Arcuied is strong and not broken whatsoever where she is really good in Farming and can do Boss fights. She's a well balance strong Unit where she can do a lot of stuff but she can't fight all enemies like Rulers obviously but she is strong where you can bring her to any nodes.

@@alispeed5095 That's why no one likes meta slaves... If they keep releasing meta supports every year, there won't be a game to play. That's not a sustainable practice. Besides, there is a balance amongst the meta supports rn, which each cardtype having only 1 50% battery/50% color boost for 3T for each cards. Quick is missing supplementary supports like Oberon/Merlin/Tamamo but no supplementary support has ever been released on anniversary so expecting a Quick "savior" this Anni was stupid.
Original One was used as a title for Crimson Moon in I think either Tsukihime Remake or Notes. Her reason for having it is to represent her connection as a possible revival method for Brunstead, to manifest in her body, since this is the closest she is to the “Original One”, Crimson Moon.
@@netomoreira3525 Pretty much, yeah. There’s a bunch of conditions for this to even happen, plus more theoretical possibilities that likely won’t be relevant, but the term Vampiric’s a bit off. The bloodsucking nature was a defect of the original true ancestors, something Crimson Moon shouldn’t have, and the third ascension represent a possibility if she never knew the taste of blood, I.e. never drinking Roa’s blood.
The Japanese title is 原初の一、"The One that is the Origin", and I believe refers to her compatibility as a host for the Crimson Moon's will. As her profile states, Altrouge's existence as a second candidate is why she can't fulfill that role, so until that score is settled she'll never fully become Archetype Earth, and it's why the passive is a low D. i.e. even Hime is still gimped and not at the peak potential of what Arceuid could possibly become.

You just described what's wrong with buster meta. Even if you don't have castoria, you still have many other looping options like paracelsus, nero bride etc, eventhough it won't be consistent. For buster, you need koyanskaya of your own and in most cases, a mlb kscope or a max append skill. Plus, you need to max the skills too. My melt can loop at 6/6/6 just for comparison sake. Buster is too much investment
Arcueid can loop without a koyanskaya of your own if you have a mlb kscope and another 50% charger. But her whole selling point is that she can farm with black grail, since her damage is pretty low due to her class
as an np3 haver, she definitely didn't feel in that expectation of a broken servant like other anniversary servants are, but she's still very strong and she's so adorable, that alone makes up all her shortcomings for me edit: np5 haver now

I made a jp acc just for her, pulled with free ~350 sq cuz I signed up late, didn't receive all the rewards. had two double ssrs I believe. she's not gonna have any rate up, even 2 years later, only in gssr and destiny summons. level her up to 120 cuz she absolutely needs it. mooncancer units lack atk. save coins for the last append skill, gonna be the best way you can loop her without atlas. 2 years later she's still my favorite, consistent. np5 absolutely is a game changer
As someone who doesn't have the top tier farmers like Muramasa, Spishtar, SummerKama, Morgan, etc. Getting her to np2 seems like the game is telling me to have a strong farmer. And good thing I have Castoria and Koyanslight
I put some thought on arcueid and i found out that she is the best farmer if you go all in on her meaning np5 level 120 and fous/append skills. Her value lies in scaling of course she will not have the best damage in the game but for farming being able to run CEless plug less and her ascension 2 np being quite fast just like cascu but with SSR numbers
Still think Melusine is a better Buster farmer if you have Koyan and Oberon. Arc tends to fail to kill stuff with slightly above average HP at NP1 if they're not Chaotic (or I guess Man attribute to use Koyan s2) since she is forced to run Atlas if she wants BG, while I never had that issue with Melusine thanks to her higher base atk+Lancer modifier, and ramping damage giving her more overall buffs in wave 3 even discounting Oberon's buffs
Well thats becausw she is. People say nah just because you spend 10s to swap 1 koyans for oberon. But imo thats stupid. Melu is superior on everything. Just everything but those 10s which... idk its a nonsense to think those 10s makes a servant with worst numbers, worst np and more koyan reliant a better servant. Its that simple.
My Arcueid is NP1 and she has difficulty in killing the last wave of ember farming (the highest level one) with double koyanskaya. She can kill it if she has brave chain and even then one of her cards has to be buster, if not, the enemy is left with 500 HP. Just short. Great video, I'm learning a lot. I guess one advice I can offer is write down bullet points if you haven't already.
Well, it's rather common for a servant to not able clear the last neutral wave at np1. You can try using BG tough since arcueid didn't need starting np to be usable
After using her for farming in this past weeks, i can say for sure that she will be my main farming unit from now on. I also have her at NP2 and honestly i dont have any problem with her damage. Mainly because in an event farming nodes, the last enemy with big HP on the 3rd wave are usually servant which sometime have a chaotic alignment or man attributes (i know she doesnt have a bonus damage againts man, but koyans 2nd skill does. Just slap her with double koyans 2nd skill and she can get a total 100% bonus damage againts man for free). I honestly want to roll for another copy of her for more damage, but since im just an f2p, i have to safe my remaining SQ for the new summer event. Hopefully she will get another banner in the future.

Arc feels pretty disappointing for how much people hyped her as a Buster farmer. While on paper she works as a 6 slot no swap Buster farmer, her low damage pretty much necessitates her using Black Grail, and if you want to bring in Plugsuit then you can just use Melusine. She's still good, but I absolutely feel like people got lost in the hype of her release to say she was a god-tier unit.
Same goes with Constantine XI .Dude was so hype , when people starts to critisize His skill set with 0 synergies they start to defend him like thier own child . Now a month later he feel into irrelevance
I think the big thing keeping me from splurging at this exact moment is...I already have an NP5 Cu Caster, who I just think is more flexible. His charges are on lower cooldowns which helps him a lot, his Buster bonus stacks unlike Arceuid etc Arc will have better damage in certain situations (although if you hit the damage range, you hit the damage range) and if you decide to roll for more copies but she doesn't feel like a strong enough upgrade if I'm not going to try to roll for NP2 or higher. This was a really good video overall. Really enjoyed it.
Yeah, she ain't gonna one-up CasCu by much at NP2. If you want to replace CasCu, you're better of going for NP3+ and that is only worth it if you like her character.
Arc would be a must summon for me even without her skills and damage. Been wanting tsukihime servants forever, and now we're finally getting them (maids when lasagnga?) Also, moon cancer is just filled with incredible servants/skills. Mermaid flesh, faceless moon, arcs skill 2, the animations of the cards when they appear, these servants are all insanely stylish.
My opinion on Arcueid is simple She's not broken, but she still is strong in her own right. But none of that matters because she's best fucking girl who should be rolled for regardless (fucking read Tsukihime if you haven't)
Despite how I really expected her to be Godjuna level of Busted she honestly feels balanced in the current state of the game Even with the OP passives, utility, 100 np charge she still feels decent at best
I think "decent" might be selling her a little short. She's not going to pull the numbers that AA or Morgan can dish out, but she's arguably the most flexible farmer in the game right now (perhaps tied with Cu Caster?), and isn't tied to specific teams like the usual meta farmers are. She does require at least some investment before tackling down heavier content though, which might be a point against her.

