I was in border services and we had a brokerage class. It can be complicated but it’s repetitive. Simple math as well.

or u can go straight to taking the test. i took a 2 month class and passed the test my first time. pass rate then was 4 %nationwide in u.s.

@@vincentv1790 I've worked as an Air Import Coordinator for a Top 3 Forwarder. Customs Broking is more valued by a company, stronger job security and less chance of being outsourced/position made redundant.

50k-60k Canadian $ . It is 37500-45000 US $. For this work you should have a salary 10k per month.

It is quite bizarre especially because of the responsibility.

True and that is due to competition, we have the big guys competing amongst them eg. DHL, UPS, FedEx etc.
clients want cheap service for the complex work. so companies want to pay less to gain more profit. :( I have been in this industry for over 11 years.
