Your Dreamstate set was phenomenal. I'm devastated I missed out on the after-party but I was also on 3 hours in a 48 hr span. I'm thinking about getting into producing music so I may try using the Time app and forcing myself into 20hrs a week to discipline myself. Thank you for making these Blogs. Can't wait for you to release the set, you had some fire ID's in there! Glad I was able to give you my elf ears 😅
meeting you was a highlight of the weekend brother! Appreciate ya so much! If you ever have any questions about music production feel free to reach out :)
Thank you so much for sharing your blueprint for getting to where you are today. Crazy to think that you were balancing a career in big law AND this music thing haha The discipline and the accountability - I really admire it and it still shows in the consistency of your videos. Can’t wait to learn more from you :)
Great vid. Balancing the 9-5 and your artist project can definitely feel like ALOT. Obviously it comes down to if you want it bad enough. But more tips and tricks would be so helpful. Thanks man
I’m a financial planner in wealth management and have been producing for the last 7 years all through university. Playing shows for 3 years. Cool to see someone trying to balance both as it’s been super difficult for me. I always feel like I’m giving half effort at both careers. I don’t want to quit either. The mental battles are tough.
I’m pursuing a mechanical engineering degree and also trying to make something out of my music and would love to see a more in depth video on balancing school/work and producing
Hey Taylor - at what point in your music career did you know that it was a good time to quit your job at the law firm? What was the moment where you knew it was “time” and could take that leap knowing you had a good shot? I assume you were making some sort of income from music already, so it wasn’t a complete shot in the dark - but maybe I’m wrong! Would love to hear your input! Cheers mate :)
Not to keep posting here. (Not trying to be annoying lol). Keep doing what you're doing. Instead of looking at where you'd want to be from 5 years ago and in your mind getting close to your goal, there's no failure brother. You just need to take a breath and create the goals of the next 5 years. You're reaching your goals that you made 5 years ago. That's the past. You're here now. The next 5 years need a new set of goals. You'll kill it brother. In 5 years, you'll have another goal of 5 years. etc.
Hey bro, I really appreciate the comment and really engaging with what I'm saying here. Means a lot man. And don't worry, my head is on good and I've got a healthy perspective on where I'm at! Lots of positive fuel here :)
I cannot keep stressing (even if you're not a fan of Taylor's genre) this is a person that defines our love for Electronic Music. It's more than making music. It's a movement. It's a movement of just being a good, positive person. We are all one. Everyone and anyone is welcomed. Music is the universal language of love.
I choose a question from the comments to answer every week. If you want my take on something, ask it below! 👇