I pretty much agree with everything here. She is pretty good but not a must roll. Although I have to say she is much more useful for a less developed account. She can clear two waves by her self and then give charge to a second dps. You do not need konyaskya or oberon for that even at np1. Like with those qps nodes you were talking about she cannot kill the 3rd wave so just bring some one who can. Any st Rider with at least 20% charge can np with Arc and another 50% charger. Use your free waver free k scope and your done. We will have to see when actual events come up again but I doubt double dps comps are impratical as you say. All you need is another servant with their second append skill maxed, they can use any ce because you can give them 80% battery. I'd say being able to choose any ce on any suitable servant you want is practical. For the qp node if you want to clear in 3 turns just kill the last wave with Ozy. If you have his append skill you do not even need his 3rd skill. Same amount of free ce slots as before, still 3 servants can use any mystic code and still cleared the quest. Not that impractical.
First i think she is balanced in a way that she need higher np level to be the best farmer. At lower np level, arcuied would struggle some higher hp node. And there are better option but if you invest on her. She could be best but you are right also.
Assuming np2 lv100 and only speaking in terms of 6ce farming.(No black grail) She has the easiest looping requirements but her damage is potato. My normal use for her is as a 1st wave clear and party charger. Arcueid, Morgan(max battery and mana loading) + any dps with 50%battery and max mana loading or any dps+plugsuit oberon has been able to clear pretty much everything ive farmed thus far.
Here’s a hot take: this year’s anniversary was kinda average compared to the last 2 anniversaries anniversaries, like we didn’t even get those boss fights/challenge quest replays, and the Saint Quartz rewards were proportional to how many servants you’d already maxed out and gotten to ascension 4.
definitely not as great as last years. 5th anni was more bare minimum with the only changes was the 30 mp per day and fix command codes. while the quick changes and mighty brave chain were good this year, i don't think it was better than append, lvl 120, free ssr. tons of free quartz is expected for every anni. but you can use all of it of it and not get anything. gameplay changes and mechanics matter more. arc carries this anni.
First impressions are useally blind hype for the most part whenever someone new appears for the most part that isn't a legacy character. People act like a unit is broken. Use them during the event and then never use them again or even remember they exist. Arc isn't that way she's a fine unit. The battery is huge so she'll be like cu caster and be above general use for farming. But I honestly wish people could take a second to actually read the kit before making a final decision. How I process things is long term on what will be helpful and what will go back in the archive.
@@kyshowman6847 can't. I don't have any of the things to make videos with and my phone I play on na on is ancient. So I instead use what I do have with comments to make skits stories and my thoughts on story kits and anything else. It works as I get a good deal of feedback that is positive
I agree, people get caught up in hype a lot when it comes to looking at new Servants. There are certainly strong new Servants released, but for instance I think Space Ishtar + Castoria is still the best general farming team even with Servants like the Koyanskayas, Morgan, and now Arcueid existing (though obviously they're all still very good and among the best in the game).
@@bluess1508 sorry for the late response. UA-cam didn't message me. Yeah with space Ishtar she is the exception to meta as she can't be stopped with whatever comes next she just gets better. Arc the battery is honestly her biggest thing making her stand out for ssr but that's it. Her damage is low power without extra pulls but by then anyone is good enough if you go for the extra work.
I quite like the comps with Arc for wave 1, and another dps using her charge + a support to do wave 2 and 3, purely for the comfort of not needing plug or to borrow specific supports, being able to just grab first from the list is comfy
I thought the video format was great! You came across as clear, knowledgeable and overall easy to follow. I have her at NP3 with a bonus grail and she still has some blatant damage issues when not using BG. That said I agree that for general farming she’s great and super flexible. I think I prefer Morgan overall but I’ll keep using Arcuied until the new toy syndrome wears off lol
Np5 Arc here. No regrets. Honestly if you got the tools and give investment, she's premier for farming. Also I'm looking forward to using her bond ce in some of the multi dps comps
I do felt a bit down when I see that her Steroids Numbers are pretty standards outside of her Passive which theoretically can stay up 100% of the time. The NP Damage could've been a 30-50% to compensate the massive cooldown for the battery, and of course, Funny Vamp that doesn't charge her own NP Gauge. She's an Anni Servant, a hype one and a powerful one lorewise, so I feel like they should just disregard balancing with her, they already did enough with that by making her a Moon Cancer. but then again, maybe that's just me

I don't think they are able to show her true power correctly because first she is very difficult to kill lore wise, but they didn't show it correctly. Second her ultimate one passive skill doesn't work like thst instead it increases her power against a enemy by making her even more powerful than them. Ofcourse, because she is servant, she is weakened but i still think they can do something to solve it like giving her 1.5x or 2.0x damage against everyone including rulers (yeah 2.0x is kinda broken but atleast 1.5x times would be really fine because of her less damage). Third, she should have a way to increase her damage overtime like melusine's buster up or arjuna alter like 3 turn buster resistance. Because her base np damage isn't less actually. It is exactly similar to space ishtar and melusine. But they increases their np damage overtime. At third turn, they themself have 60% buster up in melusine case and 60% to 80% np for space ishtar case.
Honestly the only thing that really gimps her is her class. MoonCancer is just a weak class and I don't even know why she's summoned as a MoonCancer. Yes, she's the literal moon, but come on, she's got nothing to with S.E.R.A.P.H at all.

Hot Takes: They should buff Arc's skill 1 to seal NPs too. This eas it doesn't feel pike you're losing for using the skill seal. Just like ehat Tamlin Tristan has. Her Invulnerability should be 3 hits. This was its effectively a 1 turn invulnerability Her Breathe of the Planet should have a huge heal that is equal to or greater than Enkidu's. Especially since both Servants use the Breath of the Planet to power themselves up among other things. And its thematic since basically a vampire; a suoer strong one at that too. She needs an aoe NP drain since she's supposed to be a vampire.
Tried out a comp with Morgan (NP3), Arcueid (NP2) and Oberon with no CE, and it works like a charm for casual farming. I'll have to see if that can go the distance in beefier 90+ nodes. To me, Arcueid's biggest selling point is that her flexibility opens up a lot of team ideas that aren't relying on doubling up on Koyanskaya or Oberon. As someone who failed to get either of them, that's invaluable.

