It's the first time Tom has seen these Embryo waters, but un-phased by the prospect of tackling a new lake he soon applies his experienced approach to reap the rewards on offer from this top day ticket venue and catch some Norton Disney Gems!

Great video. I've always been concerned about using stiff links, like Boom, with a barbless hook. Obviously Tom uses it, am I worrying unnecessarily about loosing fish.
to save you worrying use microbarbed, allowed in most venues and are great just that slight edge to keep the hook in without ripping the fishes mouth apart
@Dale Harrison if he wanted to fish at the venue in this video it's barbless hooks only

Hi Sam, if Tom's fishing short to medium range then that is his preference (fluorocarbon doesn't lend itself to distance casting) as the fluorocarbon is super-tough and super-heavy to give a nice line lay out to the rig. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Pretty sure Tom was using Korda Kontour flour-carbon main line.

Great video but what a horrible place to fish maybe will look better once it’s matured in a gd few years but at the minute just looks like a hole in the ground
Obviously a young venue following all the work to fence off the complex and build comfortable swims, thousands of tree have been planted around the lakes which will soon change the surroundings. The complex is however partially surrounded by a huge forest which creates a pleasing eye line - like you say the complex will mature into something special!
