@@iancomtois9832 Unironically, it happens with somewhat disturbing frequency, if you think about it across all shows/games/etc. Like if you put them all in one world, it'd be like 1 out of every 100 people commits random murder while their "true" mind is asleep and the possession spirit has the wheel. Not to mention it HAS to be exhausting never sleeping, e.g. Fight Club.

The four that describe me best are Vor, Xemnas, Xehanort, and Dark Aqua, even though Xion is my favorite. I can sort of insert myself into a similar situation of not wanting to remember something, but ultimately her description is too specific to be me.
I think a better Xion description that fits me is: "You feel your friends forget about you, but you're actually just too depressing for people to want to be around you for too long."

Kingdom Hearts III has this huge theme of atonement and redemptiom and finding the light. I must have earnt the Sora fan title, because I know the awful things Ansem the Wise did, and I still forgive him because he works hard on making things right, making vessels for Roxas and Namine and helping Kairi find clues for Sora.
To be fair somewhat to Ansem, he was clearly not well in the head after spending so long in the Realm of Darkness with only his hope for retribution fueling his will to live. He mellowed out significantly near the end of his revenge quest, when his tunnel vision finally lifted.
He admits his faults and when he was being foolish, even letting himself just die because he made a mistake thinking he understood the equivalent of souls enough to encode them as data.

Me, a Roxas and Xion fan: I have never been more offended by something I completely agree with
Namine, the one who pretends she's innocent through to the very end. Who acts like she can't fix what she did to Repliku only to turn around and agree to fix what she did to Sora seconds later when what she did is the same across both characters in question. Who said callously to Roxas "You were never meant to exist" and to Xion "there won't be any 'you' to remember" (because for whatever reason her clearly stated ability to manipulate memories of those related or associated/connected to/with Sora couldn't keep this girl alive in peoples hearts and memories.
