She is known as having excellent understanding of her voice and she never went above her bridge. Kind of a safe singer and shes not a risk taker, but she utilize all her vocal strength and make the best out of it. Very unique singer. Btw please2 react to this. m.ua-cam.com/video/yQhmDRkD500/v-deo.html No disrespect to her performance of anta pernama as she did well. But it wasnt nearly as good as at her prime. The video I shared was prime Siti and she performed at the Royal Albert Hall. The first and only artist to do so in Malaysian history.
Also to add on to this comment is that those who recite Al-Quran (in Arabic) properly with the right intonation that coincide with the alphabets marking, that allows her to do what she can do as a singer. Another example of a singer that uses the same technique is TAN SRI P. RAMLEE in the 50's - 60's. (An absolute Malaysian legend)
Really good reaction here Beth...good technical reaction, very honest and you knew your music language very well...unlike many of reactioners in youtube, they dont have any knowledge about music, just simply want to gain more subs and viewers...even my cat can do reaction like that!😄🤣🤣
The way her singing is the 'lenggok melayu' if im not mistaken. Flow that malays often use when singing malay songs and some traditional songs. Someone can correct me if im wrong
Subscribed and liked. I have watched so many reacts from them who called themselves vocal coach but you are the first one i subs. But your explaination made me who tone deaf, but know how to appreciate sound differentiation and abilities to jump high and low notes even breath controls..able to see what to see. The way you utter it made me see the dynamic..dimension and depth of that song. Really glad found your channel tonight. Thank you.
Thank you for another wonderful video, Beth! It’d be interesting to see you reacting to John Mayer’s “Stop This Train”, because singing while playing the way he does cannot be easy.
Hi Beth ..i love your informative reactions. Just wanted to share..The thing you described is what we call as burdah. (At least that's what i know I'm not a vocal coach..just an observer). the kind of singing that gives flowery mood to the sound.. common in Mediterranean, arabic, eastern traditional, ethnic songs. Siti Nurhaliza is very good at this. Another singer in Malaysia that do alot of this style of singing is Nor Aniza Idris.
Hi, Bethany. I've been following you since your "fasting during Ramadan" videos years ago and I hope you will give it another try this year, maybe idk it's up to you. Btw, love your reaction on this iconic and legend singer from my country. Love from Malaysia 🇲🇾

hi miss beth, please take some of your time to react to her song called “kurniaan dalam kesamaran”and claimed by her as one of the difficult and hardest song to sing...it is nice to hear the experts doing reaction as they know what they were saying..all the best to you dear..from kuala lumpur, malaysia
You should review about Dato' Sri Aliff Shukri singing and tell him how bad of a singer he is . He is that kind of person where you can't tell him the truth . He keep coming with songs and the song is not great and his voice is just so bad
Those mellismas are some original vocal ornaments of Malay tradition. They form the "color" of the tune being sung. Once you hear these kind of ornaments, you can be almost sure that the singer is Malay 😅
Beautifull voice!!Great singer. Wanderfull arabian girl or Turkey girl? I don't Know. His tone control is perfect. The vibrato is very nice. I recomend for you the progresive heavy metal band Symphony X.
So beautiful. There is/are so much/many fine music, fine musicians, and fine singers in the world. Think you will never run out in doing some videos. She is known as having excellent understanding of her voice and she never went above her bridge. Kind of a safe singer and shes not a risk taker, but she utilize all her vocal strength and make the best out of it. Very unique singer. Btw please2 react to this.

No disrespect to her performance of anta pernama as she did well. But it wasnt nearly as good as at her prime. The video I shared was prime Siti and she performed at the Royal Albert Hall. The first and only artist to do so in Malaysian history.
One thing about Siti is that she smiles all the time, even when she's singing
Also to add on to this comment is that those who recite Al-Quran (in Arabic) properly with the right intonation that coincide with the alphabets marking, that allows her to do what she can do as a singer. Another example of a singer that uses the same technique is TAN SRI P. RAMLEE in the 50's - 60's. (An absolute Malaysian legend)
Even Alicia Keys recognizes her as Voice of Asia
Mario Gematria share me the link. I want to see.
Eyrul Aieyzart search je Siti Nurhaliza MTV Asia 2005.

Hey! Here is my reaction to Alicia Keys: ua-cam.com/video/ngE4DgXzkVc/v-deo.html
Really good reaction here Beth...good technical reaction, very honest and you knew your music language very well...unlike many of reactioners in youtube, they dont have any knowledge about music, just simply want to gain more subs and viewers...even my cat can do reaction like that!😄🤣🤣

i love your reaction, it's detailed and makes me understand things easily. thank you for reacting!
Thank you.
I love your British accent , it so fun and good to hear it . I keep listening to it 🥰
Thank you for another wonderful video, Beth!
Happy to see so many Malaysians here!
But.. lockdown? 🤣
Loqlaq wehhh....😆😆

your sincere n technically knowledgeble comments really appreciated.
when you did “HA HA HAHAAAA” your voice a bit similar to how Dato Sri Siti did. just humble opinion
I always had a really hard time singing her songs because it's difficult for me to distinguish whether she was using her chest or head voice. Glad that you pointed that out!
This is not just reaction.. But, this is vocal educational video... Thanks

Supernova mega diva of Malaysia: SITI NURHALIZA
Love your reaction beautiful lady👋👋👋
Thank you for reacting to our gem
Siti is one of the standard traditional Malay stylistic singing.
Thanks Beth. Love you 😘
You should watch her on her prime time. You will realise why she's a Malaysian sweetheart.
Yes. She is a unique singer. The way she sings is different than most conventional pop singers
You should review about Dato' Sri Aliff Shukri singing and tell him how bad of a singer he is . He is that kind of person where you can't tell him the truth . He keep coming with songs and the song is not great and his voice is just so bad
😂 😂
Haha
ni suggest ke apa ni? HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA
Omg 😂
hahaha.. mengadu kat sini plak.. mintak bntuan org luar.. 😂😂😂
Those mellismas are some original vocal ornaments of Malay tradition. They form the "color" of the tune being sung. Once you hear these kind of ornaments, you can be almost sure that the singer is Malay 😅
Thanks, really appreciate sharing knowledge 💖
Beautifull voice!!Great singer. Wanderfull arabian girl or Turkey girl? I don't Know. His tone control is perfect. The vibrato is very nice.
I recomend for you the progresive heavy metal band Symphony X.
Carlos césar Cruz Jiménez malay girl from malaysia
