Thanks for posting this as there is not much I can find on what downtown Las Galeras looks like.!! What were your overall thoughts of Las Galeras?? We are going there in a few weeks, but the downtown area looks a bit rough around the edges from what I can tell. Thanks!
Thanks for watching and the comment. The Las Galeras downtown begins from 11:30 in the video when the text Las Galeras shows. Las Galeras is a very small town and undeveloped. It has a very nice nature and nice beaches but it’s not a rich country so most places are not developed and is very rough but we drove around the country and did not have any problems. If you booked a resort then they are normally ocean front and very nice. I think it’s an experience to see how other people lives around the world. We are the type of persons that going very close to locals to see how they live. I hope you have a wonderful time in Dominican Republic. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
@@travelcrazycouple2736 Thanks for that response. We actually booked an Airbnb overlooking the ocean just south of town. I am excited to do go El Fronton beach and see many of their other undeveloped beaches. We are only there for a couple if days, so it should definitely be a cool expereience. I enjoyed your Las Terrenas videos as we will spend most of our time there. I'll check out some of your other Las Galeras region videos! Great work!!
@@JohnVHaysProductions There is a beach called Playa Rincon, we drove there it took long 45 min. To get there by car but you can go with boat I think it takes 10 min. It was very nice. It’s undeveloped and there are only 2 places you can have food. I recommend take some food with you in case you don’t like it or don’t like the food. You can watch our video from that beach. It’s on the west side of Las Galeras. El Fronton is on the east side. Las Terrenas is a little bit larger and you see more people and development. I hope you enjoy and have a great time over there. If you drive by car just download the google map for those area you like to drive this way you have the offline map on your phone so you can get directions even if you don’t have Wi-Fi or cell phone data.
