In HP and UK, govt should build roads along river with concrete wall on river sides. Both sides of river should be concrete wall. At least these big rocks from river bed should be aligned along the river side of road. This may reduce the damage and soil erosion. Why they don't do it is a big question given these things are becoming frequent in every monsoon.
