Hi friends! This video was a bit different than normal... let me know if you enjoyed it! Leave me a comment letting me know which card is your favorite. :) ✭ FULL supply list with PICTURES: ldli.co/e/kqr0pj9
I love that you added your friend's "help" at the end. I also love how you showed your mistake and how to salvage what you had and how to think about avoiding that problem in the future. Thanks for including your thought process.
I loved the two happy accidents at the end, they were incredible! It is often the 'what will I do with my leftovers' that turn out so great & the best part is that you haven't wasted any paste!!
Your best vid yet in my opinion. I have been making mistakes with texture paste so I wasted materials. I loved that you showed your errors and explained the why of them and how to fix them. You taught rather than just showing. We can watch tons of demo’s or vids but when we try the technique it’s not the same results. It’s frustrating. There is usually a learning curve when using a new technique but I rather it be a short, fast curve. I have watched a lot of texture paste vids because I wasn’t sure I wanted to go that way. Your products swayed me and now I will enjoy the process of creating more. I wish I had known your tip not to use texture paste on a sticky mat before I learned the hard way. I appreciated the education also because 6 of my grandkids, 6-14 yrs, saw my finished pile and had to try. Next session they will also learn indirectly from you. They love your Lunar paste. One of the 9 yr olds asked to make a card for her Mom and she went right to lunar paste. I was so pleased and proud of how well she did without direction. Her Mom loved the Lunar paste and asked about it. You made the vid fun. You showed us a bit of who you are and how your own process works. This felt more like when I attend a local class. Loved the call. How fun was that! Well done all around! Now I have to leave a like and I need to check my colors because there are requests for more. Grace and peace to you and your family.
Thanks for leaving such a sweet comment! Means a lot to me. I am so glad that you found the whole process during the video helpful. And me sharing some of my errors so that we can all learn from them. Thanks for the support!! :)
Simon, this is one of my favorite videos of yours!!!! You let more of the "fun" side of card making/being human show through!!! I love that you ask your friends for opinions!!! (I think we all may...I know I do!!!) And, you let your "mistake" come through also!!!! Still turned out to be stunning!!!! But my favorite card was the "clean up" on the black cardstock!!!!
The clean up flowers really came together when you added the center and the sentiment. And, of course, the deco one was terrific. Thanks for showing both the boo-boos and the fixes!
I love that not only did you not cut out the mistake, you also just bleeped and didn't cut out your reaction. I love this industry but it can feel a little plastic to me at times. It SUCKS to ruin something--especially on camera. Anyone who is doing this and NOT cussing through some of it... are the even really doing it?? 😁 Love this video!
Simon, I bought 4 different colors of Astro paste and 3of them were great. My jar of crown me doesn’t have any sparkle. Tried to mix it more and more 4 times, still not one sparkle. Looking at the exterior of the jar it looks like there is sparkle in the jar, but not one is in the paste. I just wanted to let you know there is a problem with that color. I have all of the other pastes and love them all. Also enjoy watching your videos. You seem like such a nice guy and I’m so glad you have such great success.
Hi! So glad you are enjoying the Astro Pastes. Please follow the steps on this page and let the Ranger team know the issues you are having. rangerink.com/pages/get-in-touch-with-us They will be happy to assist you and make it right! :)
Thank you for showing the trial and error when making these cards. It’s so helpful to see how you troubleshoot when a project starts to take an unwanted detour! I think my favorite was actually the end - the Deco diamond stencil - also loved the card with “you make the world a better place” sentiment. Love your videos!
Thank you for sharing your mistake on the Astro Paste. I am the queen of mistakes while learning to make cards. Also watching your videos I do learn a lot. Thank you for all your inspiration ❤
Thank you for showing your mistake and how to fix it. I always wonder how you can make such great cards and never make a mistake. Thank you for showing your human side.
Thank you for sharing your fail & add in of suggestions to help. I've had these issues & was wondering what I was doing wrong?! I appreciate that you are detailed when explaing your techniques! Thank you!
Love, love, love it! I'm so glad to have come across your video, as I recently bought some Astro Paste and already had the Lunar and Solar Pastes. I didn't know I could use them all together! That is so awesome! I haven't had time yet to play with any of them very much, but your videos made me want to do them very soon. I especially love what you did with the flower stencils. I think I need to buy that stencil now. Keep doing what you are doing, Simon. You have such creative gifts, and your videos inspire me. Thank you!
Hi Simon- I haven’t tried your Pastes yet. I’ve been watching your videos and I’m intrigued. I’ve been collecting my stencils and now it’s time to get the Paste. Looking forward to seeing the results I get with your gorgeous Paste.
I love to see you make the mistakes so I don't have to, lol. That deco diamonds stencil is one of my favorites; I love the Astro Paste on that card front.
I love the pretty petals card. The rainbow flowers are beautiful even before you added the lunar paste for the centers. I can't wait until my astronomy paste arrives! I don't do much with paste or glitter but I want to try red and green for Christmas. 😊💛
Great job Simon. I enjoyed watching this type of video. You never know what someone might learn! Great job as well with your stencil cleanup (which I really liked). ECR would be very proud! 😆
Love the video, Simon. I can't wait to get those new astro pastes.💜 I liked everything ya did. The card ya did it the end with the leftover was really cool!💜
Thank you for sharing this, Simon! It certainly will help me with my pastes in the future! Sometimes it's nice to know that even creators have difficult days too 😊
Wonderful video, Simon! I actually liked the last card at all three stages. Your cards are gorgeous and I really appreciate your sharing your entire process, including the “call a friend” segment. 😂 Thank you! 😊
Terrific video, Simon! I love how you showed the 'oops!', because we all make mistakes and it's good to see. I have a few of both the Solar and Luna pastes and can't wait to try the Neons!
All of todays cards are awesome. I think the clean up ones were my favorite. The very last Wowser 😍❣️❣️❣️ I completely agree that it’s stunning. I just got the Prom queen texture paste to try out and love the results.
Wow so pretty ! It is amazing how you wait a minute let glitter paste dry and it so sparkling. I didn’t hear of you said anything about the texture of pastes . Th ey seemed like they flush flat with paper . If you wanted dimensional effects can you apply thick layer ? Or will it easily fall off ? I am so overwhelmed lol I am still building my papercraft, mixed media , junk journal and crazy quilting or fabric, lace and such for my shabby chic style I think I going to rewind . I writing text and looked up and love the petals stencil .. that’s it . I love that color palette and flower design !! Thanks Simon ❤️😀😎🍀
Such beautiful cards! ♥ I don't have the Astro yet but recently bought all the Lunar and Neon ~ I'm excited to start to use them! ^.^ Thank you for sharing as you are learning ~ very handy tips!
Back to your original question: I liked the final effects of the balloon card! Also the art deco piece is going to be so lovely in whatever it becomes.
Hi Simon, I love your videos but this was the best so far! You are human and make mistakes 😂 great to know, keep up the excellent work, love all your cards 🥰✨🇦🇺
Whoa! I thought to myself “ I wonder if I can put the stencils in a bowl of water and then wash them all at once.”. And your NEXT words were “or you could put them in a bowl of water…”. 🤯
Hi, Simon, did you say that you have an upcoming class in your video? I don't remember where you said that or how to find out more info on your upcoming class.
I have to agree with your friend about your texture never being smooth... I know what she means. Yes, it's texture paste but it's always so chunky. Texture can be smooth, and not always chunky.😂
Hi Pamela! Those are links to the products that I am talking about on screen. This makes it helpful for the people to find the product that I am showing easily. :)

