This DLC really inspires me to create a Wild West Themed Zoo in a desert biome I already had the Bison, Grizzly Bear, Pronghorn and Wolves but the Beaver, Moose, Prarie Dog, Alligator and Cougar complete it so well!!!
Same here, but I’ve been taking major inspiration from the RDR2 map, especially the Big Valley/Grizzlies West regions coz of how many species from PZ’s roster can be found there
@@andresparra114 For sure. I definitely wouldn't trade an animal for it! There are a dozen other animals I wanted in addition to the ones we got!... but how cute would some teepees and totem poles be surrounding your bison habitat.
I gotta say, as an American, that I LOVE this pack. Pretty much everything is perfect! But I would have swapped out the bullfrog for a badger or a wolverine. Definitely gonna put together a "North American Exhibition" zoo with these animals and the other North American animals in the game. Great vid, Delady!
@@WillJK I think it was a good choice for an exhibit animal, although i think i would've prefered a hellbender or a alligator snapping turtle, since they don't move that much and look awesome, but i guess they were too big for an exhibit animal?
Yes! Altough they're doing a great job releasing new animals every pack! But i always wonder how would be like to be able to do a Aquarium in my zoo with dolphins, orcas, stingrays and etc.
I am in love in all of those animals! Frontier did such an amazing job! I feel like animals look better with every DLC! Can't wait to go back home from work and download the new DLC! 🥳🥰🦫
I am really glad, but I also would have liked that they give us raccoons as well. And without furhter ado, This will be my wishlist for the upcoming dlc's: - Raccoon - Parrots - Atlantic Puffin - Pelican (any species will be fine) - King Cobra (or relatable species) - Milk snake - Sea turtles - Harpy eagle - Secretary bird - Owls - Bald eagle - Barbary Macaque - Baboons (epecially the Gelada baboon) - Gibbons - Axolotl - Hummingbirds - Blue jay - Kiwi (any species) - Sea otter - Red Fox - Alpine Ibex - Tuatara - Capybara - Wombats - Platypus - Black or read howler monkey - Galago (bushbaby) - Przewalski Horse - Petting Zoo animals (especially Donkeys. Ponies and pigs) - Sloths - Arabian Sandcat - Bush dog - Maned wolf - Bats (when possible) - Greater Kudu - Hanuman Langur - African forest Elephant (when possible) - Birds of paradise And I can go on and on with this.
A great extension, no question! I would still like to see aquariums in the future. This could be packaged as before: smaller fish in aquariums, such as the terrariums, and larger ones, such as sharks or rays, in extra habitats. The same would be possible with aviaries and larger birds. Another wish on top: walruses, elephant seals and as a candy leopard seal...
Just started the video and already commenting, but the alligators are incredible! I've seen them up close quite a few times and the animations and details are spot on! They are insanely realistic! Brings me back to alligator hunting (to take pictures, not hurt them) when I use to vacation in the south ❤ That fox hop is so cute. My husky does it too. It's to hunt in the snow. It's great
I’ve been around 40 feet away from a Moose and her calf while hiking in Colorado, they are beautiful animals. They should be able to dive however. Fun fact, orcas are one of the moose’s greatest predators in the wild because moose like to dive to eat seaweed.
No, that is incorrect. You likely "learned" that from a comic strip that's being going around. While there have been reports of orca preying on swimming moose, the last semi-verified report was over 40 years ago. Orcas are not considered regular predators of moose. Will they eat a moose, given a change? Yes, some populations of large mammal-eating orcas may give it a shot (not all orca populations eat the same thing- the PNW Resident population are fish eaters and don't eat mammals, for example). Are orcas a major predator? Absolutely not. Don't believe everything you see shared on social media.
