moderators on Built Not Bought soon... hopefully this evening #dbfam #builtnotbought
trust trust trust me when i say, GO WITH THE fel-pro gasket that has small metal crush rings on it. Speedfactory sells them also. there called Fel-pro PermaDryPlus gaskets, i think the part number is OS 30630 T or you can just order it from them, its not much more but I promise installed correctly you arent ever seeing a leak again. I've used 6-7 different brands including oem and at some point(Sometimes years later) they leak. this gasket has never leaked on a build ever.
Do yourself a favor and go ahead with the PermaDry gasket. I 110% recommend it. I've used several of them in my shop and will never use another standard B series gasket.
Had to stop the vid mid way thru to tell you that you are a bad ass dad for spending time with your daughter like that and not even being ashamed by it and posting it in your YT channel im a dad myself and I'll spend a nail painting session with my daughter just to have some quality time with her keep it up man! BTW loving the content got a eg sedan w/a b20z2 that want to vtec swap soon quality work keep it up
Love watching your work man. Take ur time and do it right the first time. It’s not a curse, it’s a gift. It will show in the end. Would love to kick it sometime!
Also i like to put a little lube on the inside of the throwout bearing were it slides onto the trans. And on the points were the fork touch it prolly a lil 2 late tho lol
The oil pan gasket pushes out the sides because you don’t have the metal dowels that are supposed to be in the gasket that stop you from over tightening without those dowels you just keep tightening and the gasket starts to squeeze out
lol my engine is still on the stand. I need to get it balanced too. don't use the gasket like that it will leak. the same thing happened to me on my ef a while back.
A great way to start my weekend. The car is coming together great bro super happy for you.. I dunno about the hair man ahahahaha I CAN wait for my daughter to go up ... Great vid bro #DBFAM
hopefully you never have to take that flywheel off. that threadlock is going to make it tough. also if it not high heat threadlock it could melt and end up loosening the bolts
@@phildelsol97 I'd check it out with either home or profressional testing. Profressional testing is ALWAYS PREFER ED imo. A crack in a block should be addressed first thing because you usually don't know how deep it is or when it will stop.
NinjaNateOS problem is tge motor is in tge car so how would i do so? i noticed it when i got the motor 2 weeks ago and put it in anyways then my trans took a shit so i tire it apart the trans was cracked too lmao so i didnt drive it very hard
@@tctnick4156 ive done it multiple times on stock and up to stage 2 so basically stock the forks get old and were never ment for these forces we put on them its why we have hydraulic release bearings sadly no one ever thinks about the clutch forks
My broo. I really like your video. I have a question for you¡! My mechanic an i are doing a h2b swap on my 89 ef hatch i have a b16 tranny for my h.. so i want to know what clutch do u recomend me
Really should be applying a thin layer of grease on the surface the throw-out bearing rides. Proper grease is Honda Urea Grease. Same grease for the shift fork ball. Great work man, keep it up. Nice going back and seeing the build up.

We need a respray on the engine lift and engine stand 👌
Stumbled onto this channel. Absolutely love it lol. Sub'd bro!
hey use the felpro with the metal in the middle its the same gasket that speedfactory sells.. hope it helps, better than oem..
A great way to start my weekend.
The car is coming together great bro super happy for you..
I dunno about the hair man ahahahaha
I CAN wait for my daughter to go up ...
Great vid bro

You should look into the felpro permadry oil pan gasket. It has a steel core sandwiched between the rubber.
Nope, My Honda Habit is the ONLY oilpan gasket anyone should use
@@puppetmasterblaster that one looks too, but it's composite versus metal and it cost almost twice the price as the permadry.
Exedy Ftw!!!
That seal needs to be for a d16y8 manual transmission in order to fit.
I went through the same problem
Good video bro looking nice
Make sure your clutch pedal mount is strong enough for that stiff clutch...mine broke once. lol
That valve cover though omgggg
Hell yea bro comp clutch ftw
Bro that engine looks crazy sexy as hell, so think the trans would look killer the same color as the valve cover tho. Bad ass dude
hopefully you never have to take that flywheel off. that threadlock is going to make it tough. also if it not high heat threadlock it could melt and end up loosening the bolts
That oil pan gasket it is normal I put it on my car was marriage car it didn't have any problem leaking

Hi nice build ,what starter your using for the b20 set up
is your block broken @14:07 part of where the trans and block bolt together?
That far from the working internals should be fine as long as that is the broken corner.
NinjaNateOS i waa asking cause mine is cracked just not broke
@@phildelsol97 I'd check it out with either home or profressional testing. Profressional testing is ALWAYS PREFER ED imo. A crack in a block should be addressed first thing because you usually don't know how deep it is or when it will stop.

3rd.. and hell yheaaa brother I'll also like a hard ass @#$/ clutch that's how my is now nice build broo Can't wait too see it on the dyno
Need to get the oil pan gasket with metal in it
damn the clutch assembly too! my guy lol , i be commenting to early in the video😂
That clutch fork is going to break save yourself some headache and weld some support to the sides so it dont fold at the pivit point
I have also seen this happen with beefy clutches. Fkin sucks lol
@@tctnick4156 ive done it multiple times on stock and up to stage 2 so basically stock the forks get old and were never ment for these forces we put on them its why we have hydraulic release bearings sadly no one ever thinks about the clutch forks
Bro the my hondahabit b series oil pan gasket is the only way to go it is stiff as shit and doesn't bulge out check it out

Hahahaha hell yeah, kitchen sink parts washing gangg
The big tourq wrenches are NOT made for doing the lower settings, I found out the hard way and smoked my cam shafts 😓
Good choice on the clutch.its a bitch daily driving a unsprung clutch disk.i had one in my h23 swap.you would have sold it after 6 months lol.
I'd throw some Honda bond on them trans seals

Great work man, keep it up. Nice going back and seeing the build up.
For the inport shaft
Nice
1:52 watch out for his left leg and don't get kick by it lol
I wan ask about this clutch when I idle I hear quite rough noise, once press the clutch no noise edy why ya😢
just noticed the back bottom trans bolt hole the block is snapped off
Is Built not bought on FB no longer?
We need that dbg hair dying tutorial 😂😂😂
Should of used the new felpro gasket
Hey I think your pilot bearing goes into the block not the flywheel.
It goes into the flywheel.
Idk how long I’ve been a subscriber for but if I don’t see this car running soon I’m out fam.
It's never been about finishing it..
See you later
How do I order this same clutch I don’t understand there website
I hate those oil pan gaskets.factory OEM on the critical stuff.
The face he makes in the thumbnail is the same face as a cookhold scene if you know what I mean.
Next time use a rubber mallet
1 is bigger then the other but that 1 is way big
18th.
I try cc clutch single disc and for me are bad best way is twin disc cc
Is a turbo for a BMW lol