I don’t think this is a hot take just a very balanced and logical evaluation of this servant’s abilities. I like the sentiment that not every anniversary servant needs to be game changing, honestly the game can’t really change that much at this point anyway. It’s a reality that if you’ve played this game for long enough there’s always a servant better at something than Arcueid but her animations are cool and that’s good enough for me. Still, sucks to get someone for anniversary that I’ll use for a week and leave at bonds 5 forever but that happens for most releases at this point.
It seems she’s probably the quintessential Buster neutral farmer for whales/dolphins able to get her NP2+ and if you want to farm any and everything probably more like NP4 at least. I think arts will be better in general at farming but when it comes to high HP for all 3 waves Buster is better and her normals should be decent by the third wave enough to kill anything big.
Arc is crazy. Just crazy. She has the best loop specs in the entire game; capable of theoretically farming everything plugless at 6CE/5CE. That's insane. No other servant has that except premier Arts, who can no longer do that once the enemy count drops and CasCu who is held back by 3* stats and 0.9x offensive modifier. You need NP5 120 to farm at 6CE but there are certain instances you can make up for it by running BG and 5CE setups or using VOO to clear at 6CEs. Her damage is kinda on the lower end but she her flexibility in setups means you can tweak it to ensure she clears. And this is only considering single DPS setups. She also has a crazy Arc/Oberon/[Any 50% charger with targetable/AE 20% battery] (ex. Morgan and Jaqcues, though Morgan or any Buster servant is preferable to benefit from Oberon's Buster up on W3). That's a triloop setup you can run using your servants alone WITH ANY MC (as long as Arc's append is unlocked), meaning you no longer need to pick specific servants with the specific CEs of your FL, saving a huge amount of time. Granted, it's kinda expensive as you need at least NP2+ Arc and NP4+ Morgan. In stall, she's absolutely a beast. She's a 50% charger for living human allies, meaning that she can get supports like Waver, Reines and Mash to NP on her own. She has buff removal immune Invuln, which means she's gimmick immune to a certain extent. While her stall isn't as broken as the Merlin/Morgan/Castoria shell, it's easily one of the best stall setups in the game. Arc is insane. She's not a servant that causes a paradigm shift in the meta like previous Anni servants, but she's quite easily the best farmer in the game.
The way I view Arc is she's like the french toast of Servant, in that she's perfectly fine and good even with minimal investment and commitment into making her a good unit. Go all out for her, though, like garnishing her with Grails, Gold Fous, and extra copies of herself? She becomes THE indisputable best farmer in the game in terms of flexibility, as she become Cu Caster but Better in all that she does, able to 6 Slot Drop anything short of Ruler Waves or the most blatantly unfair of nodes without mandatory plugsuit usage. Melusine and/or Maou Nobu may beat her out in terms of damage, but she can still do a decent enough job _without_ MORE powerful supports and swaps if one's powerful enough to make up for her relatively low ATK. She's also phenomenal in hybrid attack set-up precisely because of her Instant-NP and NP Charge Support wombo-combo, letting less developed account or the most enterpernuing Masters to find ways to use her to great effect while potentially still having freedom over CEs, and perhaps even the MC too. It's hardly her most ideal use case, but it's one not a lot of other Servants can do so it should be noted! On a last note, I also like how while she is clearly stronger than Summer BB in some aspects, Arc doesn't entirely powercreep them out of existence. Beach Babe still is the queen of Gogh Comps , Card Locking is exclusive to her, and Raw Crit and Buff Power under Double Koyan is still excellent even if it does require Superscope, so those that heavily invest into the best kouhai don't have to feel like they've been left in the dust.
I just tried the QP node with my NP2 arcueid(lv110, 2k fous) WITHOUT any CE and she killed the last wave ganesha with np o.o, swaped in Edison for the CD reduction and lvl5 new chaldea mystic code, she did 158.7K damage and ganesha has 132k so it's consistent
Gotta say she is a blessing to my F2P JP account, while I did have Morgan and Koyan, I didn't have much else, especially CE wise. I COULD farm with Morgan but sometimes damage at NP1 wasn't enough. Arc however, even at lower damage, made things a lot easier on my account... Until she decided to be NP4 in around 300sq when rolling for Xu Fu coins so now damage is no longer an issue I suppose. Definitely worth the investment though if you can get as you said NP2 or above, even just for the 100% battery. I'd have loved to test NP1/2 6 slotting but due to no CEs I couldn't really and no events obviously, but with a (non-MLB) Black Grail at NP1, she did not have that damage for Doors, but it was mostly close and NP2 always hits the damage with it. She has made things so braindead easy, and I can now retire the method of swapping servants, even if that does mean also retiring the Summer Kama team for most things since it was a pain when you don't have your own Castoria. Please no one ask about my Xu Fu coin count, I don't wanna talk about it....
Honestly she's a well balanced servant and a great anniversary servant. What I think makes a good anni servant is great visuals and something fresh. Her animations and field change mechanic fit those two things, and she's a fan favorite, so in the department, she's great. As a servant, she has a lot of nice skills and potential, but she isn't broken to the point you can just steamroll anything with her. Its a nice change of pace from past anniversaries. A character that you won't regret pulling, but that you also won't regret skipping.
I might sound a bit silly but if final turn damage is a issue you can just use the 2nd skill, use whatever face card then start the farm after that. It might be 4t but you will have double koyans, Black Grail and Oberon with the new plugsuit. If that's not enough i don't know what is
Her niche it's not a small one, there are 134 Chaotic servant right now, and with time will be more She is a very solid servant, a very good option especially if you dont have a main buster farmer
The main issue I find is that well even with Black Grails she actually can't consistently kill most 90+s unless she's np3(I've run using calcs and multiple sites as well as my own with the damage formula), this is of course even worse than you try to 6s..in fact she performs better with a plug and your usual AD than with a BG and then when you compare her to Morgan and co in similar circumstances she loses out
I went close to pity for this lady but didn’t care because I was rolling for Xu Fu, all I’m going to say as a budding FGO JP player is that she feels like David with some more utility? I don’t prioritize 3T farming but I have a feeling that I’ll be able to do so quite easily with her and F2P units if I allow some CE freedom (which I don’t care about rn because there’s hardly any CE’s I have to need freedom, lol) And she synergizes with Mash fairly well for challenging content. Aside from the pseudo-servant charge, all taunts synergize with single hit survivability with extended durations. It’s kinda basic gameplay-wise but I like it enough that I thought she was as much worth summoning for as Daikokuten. And I liked Daikokuten a lot.
Great video. Tbh I still consider Melusine to be the prime buster farmer. Six slotting is extremely important to me and Arcueid isn't amazing in that area. Hopefully there will be a future servant like Koyanskaya that will also reduce skill cooldowns and provide big buffs as well.
Not really. Meluko is tied to a plugsuit and need similar loop specs (NP3+) at 6CE. If you want 6CEs and don't mind the plugsuit, Arc can run 6CEs with VV+Edison or VOO depending on whether you need W2 or W3 damage. So, both Arc and Meluko are roughly equivalent in 6CE department. What puts Arc above Meluko is the plugless flexibility and ability to triloop with double DPS setups. Arc's #1 in the entire game at that, tbh. She's expensive, but at that level she's #1.
@@kun2588 I agree that Melusine is tied behind plugsuit but Arcueid damage is no where near Melusine when plugsuiting. And this is mainly because Melusine can actually make use of Oberon when six slotting so her W3 damage will naturally be higher. Her W1 and W2 damage will always be higher since she has more damage steroids. Arceuids damage is still mediocre when plugsuiting which is disappointing while Melusines damage skyrockets so they have no where near "similar loop specs." Also, every looper is expensive. You'll need to get a couple of copies to loop properly so I don't see that as an argument.
@@inderpreetsingh214 No, Meluko doesn't outdamage Arc as easily as you say she does. And Arc has more damage steroids than Meluko on W1 and W2. The following are the NP1 6CE numbers for the two with VV only. Meluko lv.90 NP1 39.6k, 43.2k Arc lv.90 NP1 48.6k, 42.2k Arc also has the option of stacking her S1 on T2 if your running 6CE plugless using Atlas MC on T2 which brings her T2 damage up to 58.3k. So, no she doesn't outdamage Arc cleanly. Now obviously a plug farmer is going to outdamage a plugless farmer on W3. However, If you're not averse to using the plugsuit (as you should be since you're advocating for Meluko) Arc can 6slot w. VOO and her damage is within competitive range of Meluko's W3 damage. It's about ~6k short, but honestly that's more than enough to clear for both of them if you're considering NP3+ as their minimum loop spec. But that is all honestly irrelevant. Farming isn't about a pissing contest. It isn't "oh, my Buster AE can hit more overkill that yours". From a functional perspective, most of the damage Meluko provides (specially on W3) is waay more than necessary. There are other aspects to farming as I will mention below. When I say expensive, I'm talking about party cost. Arc requires multiple NP copies to work, so she's an expensive quartz investment herself. However, her farming setups are much more flexible on party cost enabling insane backline flexibility in terms of farming bond and slotting event CEs. Meluko can only slot 5* CEs if you're above Master level 150 and even then it's when your running Mash and 1* CE holders, so you can't farm bond with other servants. Oh, and plugless is > plugsuit for other obvious reasons.
@@kun2588 She does and here are my calcs. I am using the maketakunai's damage calculator. Both Melusine and Arcueid are level 90 NP1 and regular fou'd. And they are both considered to be running double koyan. Melusine: W1 - 57.3k // W2 - 62.4k Arceuid: W1 - 53.9k // W2 - 46.8k And this damage difference will only increase the more you invest in either servant. I am not considering using Atlas and stacking her S1 on T2 since Arcueid needs as much damage as she can get on W3 since its already so low with Atlas. On W3, forget about it. Melusine's buffs scale so well with Oberon that there is a very large difference no matter who you plugsuit with Arcueid. Not sure how you got that math but if I had to guess, you didn't consider fous. Its important to consider all the buffs since math is always linear when calc'ing np damage. And I agree that at a certain point damage doesn't matter but for Arcueid it really does. Her damage is really low especially when using Atlas and 6 slotting. If you want to farm 90+ nodes, this damage problem will become much more apparent. She can't be super flexible if she can only kill waves in certain situations. If you're okay with not 6 slotting and using a BG then sure she becomes the best servant in the game for you. But for minmaxers, she isn't the best. And I disagree that plugless is always better than plugsuit. 90+ nodes still exist and most of the time require you to use a plugsuit. If you want to do 6 slotting with Arcueid, she has to be extremely hyper invested for her to properly farm waves and even then she still needs plugsuit to do good damage. I agree that plugless has it merits but it also has its limitations.
@@inderpreetsingh214 Yeah, I don't know how you pulled those numbers. I've used the same calculator and plugged the same conditions and quoted the numbers in my previous comment. I've run it thrice now to make sure and received the same results. I don't know what you're doing wrong. Just to make sure that I'm not missing any buffs, Meluko hits W1 with 120% Buster up and 40% attack up whereas Arc hits at 130% Buster up, 30% Attack up, 20% NP damage up and 20% def down. Nothing more, nothing less. I've accounted for 1k fous asw. Hell, even your Arc numbers are bigger than the ones I pulled. The point is that Arc *can* run plugless at 6CE efficiency; Meluko can't. An Omnifarmer doesn't just mean a servant that can clear 90+, it means a servant that can farm every node in the game as the prefix "omni-" implies. And Arc is superior at that; Meluko has only one setup which is plug and relies on a huge party cost whereas Arc can clear certain nodes at 6CE efficiency while still providing luxuries such as more backline slots to farm bond and flexibility with CEs. The gatekeep for Meluko's 6CE farming is party cost. Below master level 150, it is impossible for her to slot 6 5*CEs. Above that she can't farm bond for anyone. Her farming is rigid and inefficient from a secondary benefit perspective. No, my point with stacking Arcs damage on W2 is that in certain nodes the W2 boss is beefier than the W1 one. For example, that Nightingale christmas rerun 90+ node, that had a ~150k mob on W2 while having a 3 mobs on W3 with the largest one being ~100k. I remember it clearly because it was a lotto event that was really hard to minmax. Arc is so flexible, you can bend her to meet the requirements of each node while still having decent enough efficiency and performance. In terms of plug 6-slot efficiency, Arc and Meluko are roughly equal. The W3 damage of Arc in her best plug setup (VOO) is comparable to that of Meluko. In fact, an argument can be made that Arc is superior to Meluko at this because she's never at class disadvantage, but I will set that aside. There are two aspects of min-maxing; one is drop efficiency and the other is time efficiency. Arc clearly wins in the latter as she's capable of dropping one slot in favor of a damage CE to plugless clear any node at NP2 even and has a shorter NP animation in her second ascension. In the case of the former, they're roughly equal. Also the rigidity of Meluko's farming requirements to triloop anything (plugsuit and 2 native SSRs) can cause a bottleneck in her 6CE setups in terms of party cost. Also, Arc's farming setups aren't limited to Koyan alone. An ML unlocked Arc can run Morgan/Arc/Oberon which is a 6CE setup without any major native meta support or reliance on MC. Granted, you need high NP levels on both Morgan and Arc to do decent damage. Look at those setups, there are quite a few vids on them in UA-cam. They're indubitably the best at clearing dailies and (depending on investment into your Morgan) can be used in even 90+ event nodes. Plugless, when possible is always superior to plug at the same drop efficiency. And Meluko will never provide that. It's the only asterisk on her as a farmer. I was of the opinion that Meluko was the best farmer in the game due to her consistency but after seeing the sheer versatility and flexibility that Arc offers to tackle different nodes, I cannot in good conscience say that Meluko is superior to Arc. I can see an argument saying that Meluko is equal to Arc in terms of farming from a drop efficiency perspective (even though I'll question their comparative performance in such setups) but I can't see one that says that Meluko is better than Arc.