My only disappointment with the pack is that the Moose doesn't have diving and the aquatic herbivore feeder...they dive for food and other reasons in the wild. They also dive in captivity if given the option to do so
There’s soo much to be happy about with this pack! The details in the animations, like the way the toes of the alligator hatchlings move when they walk, all the new animations and how well the animals look. Just wow☺️
I doubt it will happen tho! I mean, ever since the beginning people complain about the guests walking in summer clothes even in a tundra and taiga biome 🙈😄
This pack is just spectacular, probably my favorite so far. I didn't realize how much I missed sea lions from the aquariums back home until I saw them here lol
Fun fact, baby fox are called Kits or a side name Cubs :> And I was over the moon when they added moose because I live in Alaska where they are very common.
Well I think I will be buying this pack for the Prairie Dogs, Arctic Fox, Sea Lions and Beavers. As soon as I saw the Mini Beaver Dam I was planning to build it into the landscape to make it look more natural.
.... and armadillos, and porcupines, and elk, and wolverines, and bobcats, and Canadian lynx, and spirit bears, and ring tails, and skunks, and jackrabbits, and bighorn sheep, and coyotes, and......
They should totally have given us a new snake species. Since exhibit animals are so small to begin with. I would have liked a Sidewinder or coral snake to represent the desert biome. Or maybe a copperhead/cottonmouth for the east coast. Arctic Fox is adorable. Still waiting for some smaller species though! Badgers, porcupines. Red Fox (should be easy), skunks, raccoons… and ofc white tailed deer.
Awesome video, was very motivated to get the dlc after seeing what you showed, my favorite of the new animals is also the beaver, it is one of the animals I then the game va new I wanted them to add, good as yours other videos😎🤩👍
it's so weird that zoopedia says cougar are not found on the canadian east coast. i live there and we definitely have them! thank you for this awesome video, i can't wait to play with this pack :D
Yay another new pack! My personal fav is the Cougar. Btw, what device to you use to play Planet Zoo? I really want to achieve the landscaping skills that you have when building habitats!
So, fun fact about Alligators (that can be seen in action on Snake Discovery's channel and their videos about their alligator, Rex), their sexual maturity depends on their size, and not their age (though usually they reach a certain size by a certain age). Rex on Snake Discovery was kept in a VERY small box for the first 20 years of her life, and so she never grew properly, and didn't reach the size of sexual maturity... because of this, she never lost her baby coloration! It's starting to fade now that she has a proper enclosure and has had the appropriate feeding and habitat, because she's finally started growing! She's getting much bigger compared to the first videos she was seen in on the channel.
It’s cool seeing these animals in action! And I’m just gonna say it now, I hope they don’t use the arctic foxes different coloration as a gender thing (male or female is white while other gender is summer color) because that be a bit unrealistic. So excited to use all these North America animals in my zoos Edit: alright, looks like their coloration isn’t gonna be a gender thing👍
So I'm just curious... If you could choose the next animal pack, what area would you want it to be and what animals would you love to see in it? I've been loving your Planet Zoo content over the past year or so 😍.
I just added the North America Animal Pack, along with the updates. I can't open the game on any of my saves. Not sure how to get it to load. I have 1300 hours in the zoo, sure would hate to lose that. Any suggestions?
The only thing I'm disappointed with, is I really wanted Red Foxes and Elk. I know they don't want to add a lot of animals in just one pack, but I really hope they add them at some point. they are such beautiful animals. I wish they would have added the artic fox to the ARTIC pack and put the red fox in instead with some elk. That's just my opinion though. And don't get me wrong I still think this pack is very beautiful and I'm excited to try it out. (Edit: Also I have noticed that sometimes planet zoo gets the biomes wrong for the animals along with the map and where they can be found. I know they are just trying to go with the mainstream areas but with the Moose and cougar for example. With the cougar on the map it said they live in South America and up the west coast of North America. But I live in South Carolina (Going to move to Colorado soon though) and I have seen them over here. And from what I've read and heard about, they live basically all across most of North America.)
Do you think we will get one more dlc this year and how many dlc's do you think we have left in the future. Also, i loved the video and all of the animals are so cute!!
