I have to say that I'm so happy to have watched this video......I think it's one of your best ever. Looking forward now to the next one....Thanks, Heather
My dad made a pig cutting board for my mom years ago and it was well worn and used. They are both passed now and I decoupaged a cute vegetable and script napkin to it and hung it in my kitchen between two chicken plaques my brother made. It’s a sweet reminder of my loved ones. I love how Henry’s tail starts wagging when he sees mama filming him!
*Heather, my favorites are the decoupaged piggie board and the "seed" box; although I would use it for edible floral recipes. 💜🍃🌺 Recipes with rose petals, nasturtiums, squash blossoms, dandelion leaves, mint and violets are delicious❣️😋* *You may wish to try using a brayer on your larger stamps to make sure every part of the stamp comes in contact with the surface you want to stamp and has significant pressure to make a complete imprint to save you from going over the missed part of your stamp a second time. I find a brayer is really helpful❣️😉 Or, you could use a hard plastic scraping tool (like a handleless bowl scraper) to press down your stamp evenly, if that is easier for you. 😉😊💜 Very nice projects today; I'm looking forward to your tutorials next week‼️😎👌🥰*
Great projects! Fun techniques and tips! Knowing that you offer new ideas and inspiration with each video, keeps me excited for the next one! Have a great start to your summer!
I have a pig cutting board similar to yours. I might decoupage it! I’m looking forward to next week. I love the way you painted the flowers and stamped them again.
You never disappoint. The paper used on the pig cutting board is really pretty. The boards with that painting technique are beautiful. I can’t wait to learn how to. Thanks Heather. Have a wonderful Summer with the girls.
I really like the stamp paint stamp technique. You did a plate with that technique a year or so ago and I thought it was one of the prettiest things I’d seen on YT. The one you did in this video is beautiful. I love the decoupage paper on the pig but now it’s harder for me to tell it’s a pig.
This is why I prefer budget friendly DIY channels. Not everyone can afford the pricey stamps and IOD type products or even have money for much of the products you use. I’m a retired disabled veteran, I live on a budget, a tight one. Good luck with your channel tho.
I think these videos are really meant for inspiration and techniques. Acrylic paint and chalk paint from Walmart or even thrift stores or yard sales will work just fine and any stamps will also work. I have IOD stamps and DIY paint but I also have Walmart paint and stamps I have collected over the years that are just the rubber stamps on blocks and this technique works perfectly with those as well. I also use cheap colored pencils or markers to color in my stamps. Hopefully you will stick around and enjoy the fun inspirational content that Heather puts out because it's truly for anyone no matter what your budget is. Don't let your creativity be limited by products. Sometimes, I find I am even more creative when I don't have the exact product that someone is using 😊❤
Thank you so much for your feedback and I truly understand your dilemma! The whole reason I DIY in the first place is not being able to afford retail prices in a lot of situations. I hope that you will still be able to get inspired to create with your surroundings and not let not having a certain product get in your way! 🥰
Thank you! I didn’t even notice that but sometimes when I’m trying to film while creating I don’t get things exactly right cuz my head would be in the way! 🤦🏻♀️
I really love the way you stamped and painted those flowers! So pretty!!! Do you ever use a briar with your stamps? I see some people use their fingers and some use a briar so I'm curious if you know of any pros and cons to either of these methods?
Hey my girlie…. I haven’t watched this video yet, but I wanted to tell you that I’ve noticed you’ve lost a lot of weight lately and you’ve always been beautiful, but you even look happier. Are u doing anything different? Diet? Exercise? Please share… lol help ur girl out!! 😊
I have lost some weight! It has been a process and a number of things working together to get the results that change my ability to be comfortable in my own skin. I think the most significant thing this time around has been my therapy work. I have uncovered some childhood trauma and dealt with my desire to hide in my own body. I am now at the point where I don’t want to cover myself up with weight so I don’t get that kind of attention and it’s a vulnerable place. It’s not perfect but it’s a process and it’s what has helped me!
I have to say that I'm so happy to have watched this video......I think it's one of your best ever. Looking forward now to the next one....Thanks, Heather

@@CreateYourOwnCozy beautuful job with Tara's technique - Veranda is so beautiful!
Another great video! My fave was project 4. Veranda is the best! I’m paint a very feminine desk and using this stamp set.
I’m so glad you got inspired to create a gorgeous desk with this stamp! It’s going to be dreamy!
Great job Heather! I think I need the Veranda stamp!
Yes you do! I wish it didn’t take me so long to open one up! 🤦🏻♀️
I want to do the paint technique on a board. And do a transfer on top. ❤ so I can’t wait!

Amazon has many of these products, just different brands and much cheaper. Items like the IOD stamps are going to last forever though.

Love the technique in project 4 !! It’s a little uneven though that would really bother me

All your projects came out nice, but I am over the decoupage and transfer look. Everybody seems to be doing the same thing.
Well what did you think of the stamp paint stamp technique then?
@@CreateYourOwnCozy For me, it falls into the same category. However, for people who like that style, you do an amazing job at it.