If you are gonna say "but she does fine in medium diff nodes" then so does a multitude of servants. Getting Oberon is infinitely better than another Arc since he isnt restricted to Melu but a lot of servants will benefit from him.

you only need np5, 120, max fou and lmb bg to deal with farming any nodes regardless of level (with dks ofc). jokes aside... arc really need high investment level to do her job effectively (atleast np3 so you can reach lvl120 for the extra stat which she absolutely needed) if only her rainbow passive stack with each other....... 60% rainbow buff uhhhgg....
I'll be honest Arcueid coming into FGO convinced me to start reading Tsukihime and so far i'm liking it. I have been planning on reading it for a while with the remake being released it made me want to read it a little more but since Arcueid came in to made me more interested. I am at the early stages of the VN hopefully I will have to the time to do it. Because right now I have two jobs one on the weekdays and the other on the weekends. my weekend job is shorter ours but its a fifty fifty on what days I will work there
I agree with the pros and cons stated in the video but I dont get why people are hyping over not needing to use plugsuit. Using Atlas MC is a must if you want to loop her using BG unless im missing something. Being stuck with Atlas MC is even worst than being stuck with plugsuit. Also being able to use BG to reach decent damage is quite a bad thing since it means she needs a fat NP% to make her good while Junao will easily outdamage her with a normal buster CE. Sure her class advantage damage is high but how often can she abuse it? Everyone else abuses zerker class as well. Junao is still the best buster farming servant for me.
Bc plug suit is slow and another support will be tied down and you cant bond another servant instead. Its all about optimization, if you dont mind its not a big deal

@@Sacri1ege I never had a problem with cleaering the last node of daily farm quests with her and double koyan just use the star bombs at the last wave she may not kill with np alone but the after crits will finish the job
@@nechocat1234 Yea i am aware that you can clear last wave by using her S1 at the last wave and/or using star bombs. My issue there is what if she was used for other nodes with similar or slightly higher HP would she still be able to clear then. An example would be the QP Caster Jinako, what if RNG screws us over and gives all facecard to koyan who is disadvantaged. Sure koyan could still finish her off if she only has abit of HP left, but if its for slightly higher HP? Also, using her S1 at W3 will hurt her damage in S2. Personally, i would much prefer if a servants NP could straight kill the enemy as it removes the RNG factor, dont think anyone likes farming when the last wave is always left with abit of HP.
Ironically, she can farm with double koyanskaya plugless, but she can't farm with double koyanskaya oberon. I don't think you can seriously call her the premier buster looper when melusine exists. Yes, arc doesn't require plug like melusine, but arc's damage without plug is so low that she can't farm hard nodes unless if they are chaotic. But even if you DO use plug with arcueid; you have to run double oberon, which means that her wave 1 and 2 damage will be quite bad, and even her wave 3 damage is far behind someone like Melusine.
I don't know where you got that Arc does less damage in triple DPS comps than VVX comps even a single Oberon can make her outdamsge the later in the former and she does respectable damage for reference assuming a 6 slot she'll do 165k at NP5 neutral compared to the 171k she does with Oberon at NP2 mind you. The only time I think its worth to VVX with her is when she is either facing a chaotic enemy or if you are 5 sloting with black grail
Her survivability and soloing capability is irrelevant to me because I only intend to use her for farming. She doesn't need to be the best at everything.