@@DeLadysigner I actually listed off the Animals that could be present in these hypothetical Packs: Japan: - Sika Deer - Japanese Raccoon Dog - Japanese Black Bear - Red Crested Crane - Asian Giant Hornet (exhibit) India: - Sloth Bear - Indian Leopard - Indian Rock Python (exhibit) - Rhesus Macaque - Indian Cobra (exhibit)
Just so you know, cougars actually aren't big cats, they're not in the panthera genus. The only true big cats are lions, tigers, jaguars, leopards, and snow leopards. Cougars are more closely related to things like ocelots, house cats, and cheetahs.
Of this pack? I like a lot of the animals tbh! I think my most favorite are the Cougar, Beaver, Sea Lion and Fox ♥ but all the animals are really good tho!
Also, arctic foxes should be able to share habitat with polar bears and get the bonus. They often "adopt" polar bears and follow them for weeks, to scavenge off the kills. The polars mostly don't worry about them, because they're so small.
Now I'm curious where are you from... because I thought moose is very good known animal in Europe, especially in eastern and north Europe and of course in north America. In my country (Poland) is very dangerous to meet moose on the road because they are veeery big and heavy and if you will hit him by a car you are 99% dead (of course that is why you should not drive very fast). Moose likes to live on swamps and the are very good swimmers. And my aunt saw moose last week in the forest :)

@@DeLadysigner Pups learn by mimicking adult behavior. Pups begin to group together at two to three weeks of age. Pups develop vocal, social, and swimming skills by interacting with others in these groups. These social groups break up by the end of the breeding season when the adults leave the rookery.
@@DeLadysigner That means that while they stay with their mothers although they have most of needed physical attributes, they cannot properly swim even to save their lives. This is why their mother stay with them, and afterwards they group together. This in fact is very common in this type of sea animals. Very rarely sea lions, walruses , etc pups can swim from the get go. They tend to feed up, as they need that blabber layer to preserve them from the cold currents in the water, to gain knowledge and to socialize.
I was kind of disappointed with the fact moose don't dive in this when in the real life there number one predator is orca and they do swim alot underwater
The more I read about it, the more I feel exactly the same.. lol! I won't be surprised tho if frontier may be adding this later if people tell them its a bit odd that they wont dive, to say the least, lol!

Baby seals in real life, don't swim until they are almost in their teens... bizarre that they swim so early and so small...
Oh really 🤔
@@lailaagrado so basically they should have put in the swimming effort into mooses instead of sea lion pups 🤣
De lady we have the moose in Lelystad
You mean in a zoo or like in the wild?
it's not really a zoo like Blijdorp or Artis. but it is called nature park Lelystad
Now I just have to make some rdr2 inspired habitats and buildings
I've noticed this in your other videos as well. You keep calling baby foxes puppies. Baby foxes are called kits!
I didnt think they would be called different comparing to wolves.. lol! So didnt look it up 🤣
@@DeLadysigner It's all good! Im sure a lot of people don't know! I just love foxes so something I knew. Beautiful video as always
Baby foxes are called kits not puppy’s
Love the new dlc!!!!!!!!!
Happy World Animal Day!
I was kind of disappointed with the fact moose don't dive in this when in the real life there number one predator is orca and they do swim alot underwater
Alligators in Mexico? We don't have alligators in Mexico, at least not wild
Well, according to frontier and google there are certain areas where you can find them 😄
They aren't available!
?
Pumas are not big cats 😅 only members from the Panthera genus count as "big cats".
For me its a big cat! I dont care otherwise 😄
a moose that don't dive.... BRUH
The more I read about it, the more I feel exactly the same.. lol! I won't be surprised tho if frontier may be adding this later if people tell them its a bit odd that they wont dive, to say the least, lol!
@@DeLadysigner they probably will, as seen with the big cats and croc updates so far
I want all the animals form this pack, but those signs.......yet another "art" style that is inconsistent with every other sign in the game.
Hehehe ♥
