The only thing keeping them from overtaking both their own game and everyone else is the beam of light which activates at the end of every game session. Without it, they'd spread like a virus corrupting everything in the Arcade. The game designers created a fucking virus! Even if Ralph hadn't rocked the apple cart Hero's Duty was a ticking time bomb!
When you realize that Ralph isn’t clumsy, is just goes against his bad guy programing, he can’t be good even if he tried. His programing was basically targeting the player (the girl) for her to fail and that’s why he didn’t fight the Cybugs because they were on “his side” his bad guy side that is
I distinctly remembered watching this scene in the theater and the music was so loud it felt like I was in the game with Ralph and the scene was just too funny and still is. I don't know if it's Ralph causing trouble, the music still playing with the shenanigans or the girl making a weird confused face instead of laughing. Plus Calhoun is basically if Elsa ditched her ice powers, cut her hair and went to a distant planet joining a space military