Arcuied is strong and not broken whatsoever where she is really good in Farming and can do Boss fights. She's a well balance strong Unit where she can do a lot of stuff but she can't fight all enemies like Rulers obviously but she is strong where you can bring her to any nodes.

Besides, there is a balance amongst the meta supports rn, which each cardtype having only 1 50% battery/50% color boost for 3T for each cards. Quick is missing supplementary supports like Oberon/Merlin/Tamamo but no supplementary support has ever been released on anniversary so expecting a Quick "savior" this Anni was stupid.

Original One was used as a title for Crimson Moon in I think either Tsukihime Remake or Notes.
Her reason for having it is to represent her connection as a possible revival method for Brunstead, to manifest in her body, since this is the closest she is to the “Original One”, Crimson Moon.

The bloodsucking nature was a defect of the original true ancestors, something Crimson Moon shouldn’t have, and the third ascension represent a possibility if she never knew the taste of blood, I.e. never drinking Roa’s blood.
The Japanese title is 原初の一、"The One that is the Origin", and I believe refers to her compatibility as a host for the Crimson Moon's will. As her profile states, Altrouge's existence as a second candidate is why she can't fulfill that role, so until that score is settled she'll never fully become Archetype Earth, and it's why the passive is a low D. i.e. even Hime is still gimped and not at the peak potential of what Arceuid could possibly become.

You just described what's wrong with buster meta. Even if you don't have castoria, you still have many other looping options like paracelsus, nero bride etc, eventhough it won't be consistent. For buster, you need koyanskaya of your own and in most cases, a mlb kscope or a max append skill. Plus, you need to max the skills too. My melt can loop at 6/6/6 just for comparison sake. Buster is too much investment
Arcueid can loop without a koyanskaya of your own if you have a mlb kscope and another 50% charger. But her whole selling point is that she can farm with black grail, since her damage is pretty low due to her class

I made a jp acc just for her, pulled with free ~350 sq cuz I signed up late, didn't receive all the rewards. had two double ssrs I believe. she's not gonna have any rate up, even 2 years later, only in gssr and destiny summons. level her up to 120 cuz she absolutely needs it. mooncancer units lack atk. save coins for the last append skill, gonna be the best way you can loop her without atlas. 2 years later she's still my favorite, consistent. np5 absolutely is a game changer

As someone who doesn't have the top tier farmers like Muramasa, Spishtar, SummerKama, Morgan, etc. Getting her to np2 seems like the game is telling me to have a strong farmer. And good thing I have Castoria and Koyanslight

I put some thought on arcueid and i found out that she is the best farmer if you go all in on her meaning np5 level 120 and fous/append skills. Her value lies in scaling of course she will not have the best damage in the game but for farming being able to run CEless plug less and her ascension 2 np being quite fast just like cascu but with SSR numbers
Still think Melusine is a better Buster farmer if you have Koyan and Oberon. Arc tends to fail to kill stuff with slightly above average HP at NP1 if they're not Chaotic (or I guess Man attribute to use Koyan s2) since she is forced to run Atlas if she wants BG, while I never had that issue with Melusine thanks to her higher base atk+Lancer modifier, and ramping damage giving her more overall buffs in wave 3 even discounting Oberon's buffs
Well thats becausw she is. People say nah just because you spend 10s to swap 1 koyans for oberon. But imo thats stupid. Melu is superior on everything. Just everything but those 10s which... idk its a nonsense to think those 10s makes a servant with worst numbers, worst np and more koyan reliant a better servant. Its that simple.

My Arcueid is NP1 and she has difficulty in killing the last wave of ember farming (the highest level one) with double koyanskaya. She can kill it if she has brave chain and even then one of her cards has to be buster, if not, the enemy is left with 500 HP. Just short.

Well, it's rather common for a servant to not able clear the last neutral wave at np1. You can try using BG tough since arcueid didn't need starting np to be usable

After using her for farming in this past weeks, i can say for sure that she will be my main farming unit from now on. I also have her at NP2 and honestly i dont have any problem with her damage. Mainly because in an event farming nodes, the last enemy with big HP on the 3rd wave are usually servant which sometime have a chaotic alignment or man attributes (i know she doesnt have a bonus damage againts man, but koyans 2nd skill does. Just slap her with double koyans 2nd skill and she can get a total 100% bonus damage againts man for free).
I honestly want to roll for another copy of her for more damage, but since im just an f2p, i have to safe my remaining SQ for the new summer event. Hopefully she will get another banner in the future.

Arc feels pretty disappointing for how much people hyped her as a Buster farmer. While on paper she works as a 6 slot no swap Buster farmer, her low damage pretty much necessitates her using Black Grail, and if you want to bring in Plugsuit then you can just use Melusine. She's still good, but I absolutely feel like people got lost in the hype of her release to say she was a god-tier unit.
Same goes with Constantine XI .Dude was so hype , when people starts to critisize His skill set with 0 synergies they start to defend him like thier own child . Now a month later he feel into irrelevance

I think the big thing keeping me from splurging at this exact moment is...I already have an NP5 Cu Caster, who I just think is more flexible. His charges are on lower cooldowns which helps him a lot, his Buster bonus stacks unlike Arceuid etc Arc will have better damage in certain situations (although if you hit the damage range, you hit the damage range) and if you decide to roll for more copies but she doesn't feel like a strong enough upgrade if I'm not going to try to roll for NP2 or higher.

Yeah, she ain't gonna one-up CasCu by much at NP2. If you want to replace CasCu, you're better of going for NP3+ and that is only worth it if you like her character.

Also, moon cancer is just filled with incredible servants/skills. Mermaid flesh, faceless moon, arcs skill 2, the animations of the cards when they appear, these servants are all insanely stylish.

My opinion on Arcueid is simple
She's not broken, but she still is strong in her own right. But none of that matters because she's best fucking girl who should be rolled for regardless (fucking read Tsukihime if you haven't)
Despite how I really expected her to be Godjuna level of Busted she honestly feels balanced in the current state of the game

I think "decent" might be selling her a little short. She's not going to pull the numbers that AA or Morgan can dish out, but she's arguably the most flexible farmer in the game right now (perhaps tied with Cu Caster?), and isn't tied to specific teams like the usual meta farmers are.
She does require at least some investment before tackling down heavier content though, which might be a point against her.