I like that you didn't cut out the mistake. Not only did you show how to fix it, but you showed that even a pro like yourself makes mistakes.
Yay! Glad you found those parts helpful! I think its great to show how we can fix the mistakes and learn from them. :)
I love that you added your friend's "help" at the end. I also love how you showed your mistake and how to salvage what you had and how to think about avoiding that problem in the future. Thanks for including your thought process.
Yay! Glad you enjoyed that. I have so much fun chatting with them hahaha
"I just want to try it out because you just might run into your new favorite technique" is the BEST advice, Simon! These are STUNNING! ❤
I loved the two happy accidents at the end, they were incredible! It is often the 'what will I do with my leftovers' that turn out so great & the best part is that you haven't wasted any paste!!
Thanks for not cutting out the “mistake” and for using up all of the excess paste at the end. That’s real crafting!!! 🌻TYFS!
I love the last stencil that you did with the leftovers. I love that you fussy cut your sentiments. It's been a game changer for me. Thanks Simon.

Believe it or not, the cleanup one is my favorite! I love quick and simple, and that's gorgeous!

I really like your “clean up” cards! Nothing wasted, and so pretty!
It's very hard to pick one project that I liked better. I was amazed at all you could do with the pastes and thanks for sharing all those ideas.
I like the last one the best because it was not so busy. Thank you for all the tips!
😆 I love love love that you kept it real and showed your friends you were getting opinions from. LOVE IT!
Thank you for keeping in what didn’t work and how to fix it. Most of all it still looks great!
Yes! Glad to have left the mistakes in. We all make them and it's great to learn from them. :)
Thanks for showing what went wrong and how to fix it.💟
Great video! I love the learning process and the last card using the left over glitter paste was my favorite.
Thank you for showing your mistake and how to fix it. I always wonder how you can make such great cards and never make a mistake. Thank you for showing your human side.

