Reva and Marah should always have been oil and water. Marah had to assume adulthood rather early in her life, making her more sensible, more responsible, more cautious than her mother could ever be. Instead of being boring, this would have given Marah more potential for romantic conflict than she had just by being the generic "blonde ingenue" in a typical young adult pairing. Much like Kathleen Cullen's Amanda, Marah should have been a little insecure about her sexual identity, fearing she would be like her mother, which would have set up years of bad romantic choices one after the other. Guess Roger Thorpe was not there.
If Michael Zaslow had still been playing him he might have been.
Michael Zaslow had become very ill and died the following year. The actor who played Hampton Speakes also died in 1997 from cancer, but he had been let go from the show a couple of years before he passed.
@@dc7128 He was on from 1989 1996 and was dropped to recurring. I think he ran a club and he also acted on its sister show Another World.
@@laminage I think that he went back on One Life To Live where his character actually had ALS like he did in real life. GL fired him before knowing he had ALS
Also HB was very forgiving with Billy when he messed up at Lewis Oil because of his Drinking. I think Billy did bad things because he didn't feel worthy since his Real Mother was a "Madam".

Five Stars episode
I couldn’t stand Dinah!😒
at the time i liked dinah because of her " bad " girl qualities but now find her irritating , annoying
Me too, although the actress is beautiful and very talented
I preferred Gina in the role and her scenes with Laura were great. Didn't like Wendy as Dinah but I liked her on that CBS Drama.
Peace. ?