I pretty much agree with everything here. She is pretty good but not a must roll. Although I have to say she is much more useful for a less developed account. She can clear two waves by her self and then give charge to a second dps. You do not need konyaskya or oberon for that even at np1. Like with those qps nodes you were talking about she cannot kill the 3rd wave so just bring some one who can. Any st Rider with at least 20% charge can np with Arc and another 50% charger. Use your free waver free k scope and your done. We will have to see when actual events come up again but I doubt double dps comps are impratical as you say. All you need is another servant with their second append skill maxed, they can use any ce because you can give them 80% battery. I'd say being able to choose any ce on any suitable servant you want is practical. For the qp node if you want to clear in 3 turns just kill the last wave with Ozy. If you have his append skill you do not even need his 3rd skill. Same amount of free ce slots as before, still 3 servants can use any mystic code and still cleared the quest. Not that impractical.
First i think she is balanced in a way that she need higher np level to be the best farmer. At lower np level, arcuied would struggle some higher hp node. And there are better option but if you invest on her. She could be best but you are right also.

She has the easiest looping requirements but her damage is potato.
My normal use for her is as a 1st wave clear and party charger.
Arcueid, Morgan(max battery and mana loading) + any dps with 50%battery and max mana loading or any dps+plugsuit oberon has been able to clear pretty much everything ive farmed thus far.

Here’s a hot take: this year’s anniversary was kinda average compared to the last 2 anniversaries anniversaries, like we didn’t even get those boss fights/challenge quest replays, and the Saint Quartz rewards were proportional to how many servants you’d already maxed out and gotten to ascension 4.
definitely not as great as last years. 5th anni was more bare minimum with the only changes was the 30 mp per day and fix command codes.
while the quick changes and mighty brave chain were good this year, i don't think it was better than append, lvl 120, free ssr.
tons of free quartz is expected for every anni. but you can use all of it of it and not get anything. gameplay changes and mechanics matter more.
arc carries this anni.
First impressions are useally blind hype for the most part whenever someone new appears for the most part that isn't a legacy character. People act like a unit is broken. Use them during the event and then never use them again or even remember they exist.
Arc isn't that way she's a fine unit. The battery is huge so she'll be like cu caster and be above general use for farming.
But I honestly wish people could take a second to actually read the kit before making a final decision. How I process things is long term on what will be helpful and what will go back in the archive.

I agree, people get caught up in hype a lot when it comes to looking at new Servants. There are certainly strong new Servants released, but for instance I think Space Ishtar + Castoria is still the best general farming team even with Servants like the Koyanskayas, Morgan, and now Arcueid existing (though obviously they're all still very good and among the best in the game).

Yeah with space Ishtar she is the exception to meta as she can't be stopped with whatever comes next she just gets better.
Arc the battery is honestly her biggest thing making her stand out for ssr but that's it. Her damage is low power without extra pulls but by then anyone is good enough if you go for the extra work.

I quite like the comps with Arc for wave 1, and another dps using her charge + a support to do wave 2 and 3, purely for the comfort of not needing plug or to borrow specific supports, being able to just grab first from the list is comfy

I have her at NP3 with a bonus grail and she still has some blatant damage issues when not using BG. That said I agree that for general farming she’s great and super flexible. I think I prefer Morgan overall but I’ll keep using Arcuied until the new toy syndrome wears off lol

I do felt a bit down when I see that her Steroids Numbers are pretty standards outside of her Passive which theoretically can stay up 100% of the time. The NP Damage could've been a 30-50% to compensate the massive cooldown for the battery, and of course, Funny Vamp that doesn't charge her own NP Gauge. She's an Anni Servant, a hype one and a powerful one lorewise, so I feel like they should just disregard balancing with her, they already did enough with that by making her a Moon Cancer. but then again, maybe that's just me

I don't think they are able to show her true power correctly because first she is very difficult to kill lore wise, but they didn't show it correctly.
Second her ultimate one passive skill doesn't work like thst instead it increases her power against a enemy by making her even more powerful than them. Ofcourse, because she is servant, she is weakened but i still think they can do something to solve it like giving her 1.5x or 2.0x damage against everyone including rulers (yeah 2.0x is kinda broken but atleast 1.5x times would be really fine because of her less damage). Third, she should have a way to increase her damage overtime like melusine's buster up or arjuna alter like 3 turn buster resistance. Because her base np damage isn't less actually. It is exactly similar to space ishtar and melusine. But they increases their np damage overtime. At third turn, they themself have 60% buster up in melusine case and 60% to 80% np for space ishtar case.
Honestly the only thing that really gimps her is her class. MoonCancer is just a weak class and I don't even know why she's summoned as a MoonCancer. Yes, she's the literal moon, but come on, she's got nothing to with S.E.R.A.P.H at all.

Basically Invis & np bat for team, herself w np dmg up(IIRC), debuff and atk up... Pretty much all rounded character... Classic jack of all trades.. Strong but not that Broken... She's fine overall...

Her Breathe of the Planet should have a huge heal that is equal to or greater than Enkidu's. Especially since both Servants use the Breath of the Planet to power themselves up among other things. And its thematic since basically a vampire; a suoer strong one at that too.
She needs an aoe NP drain since she's supposed to be a vampire.
Tried out a comp with Morgan (NP3), Arcueid (NP2) and Oberon with no CE, and it works like a charm for casual farming. I'll have to see if that can go the distance in beefier 90+ nodes.
To me, Arcueid's biggest selling point is that her flexibility opens up a lot of team ideas that aren't relying on doubling up on Koyanskaya or Oberon. As someone who failed to get either of them, that's invaluable.
Koyanskaya of Darkness is still the premier Buster farmer, she can also do Black Grail/6 slotting with the triple Koyanskaya comp.

