The second singer is Siti Sarah, one of my favorite singers since high school when she sang "Kesetiaan". But unfortunately she just passed away few days ago because of Covid. She will be remembered. RIP Siti Sarah. 🙏

Ning baizura is the oldest singer to debut here, around 1991/1992. Siti Nurhaliza and Liza Hanim debut around the same year of 1996/1997. Siti Sarah and Misha Omar Debut around 2000/2001.
All from other period of time.
From the debut time, u can guess why the song distribution is that way. Siti Sarah and Misha Omar is new artist here. The year of this performance i think 2003/2004.
My rank in term of vocal here is Liza = Siti Nurhaliza > Siti Sarah > Misha Omar > Ning Baizura.

Siti Nurhaliza is Siti Nurhaliza. She was really popular during her time, not just in Malaysia but also in Asia. She performed at Albert Hall, London, that is how popular she was. However, during her time, she overshadowed a lot of others Malaysian singers😕. We all know she is a diva but I do think it was unfair even in this video, Siti was given that climax part to her from the very beginning even though other singers in that video also can sing that highlight🙂. For instance, Siti Sarah (the lady in the pink dress), she is really good. You should check out her performance and her voice even more. Misha Omar(the lady in the orange) is also a diva in Malaysia but not as much as Siti. Misha omar is label as a diva because of the emotion that she brings on stage, and her vocal control is really good, and nice tone, Malaysian love her 😅. Liza Hanim(the lady in a gold) also considered a diva, she got a powerful voice. As for Ning, hmm... You were right... That just her style, she did not always sing like that but most of the time, she is who she is, opera singer, operatic way. She is a diva in Malaysia, but not everyone's cup of tea 😕😅.

I love liza hanim so much. When i was young, i’m not a fan of her as she used to potray antagonist character in her acting. But now i’m an adult i and realise she is so talented and start appreciate her talent because now I can see what is talent is compared to my younger age (stupid kid). Siti Nurhaliza and Jaclyn Victor are perhaps the best singers that have come from Malaysia and are recognized even in the Philippines by music enthusiasts. Siti is like the Regine Velasquez of Malaysia while Jaclyn is the asian Fantasia Barrino.
Whilst i partially agree with your statement, one thing is for sure, Jaclyn Victor in the Asian market is much bigger than Fantasia Barrino in US market.

THANK Yazid ..this moment is the best moment for us Malaysia when they are being combine as one of the highlight for the Music Industry of Malaysia Award on that night. It a prestige award in Malaysia during that time who appreciated the people in the industry. The award is being judge by a very processional people and it appreciated foll all the people not only the singer...There are combining the very popular female artist during that time (senior and junior) in one stage and everyone are waiting for this performance..It really good arrangement when they are decided change the lyric to Malay . .credit to the people who are have this idea during that time. bravo....

As we know Siti Nurhalizs is the Voice of Asia so no wonder she will be my one and only queen in Malaysia . But at the same time i love so much the voice of Misha Omar (orange dress) and also Liza Hanim (golden dress) voices 😍😍😍 there are truly legend in our country 🇲🇾❤️
On the stage from left to right - Siti Nurhaliza, Liza Hanim, Sarah Raisuddin, Ning Baizura & Misha Omar.
The reason why these women were put together on stage is they were competing in the award ceremony for the category of Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in an Album for the award show called Anugerah Industri Music (AIM in short similar to Grammy Awards show in the USA). That night I remember all these ladies (apart from Misha Omar) were put in the category to win the vocal performance award and it went to Siti Nurhaliza (and she has already won the same category for best vocal performance for 4 or 5 years in a row which is impressive)
To answer your curiosity about Ning Baizura - When she first came out in the early 90s she had different kind of reception towards her style (which is more Operatic style with loads of head voice, breathy near soprano and falsetto) which was very uncommon to compare with other female vocalists at the time. (Siti Nurhaliza did not come out until 1996 on her debut album). Some people were mesmerised by Ning as her style of singing is very different than others, but most were not that keen as she brought something new to the music industry at the time. That evening in this performance she sounded the way how she always sing. It is her signature style of singing which has made her gain popularity that way as being good and different at the same time. She is still active singing until today and she is considered as one of the most established female vocalists in Malaysia.
If I have to choose, I personally think Siti Nurhaliza gave the best most impressive vocal performance on the stage that night. Yes she was given the chorus part which needs her to maximise her upper vocal range, but at the same time not only she hit those notes effortlessly and rightfully, she gave us all the techniques (powerful vibrato, the excellent modulation from low to high note, her voice was crystal clear and very sharp she can almost cut glass, and her stage presence) which I agree with your view that she deserves the part that was given to her. Her execution was pitch perfect and most of all she made it sound very easy, but at the same time it is all about using the right technique. If her part was given to Liza Hanim I am very sure Liza can give as good as she can give, but it will sound different as Liza can belt high note but it will not sound as full voice and sharp as Siti. But still Liza (who came out 2 years after Siti's debut album) is considered as one of the highly respected female vocalists in Malaysia. And again, everyone has got different style and talent.

I agree with Ning. She actually can belt in chest and head voice not in operatic ways pretty decently. But then again, My All is not for the faintest of heart to sing. I think she got scared not being able to belt that well in a non operatic way, then she tried using her operatic ways which is what shes kind of good at (I dont think shes the best at that too), then she realize its not working she tried falsetto and it became horrible. They shouldnt have given her the belt part. Im glad u finally managed to catch a glimpse of prime Siti. The videos u watched before are when she was older and her range wasnt as good as it used to be. Liza Hanim as u already know, is a formidable talent and one of the most underappreciated singer in Malaysia. Siti Sarah is very capable of singing very low notes. I dont like Misha Omar here. To me the growling doesnt sounds niçe for this particular performance.

Yazik, you have to listen to this song repeatly as this song's lyric has been changed to our Malaysian language. About Ning, that was her stylistic choice I think to give contra to the song because the other 4 singers has similarities. You should listen to Ning 1st popular song - CURIGA. We love all of them 😍

NING BAIZURA - The first artist to hold a tour of Europe was the "Ning Europe Summer Tour 2005"...Has performed exclusively on the European royal family, King Elbert.
About ning baizura. That was her way of expressing her vocal. I love the way she sing even i dont really know much and professional/ experiences about this or on stage but we as for me everyone did a very good job as well as Ning. They doing it in their own way and as we all know that My All from Mariah Carey was so difficult and high notes to sang !

Ning baizura well known for his rnb song normally song that familiar with black singers. 1 of her album i love the most (not remember) full of quality tracks and catchy one like Percaya, Asmara etc

P/s: I love love love Siti's tone, Liza's high note, Misha's growl and Sarah's low note. For me, they're all excellent in their own way! Ning is one of my favorite Malaysian singers I grew up listening to her. She has a unique voice that I appreciate.
