As an 80's kid, I can't overstate the excitement and anticipation of learning that there was going to be a Nintendo cartoon. And this is what we got. This. For many of my generation, Captain N was our introduction to the idea of crushing, bitter disappointment.
I didn't feel that way. As a kid, the Super Mario Bros Super Show was true to the character's likenesses, and then there was a Sonic the Hedgehog TV show, and also Mega Man. They did fairly commendable jobs. Captain N I didn't watch a single episode, because King Hippo looked nothing like the video game character.
Maybe its because I didn't grow up in this era so now I dont have to deal with the Idea that this is the only adaptation of media I enjoy but I quite enjoy it.
I need to have a word with whoever thought it was a good idea to have Mother Brain as the main villain, yet not a single appearance from Samus in the entire show. The Zelda episode was pretty good though

This show is totally worth watching. It's one of those cartoons that is so fascinatingly bad that you have to see it just to know how deep the rabbit hole goes. Every time you think you've seen the pinnacle, they manage to outdo it with something even more ridiculous.

He even teams up with Link from The Legend of Zelda in a couple episodes. And then there's Simon Belmont.

Captain N was in 89 to 91 so all they had was the first 2 Mega Man games to base him off. Plus anime stuff wasn't big in America at that time so he was western animation styled. Finally Capcom did a OVA anime based on him called Rockman: Upon a Star which looked more like the Japanese artwork and probably was more the vision of the game creators.
It's not so much he's strong; it's moreso who he's going up against is incredibly weak. The Megaman in this cartoon can be defeated just by sneezing in his direction.

bad?, it looked like american made artists were designing the box art off games made in america, for capcom which started as a japanese company, megaman 6 is the only box art that made sense befor the X series and apparently megaman 6 isnt a official title or something like the rest.
Box art mega man looks like all the artist was told was the guy's called mega man and he shoots robots in the future. It's alright up until you open the box and find out you were bamboozled by the Japanese.

I love how 90's tv show creators used their own artistic vision when worked with video game adaptations. This is something they call "zero fucks" nowadays.
Can you imagine it? Somewhere, a director and animator had to design this. They then looked at this and went, "Yes, this is good. Cut and print." That's amazing. Step aside Thanos, we have the Cutsman. Thanos snap? More like Cutsman cut.
Ok...so the difference between Cut Man and Cutsman is as simple as this; Cut Man is actually kinda cute in a way, not to mention, has a more threatning weapon (a pair of shears or cleavers pretty much). Cutsman literally has safety scissors glued to his head, and has to like, whip his head around to use said weapon (Cut Man can just throw it). Looks way too human, that voice makes me want to die, oh my god kill it.
The first Vinny animation edit. This is one step closer to the Adventures of Mario and Luigi, a well known Vinesauce series. This has been another huge milestone.
I have two questions: 1) How the fuck can you screw up Cut Man's design so bad? 2) How the fuck do they think there's an 'S' in between 'Cut' and 'Man'?
