ABOUT ME
Hello there! My name is Daniella Perera and I’m an artist and vlogger based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I grew up in Hong Kong and the UK, and I’m of mixed heritage including Chinese, Sri-Lankan, Dutch and Portuguese.
Near the end of 2020, I moved from Kuala Lumpur to Amsterdam with my husband. I have since fallen in love with this city, and I make UA-cam videos (every other weekend) about things to do in Amsterdam and tips to settle in faster. The idea behind 'Pocket Lighthouse' was to shine a light on the above topics, and for this information to be accessible on the go.
One of my long-term goals is to use my creativity (whether that be through art or video) to regularly support organisations helping strays and shelter dogs. Needless to say I absolutely adore dogs.

Hello everyone! Have you visited this museum before in Amsterdam? Do you have a favourite museum here?
We appreciate you taking us around the vicinity. God bless you all.
:)
This was a highlight of my visit to Amsterdam! I found it a fascinating and beautiful museum. Usually I’m not a fan of audio guides but this presentation really worked well. Very nice to see it again through your guide 😊
Hi Christine, thank you for your kind comment here and I'm glad you enjoyed the museum :)
Yes, I have, very beautifull! 👍
Awesome stuff :)
Great video summary, hope you do more of these on the other museums 👏. But it seems like you're not allowed to spend as much time as you want in any particular room? That's a strange limitation I haven't experienced at a museum before (if I understood correctly).
Thank you for your kind comment here and I appreciate it. More museum videos to come! In terms of the time limit, that's the impression I got too! Given that the other rooms rely heavily on the audio paired with visuals, it wasn't really an issue except in the dollhouse room. Might be worth asking if you're visiting.
