I don't usually comment, but I've read somewhere that when you have positive thoughts about someone, let them know right then. You speak so beautifully, Shaykh Hamza Yusuf. I always pray to Allah that I have a pure, truthful tongue, one that doesn't hurt someone, and you have that. You speak so beautifully, Shaykh. You'll be remembered in my prayers for quite a long time now ❤
Back in high school, I read an essay by Somerset Maugham where he expressed those same sentiments, about letting people know if they were good or helpful to you…
Shaykh Hamza is the Al Ghazli of this generation. Truly. No one explains it better than him I feel like. He's a special special man. Much love from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Slm.Your speeches are always so genteel and kind and full of good admonition, Masha Allah Yet, like so many others you now sit and lecture.A sign of the hardships you face for your perseverance. We, see too and are making Dua for you, if there were more we would do that too.Ameen.
Very powerful reminder. Maashaa-Allah. May Allah bless Sheikh Hamza with good health, baraka in his life, family, da'wah and in all his efforts. This is indeed a reminder we all need. Much of what we do in our socializing is backbiting. May Allah save us all
May Allāh have mercy on those believers who only listen to debates and speakers with sharp tongues who do not warn the listeners against the dangers of what they say or of the fact that what they type is equal to what they say. May the ones who lead the listeners into this fitnah have the collective sins of those affected by their words placed solely on them until they repent sincerely. Then, may Allāh forgive them as well. Ameen.
Subghanallah. What a soothing voice. It’s calls u to listen and learn. How grateful must one be. Allah brings forth these amazing learned scholars to remind us of our valuable Deen of Islam. Nothing was left out. We were gifted with these humble scholars Algamdolilah. MaybAllah open our minds and guard or tongues. Inhsa Allah 💕
And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, ‘This is what we were provided with before.’ And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally.” (Q. 2:25)
Mashallah This is a Must bayan to listen SubhanAllah such ways among many Allah reminds us and Teach us to be a good Muslim MashAllah may Allah bless shayk hamza yusuf for his position as a teacher for The ummah in these times of great fitnah
something to listen to throughout, every part is important, if someone doesn't have time to listen carefully in one go, come back to it again and again. it's so important.
Subhanallah cutting off from the vain and that which does not concern one, is so beautiful and so peaceful - and this is our Deen Al-Islaam. Unfortunately many many are confused between knowledge (Deen and Dunya) and gossip (backbiting, slandering, private matters...) And they have not brakes and are self deluded, boastful and vainglorious! Oh Allah protect us all from these prohibitions and give more taqwa and tawfeeq. Ameen
I would like to transcribe every talk of his and make a library of lectures that one can also read. Right now listening on you tube since I have premium will also download and archive electronically so that I can go back and listen in future.
Asalam Waliakum Waramotullahi Wabarakatu, Jummat Mubarak. Thanks so much for sharing knowledge abd wake up call with us. May Allah SWT increase our Eeman and protect us from diseases of the hearts Ameen Ya Rabb . In the Noble Quran Allah SWT says: in Surah Al-Hujurat-Aya 12:O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? May Allah SWT bless Shaykh and everyone propagating our beautiful Deen Islam positively in this world and most especially Hereafter Ameen Ya Rabb. Jazakallahu Khairan
If we wrong someone, and it may cause more harm than good to seek forgiveness from this act with the individual we wronged, can we do tawbah to Allah and ask for forgiveness with Allah and it be accepted? Ask for Allah to increase those we wronged in all good ways?
My in-laws actually do a lot of these sins but they seem ok. Sometimes a doubt comes in my mind regarding these sins. They can destroy someone's reputation very easily and looking at how they act seems there is no retribution for these actions. But I know it's a doubt
*{Verily, to Us will be their return, then verily, for Us will be their Reckoning}* (Al-Ghashiyah 88:25-26) You're right, its waswas. Retribution or reward is only given TRULY on the day we are all held to account.

I ask Allah to see you one day in person I swear I have so much to tell you I just wanna kiss your hand and hug you, you have no idea how many times I listen to your voice on my PC my, phone, my FB, my UA-cam, I feel like I have lost something the moment I don't hear your voice. Looking forward to seeing you one day in my life I would do whatever it takes to make that happen 🙏❤️😞