She's very good but I think not as broken as I would have expected.
I don’t think this is a hot take just a very balanced and logical evaluation of this servant’s abilities. I like the sentiment that not every anniversary servant needs to be game changing, honestly the game can’t really change that much at this point anyway. It’s a reality that if you’ve played this game for long enough there’s always a servant better at something than Arcueid but her animations are cool and that’s good enough for me. Still, sucks to get someone for anniversary that I’ll use for a week and leave at bonds 5 forever but that happens for most releases at this point.
Opinions of an Above Average Temperature
It seems she’s probably the quintessential Buster neutral farmer for whales/dolphins able to get her NP2+ and if you want to farm any and everything probably more like NP4 at least. I think arts will be better in general at farming but when it comes to high HP for all 3 waves Buster is better and her normals should be decent by the third wave enough to kill anything big.
Arc is crazy. Just crazy. She has the best loop specs in the entire game; capable of theoretically farming everything plugless at 6CE/5CE. That's insane. No other servant has that except premier Arts, who can no longer do that once the enemy count drops and CasCu who is held back by 3* stats and 0.9x offensive modifier. You need NP5 120 to farm at 6CE but there are certain instances you can make up for it by running BG and 5CE setups or using VOO to clear at 6CEs. Her damage is kinda on the lower end but she her flexibility in setups means you can tweak it to ensure she clears.
And this is only considering single DPS setups. She also has a crazy Arc/Oberon/[Any 50% charger with targetable/AE 20% battery] (ex. Morgan and Jaqcues, though Morgan or any Buster servant is preferable to benefit from Oberon's Buster up on W3). That's a triloop setup you can run using your servants alone WITH ANY MC (as long as Arc's append is unlocked), meaning you no longer need to pick specific servants with the specific CEs of your FL, saving a huge amount of time. Granted, it's kinda expensive as you need at least NP2+ Arc and NP4+ Morgan.
In stall, she's absolutely a beast. She's a 50% charger for living human allies, meaning that she can get supports like Waver, Reines and Mash to NP on her own. She has buff removal immune Invuln, which means she's gimmick immune to a certain extent. While her stall isn't as broken as the Merlin/Morgan/Castoria shell, it's easily one of the best stall setups in the game.
Arc is insane. She's not a servant that causes a paradigm shift in the meta like previous Anni servants, but she's quite easily the best farmer in the game.
The way I view Arc is she's like the french toast of Servant, in that she's perfectly fine and good even with minimal investment and commitment into making her a good unit. Go all out for her, though, like garnishing her with Grails, Gold Fous, and extra copies of herself? She becomes THE indisputable best farmer in the game in terms of flexibility, as she become Cu Caster but Better in all that she does, able to 6 Slot Drop anything short of Ruler Waves or the most blatantly unfair of nodes without mandatory plugsuit usage. Melusine and/or Maou Nobu may beat her out in terms of damage, but she can still do a decent enough job _without_ MORE powerful supports and swaps if one's powerful enough to make up for her relatively low ATK.
She's also phenomenal in hybrid attack set-up precisely because of her Instant-NP and NP Charge Support wombo-combo, letting less developed account or the most enterpernuing Masters to find ways to use her to great effect while potentially still having freedom over CEs, and perhaps even the MC too. It's hardly her most ideal use case, but it's one not a lot of other Servants can do so it should be noted!
On a last note, I also like how while she is clearly stronger than Summer BB in some aspects, Arc doesn't entirely powercreep them out of existence. Beach Babe still is the queen of Gogh Comps , Card Locking is exclusive to her, and Raw Crit and Buff Power under Double Koyan is still excellent even if it does require Superscope, so those that heavily invest into the best kouhai don't have to feel like they've been left in the dust.
Tbh while I am not replacing Cú Caster any time soon, I think she makes for a good farmer. She not broken, but she is still good
She can loop better imo with double oberon in farming nodes. Even in the first wave with BG she have a very good damage.
Great, got NP2 Arcueid, but, I didn't get Light Koyan on the GSSR, until new year it is.
I do like her Yu Gi Oh style background changing.
I just tried the QP node with my NP2 arcueid(lv110, 2k fous) WITHOUT any CE and she killed the last wave ganesha with np o.o, swaped in Edison for the CD reduction and lvl5 new chaldea mystic code, she did 158.7K damage and ganesha has 132k so it's consistent
Gotta say she is a blessing to my F2P JP account, while I did have Morgan and Koyan, I didn't have much else, especially CE wise. I COULD farm with Morgan but sometimes damage at NP1 wasn't enough. Arc however, even at lower damage, made things a lot easier on my account... Until she decided to be NP4 in around 300sq when rolling for Xu Fu coins so now damage is no longer an issue I suppose.
Definitely worth the investment though if you can get as you said NP2 or above, even just for the 100% battery. I'd have loved to test NP1/2 6 slotting but due to no CEs I couldn't really and no events obviously, but with a (non-MLB) Black Grail at NP1, she did not have that damage for Doors, but it was mostly close and NP2 always hits the damage with it. She has made things so braindead easy, and I can now retire the method of swapping servants, even if that does mean also retiring the Summer Kama team for most things since it was a pain when you don't have your own Castoria.

Honestly she's a well balanced servant and a great anniversary servant. What I think makes a good anni servant is great visuals and something fresh. Her animations and field change mechanic fit those two things, and she's a fan favorite, so in the department, she's great. As a servant, she has a lot of nice skills and potential, but she isn't broken to the point you can just steamroll anything with her. Its a nice change of pace from past anniversaries. A character that you won't regret pulling, but that you also won't regret skipping.

The main issue I find is that well even with Black Grails she actually can't consistently kill most 90+s unless she's np3(I've run using calcs and multiple sites as well as my own with the damage formula), this is of course even worse than you try to 6s..in fact she performs better with a plug and your usual AD than with a BG and then when you compare her to Morgan and co in similar circumstances she loses out
I went close to pity for this lady but didn’t care because I was rolling for Xu Fu, all I’m going to say as a budding FGO JP player is that she feels like David with some more utility? I don’t prioritize 3T farming but I have a feeling that I’ll be able to do so quite easily with her and F2P units if I allow some CE freedom (which I don’t care about rn because there’s hardly any CE’s I have to need freedom, lol)
And she synergizes with Mash fairly well for challenging content. Aside from the pseudo-servant charge, all taunts synergize with single hit survivability with extended durations.
It’s kinda basic gameplay-wise but I like it enough that I thought she was as much worth summoning for as Daikokuten. And I liked Daikokuten a lot.

Great video. Tbh I still consider Melusine to be the prime buster farmer. Six slotting is extremely important to me and Arcueid isn't amazing in that area. Hopefully there will be a future servant like Koyanskaya that will also reduce skill cooldowns and provide big buffs as well.
Not really. Meluko is tied to a plugsuit and need similar loop specs (NP3+) at 6CE. If you want 6CEs and don't mind the plugsuit, Arc can run 6CEs with VV+Edison or VOO depending on whether you need W2 or W3 damage. So, both Arc and Meluko are roughly equivalent in 6CE department. What puts Arc above Meluko is the plugless flexibility and ability to triloop with double DPS setups. Arc's #1 in the entire game at that, tbh. She's expensive, but at that level she's #1.

And this is mainly because Melusine can actually make use of Oberon when six slotting so her W3 damage will naturally be higher. Her W1 and W2 damage will always be higher since she has more damage steroids. Arceuids damage is still mediocre when plugsuiting which is disappointing while Melusines damage skyrockets so they have no where near "similar loop specs." Also, every looper is expensive. You'll need to get a couple of copies to loop properly so I don't see that as an argument.

