Great guide insomniac! The ghosts in the 50% phase increase the health and size of the abomination. There's a cap, the abomination will have 3.8M health at most. If you don't let any in you get a baby abomination.

The yellow circle AoEs, placed by the boss when he siphons the NB, Templar, and Warden abilities, will heal the boss and any other enemies that stand in them.
I have couple vet clears, no hm yet. Was in there on my healer yesterday and tank said I needed to run a cleanse on final boss. I haven't seen this yet. Have you find the need for cleanse?
Super helpful guide. Thank you! Noticed when we ran this that the players affected by the soul steal mechanic *can* be healed by the healer but they receive a pretty nasty healing debuff. Not sure on the percentage, but combat prayers that usually hit for 18k+ were proc'ing instead for
ticks on the first boss? Maybe he is getting hit by the armor debuff of the small adds - it happens when he gets hit by their cone attack, the more ticks he takes the more armor he loses
@@insomniac505 I'm trying to figure this out still. It's what's happening to me. Normal vet, it's just ticks of something that adds up. Seems like everytime boss strikes at me and I block. HM, it's that, and something else ticking on me too.
just spent 5 hours in there.... not for pugs that's for sure... be sure u have a good tank and be sure your healer isnt a french guy who speaks only french!
@@Kaezus cantanese?? gl with that :P so u feel me. it's a must to speak english in order to communicate in there, especially if the one who doesnt, has no knowledge of the mechanics! i am not a native speaker too,i am greek but i have to speak english!
combat addons i use are: Code's combat alerts (samurai is also good but I don't think it called anything there) - UI addons: LUI for general UI, action duration reminder for skill duration, Srendarr for specific uptime tracking (the blue bars above my hp), JoGroup for group UI, Hodor Reflexes for ultimate and DPS tracking, pChat for chat, Votan's Minimap, Yandir tracker bottom left to track yandir stacks, relentless focus counter for bow proc, dressing room right side next to my ability bar for loadout, cmx above ability bar to track overall group dps and % and GCD bar above that to track global cooldown
There's too much crap that goes on in here how tf the expect the avg players to do this. You can't tell me it's not for the min-max or they wouldn't of Nerf the basic attack damage

Dont think this last boss has enough mechanics. Needs another dozen or so. For balance of course.
Killing all the lost souls will spawn a 800k atro instead of 3.8m

Funny thing I haven't seen a majority of these mechanics during the fight. Maybe a Combat Helper addon could prove it's usefullness...
it really helps, especially when you aren't looking at the boss and he does his fear mechanic

Bro my tank dies from ticks of something like 10 seconds into the fight. How do we clear 1st boss?
