I blame her husband, Samuel Free, who is also her coach. He is a below average b-boy who shouldn't be coaching, let alone judging any real breakers.
Contrary to circulating misinformation, Dr. Gunn's husband, Raygun's coach, was not a member of the selection panel or judging committee. This would have constituted a conflict of interest, and the Olympics hold strict standards that would never have allowed this to pass.
For transparency, the official lists of judges and officials for the Oceania Breaking Championships (OBC) are publicly available on the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) website.

@@sydtopia1 When breaking was announced as an Olympic sport for 2024 the AOC went to DanceSport Australia who in turn went to Raygun/her husband Samuel Free. Raygun/Samuel Free brought in AUSBreaking to help them organize the breaking qualification process. A $275,000 government grant was given to help them organize the Olympic qualification process. Raygun's husband wanted to represent Australia but due to an alleged leg injury he became a national breaking team coach. Raygun then became their focus of getting to Paris which would make a storybook tale of the PhD Dr Raygun going from academic to Olympian. Money was to be made from books, speaking engagements, movie on her life, and she would become the face of female breaking in Australia all while enhancing her academic profile - a living legend. But it blew up in their faces.

There was no breakdancing board. They just used their existing Ballroom Dancing Board and applied it to Break Dancing because dancing is dancing didn't you know?