Meluko lv.90 NP1 39.6k, 43.2k
Arc lv.90 NP1 48.6k, 42.2k
Arc also has the option of stacking her S1 on T2 if your running 6CE plugless using Atlas MC on T2 which brings her T2 damage up to 58.3k. So, no she doesn't outdamage Arc cleanly.
Now obviously a plug farmer is going to outdamage a plugless farmer on W3. However, If you're not averse to using the plugsuit (as you should be since you're advocating for Meluko) Arc can 6slot w. VOO and her damage is within competitive range of Meluko's W3 damage. It's about ~6k short, but honestly that's more than enough to clear for both of them if you're considering NP3+ as their minimum loop spec.
But that is all honestly irrelevant. Farming isn't about a pissing contest. It isn't "oh, my Buster AE can hit more overkill that yours". From a functional perspective, most of the damage Meluko provides (specially on W3) is waay more than necessary. There are other aspects to farming as I will mention below.
When I say expensive, I'm talking about party cost. Arc requires multiple NP copies to work, so she's an expensive quartz investment herself. However, her farming setups are much more flexible on party cost enabling insane backline flexibility in terms of farming bond and slotting event CEs. Meluko can only slot 5* CEs if you're above Master level 150 and even then it's when your running Mash and 1* CE holders, so you can't farm bond with other servants.
Oh, and plugless is > plugsuit for other obvious reasons.
@@kun2588 She does and here are my calcs. I am using the maketakunai's damage calculator. Both Melusine and Arcueid are level 90 NP1 and regular fou'd. And they are both considered to be running double koyan.
Melusine: W1 - 57.3k // W2 - 62.4k
Arceuid: W1 - 53.9k // W2 - 46.8k
And this damage difference will only increase the more you invest in either servant. I am not considering using Atlas and stacking her S1 on T2 since Arcueid needs as much damage as she can get on W3 since its already so low with Atlas. On W3, forget about it. Melusine's buffs scale so well with Oberon that there is a very large difference no matter who you plugsuit with Arcueid. Not sure how you got that math but if I had to guess, you didn't consider fous. Its important to consider all the buffs since math is always linear when calc'ing np damage.
And I agree that at a certain point damage doesn't matter but for Arcueid it really does. Her damage is really low especially when using Atlas and 6 slotting. If you want to farm 90+ nodes, this damage problem will become much more apparent. She can't be super flexible if she can only kill waves in certain situations. If you're okay with not 6 slotting and using a BG then sure she becomes the best servant in the game for you. But for minmaxers, she isn't the best.
And I disagree that plugless is always better than plugsuit. 90+ nodes still exist and most of the time require you to use a plugsuit. If you want to do 6 slotting with Arcueid, she has to be extremely hyper invested for her to properly farm waves and even then she still needs plugsuit to do good damage. I agree that plugless has it merits but it also has its limitations.
@@inderpreetsingh214 Yeah, I don't know how you pulled those numbers. I've used the same calculator and plugged the same conditions and quoted the numbers in my previous comment. I've run it thrice now to make sure and received the same results. I don't know what you're doing wrong. Just to make sure that I'm not missing any buffs, Meluko hits W1 with 120% Buster up and 40% attack up whereas Arc hits at 130% Buster up, 30% Attack up, 20% NP damage up and 20% def down. Nothing more, nothing less. I've accounted for 1k fous asw. Hell, even your Arc numbers are bigger than the ones I pulled.
The point is that Arc *can* run plugless at 6CE efficiency; Meluko can't. An Omnifarmer doesn't just mean a servant that can clear 90+, it means a servant that can farm every node in the game as the prefix "omni-" implies. And Arc is superior at that; Meluko has only one setup which is plug and relies on a huge party cost whereas Arc can clear certain nodes at 6CE efficiency while still providing luxuries such as more backline slots to farm bond and flexibility with CEs. The gatekeep for Meluko's 6CE farming is party cost. Below master level 150, it is impossible for her to slot 6 5*CEs. Above that she can't farm bond for anyone. Her farming is rigid and inefficient from a secondary benefit perspective.
No, my point with stacking Arcs damage on W2 is that in certain nodes the W2 boss is beefier than the W1 one. For example, that Nightingale christmas rerun 90+ node, that had a ~150k mob on W2 while having a 3 mobs on W3 with the largest one being ~100k. I remember it clearly because it was a lotto event that was really hard to minmax. Arc is so flexible, you can bend her to meet the requirements of each node while still having decent enough efficiency and performance.
In terms of plug 6-slot efficiency, Arc and Meluko are roughly equal. The W3 damage of Arc in her best plug setup (VOO) is comparable to that of Meluko. In fact, an argument can be made that Arc is superior to Meluko at this because she's never at class disadvantage, but I will set that aside.
There are two aspects of min-maxing; one is drop efficiency and the other is time efficiency. Arc clearly wins in the latter as she's capable of dropping one slot in favor of a damage CE to plugless clear any node at NP2 even and has a shorter NP animation in her second ascension. In the case of the former, they're roughly equal. Also the rigidity of Meluko's farming requirements to triloop anything (plugsuit and 2 native SSRs) can cause a bottleneck in her 6CE setups in terms of party cost.
Also, Arc's farming setups aren't limited to Koyan alone. An ML unlocked Arc can run Morgan/Arc/Oberon which is a 6CE setup without any major native meta support or reliance on MC. Granted, you need high NP levels on both Morgan and Arc to do decent damage. Look at those setups, there are quite a few vids on them in UA-cam. They're indubitably the best at clearing dailies and (depending on investment into your Morgan) can be used in even 90+ event nodes.
Plugless, when possible is always superior to plug at the same drop efficiency. And Meluko will never provide that. It's the only asterisk on her as a farmer. I was of the opinion that Meluko was the best farmer in the game due to her consistency but after seeing the sheer versatility and flexibility that Arc offers to tackle different nodes, I cannot in good conscience say that Meluko is superior to Arc. I can see an argument saying that Meluko is equal to Arc in terms of farming from a drop efficiency perspective (even though I'll question their comparative performance in such setups) but I can't see one that says that Meluko is better than Arc.

If you are gonna say "but she does fine in medium diff nodes" then so does a multitude of servants. Getting Oberon is infinitely better than another Arc since he isnt restricted to Melu but a lot of servants will benefit from him.

I'll be honest Arcueid coming into FGO convinced me to start reading Tsukihime and so far i'm liking it. I have been planning on reading it for a while with the remake being released it made me want to read it a little more but since Arcueid came in to made me more interested. I am at the early stages of the VN hopefully I will have to the time to do it. Because right now I have two jobs one on the weekdays and the other on the weekends. my weekend job is shorter ours but its a fifty fifty on what days I will work there

I agree with the pros and cons stated in the video but I dont get why people are hyping over not needing to use plugsuit. Using Atlas MC is a must if you want to loop her using BG unless im missing something. Being stuck with Atlas MC is even worst than being stuck with plugsuit. Also being able to use BG to reach decent damage is quite a bad thing since it means she needs a fat NP% to make her good while Junao will easily outdamage her with a normal buster CE. Sure her class advantage damage is high but how often can she abuse it? Everyone else abuses zerker class as well. Junao is still the best buster farming servant for me.
Bc plug suit is slow and another support will be tied down and you cant bond another servant instead. Its all about optimization, if you dont mind its not a big deal
@@PlushieMistress True, being able to bond another servant while farming is optimal. Was thinking more about farm looping than bond farming. Another pros of using Arcueid, Wish her damage was slightly higher so she can at least clear the last wave of daily farm quests.
@@Sacri1ege I never had a problem with cleaering the last node of daily farm quests with her and double koyan just use the star bombs at the last wave she may not kill with np alone but the after crits will finish the job
@@nechocat1234 Yea i am aware that you can clear last wave by using her S1 at the last wave and/or using star bombs. My issue there is what if she was used for other nodes with similar or slightly higher HP would she still be able to clear then. An example would be the QP Caster Jinako, what if RNG screws us over and gives all facecard to koyan who is disadvantaged. Sure koyan could still finish her off if she only has abit of HP left, but if its for slightly higher HP? Also, using her S1 at W3 will hurt her damage in S2. Personally, i would much prefer if a servants NP could straight kill the enemy as it removes the RNG factor, dont think anyone likes farming when the last wave is always left with abit of HP.

Ironically, she can farm with double koyanskaya plugless, but she can't farm with double koyanskaya oberon. I don't think you can seriously call her the premier buster looper when melusine exists. Yes, arc doesn't require plug like melusine, but arc's damage without plug is so low that she can't farm hard nodes unless if they are chaotic.
But even if you DO use plug with arcueid; you have to run double oberon, which means that her wave 1 and 2 damage will be quite bad, and even her wave 3 damage is far behind someone like Melusine.
She isn't but she makes buster looping easier.
The closest thing we can get that can boost her damage further is Miss Crane

I don't know where you got that Arc does less damage in triple DPS comps than VVX comps even a single Oberon can make her outdamsge the later in the former and she does respectable damage for reference assuming a 6 slot she'll do 165k at NP5 neutral compared to the 171k she does with Oberon at NP2 mind you. The only time I think its worth to VVX with her is when she is either facing a chaotic enemy or if you are 5 sloting with black grail
Her survivability and soloing capability is irrelevant to me because I only intend to use her for farming. She doesn't need to be the best at everything.