Love this video the most. Your oops was what happens to me all the time. Thanks Simon for being real

I love to see you make the mistakes so I don't have to, lol. That deco diamonds stencil is one of my favorites; I love the Astro Paste on that card front.
Glad you enjoyed seeing the whole process Cordelia! Im happy to have left everything in. :)
Hi, Simon. Can’t pick a favorite…they are all beautiful. Thank you for the “how to” hints. Have a great day!
I love the pretty petals card. The rainbow flowers are beautiful even before you added the lunar paste for the centers. I can't wait until my astronomy paste arrives! I don't do much with paste or glitter but I want to try red and green for Christmas. 😊💛

Love those sentiment dies! They are some of my favorites
Loved the deco diamonds with the left over paste.
All of todays cards are awesome.

Fabulous cards! Love “shine” that your products have!😊
A
Hah! I love the “screen hug!” Very cute.
Love it!! It's like the video is from the real you perspective not a perfect edited video you made!!
Awesome video Simon!!! Love the fun silly side too!
Such beautiful cards! ♥ I don't have the Astro yet but recently bought all the Lunar and Neon ~ I'm excited to start to use them! ^.^
Thank you for sharing as you are learning ~ very handy tips!
Beautiful you did a good job
I absolutely love them all!
Thanks Toni!
Great class, thank you 😊
Love watching. I messed up a lined stencil with smooth and Astro paste. Just gonna cut mine off too. 😂
Thanks Simon really appreciate this video it really helped me
I love them all will done simon for showing us how to use your things
Love the video! Best one yet! I think I would call it cussy crafting! 😂😂😂
I actually had to rewatch that part. Was so funny! Hugs!
Wooooow the leftover astro paste flowers look like stained glass!! I already ❤'ed the video but it's especially beautiful!
Followup thought, would topping with distress ox be compatible to tone down the glittery leaves 🤔 would it leave more of a matte semi-opaque finish?
Back to your original question: I liked the final effects of the balloon card! Also the art deco piece is going to be so lovely in whatever it becomes.
I love to see the mistakes, aka happy little accidents... lol. I really enjoyed it 👍
It was epic. Thank you for keeping it real! 😂
Hahahah I love that your friends give you a fun time over the textured pastes 😂
Hi Simon, I love your videos but this was the best so far! You are human and make mistakes 😂 great to know, keep up the excellent work, love all your cards 🥰✨🇦🇺
Oh Simon, you made me laugh. Good save on your background.
Whoa! I thought to myself “ I wonder if I can put the stencils in a bowl of water and then wash them all at once.”. And your NEXT words were “or you could put them in a bowl of water…”. 🤯
Do you have any plans to release your inks in cubes? I love how you used the matching ink color under the pastes.
Yes! It may take a while though. We have a lot in the works right now and are releasing slowly to not overwhelm. :)
I like the card very much. Can you please let me know where to buy the mint tape
Hi, Simon, did you say that you have an upcoming class in your video? I don't remember where you said that or how to find out more info on your upcoming class.
Ah, I found the information: no need to reply. Thank you.
Ty for the great ideas! I couldn’t find the roll of tape that you used! (Dimensional not green). Help plz.
See you at Sbcfest. What paper and ink do we need?
My fav was the last floral
Beautiful
Why did you change the foam tape you're using?
Also, why did you choose to not use the glue press?
Does this paste last longer than most without drying out in the container? I found that Simon’s other products do.
I have to agree with your friend about your texture never being smooth... I know what she means. Yes, it's texture paste but it's always so chunky. Texture can be smooth, and not always chunky.😂
Beautiful just like you ❤
love!!!
Make those sentiments in a betterpress plate!!
Great! 😍😍
Nice ❤❤
Had to laugh at the f bomb, keeping it real😂
Gostei de todos mas o numero quatro achei o mais bonito
❤
Why is it you have an add. Actually, yours, blocking what you’re doing. Can’t see everything it needs to disappear.
Hi Pamela! Those are links to the products that I am talking about on screen. This makes it helpful for the people to find the product that I am showing easily. :)
Ok, but it blocks what you are trying to show us. Maybe a link in the description would help too. Thanks for the reply.
I could use some help --- I'm 82 so not tech. save, but I purchased a folder and have some questions....any one can contact me for help?
