- Even after 7 years, that last pose!
Note: If anyone's wondering why Yuzuru's not doing the jumps at CiONTU 2018, it's because he was in rehab from injury and couldn't do jumps yet.
I edited and cut his 4CC performance right to the music cuts of his Ciontu performance, so if anyone's wondering why some of his movements were cut in the 4CC, it's because I'm following the Ci music. Also I retained the commentary from his 4CC, so both audio from both performance is intact.

This is exactly what I wanted to watch! 16-year-old Yuzuru is so cute and talented, and 23-year-old Yuzuru seems more confident. These two Yuzuru are so beautiful. Watching this video, I feel how mature he has been, how much progress his skating skill makes and how hard he has been working. Thank you so much for editing and sharing this video.
In 2011, the program was too much for him, and the music seemed to me just not his style. In 2018 - oh yes, he had mastered that music! And of course, his skating had reached a completely new level by then. Now I'm so eager to see a once again updated version!

Thank you for this! It really shows how much Yuzu has improved and matured. His steps sequence and spins are much cleaner and more powerful in 2018 even though he’s still recovering from his injury ( so no jumps) Also, like Tracy commented, in 2011 his stamina is lacking a bit at the end. But nowadays he’s way better at keeping his energy up through out the whole program! Awww I’m so proud of him!
these are sooo fun! espec since they're routines that you don't often see. what i love is that a)he wears the same outfit b)they're bloody the same, he has such impeccable timing. and muscle memory or memory memory but like. the same routine exactly 9 YEARS later?? that's amazing right??
This side by side comparison would be very helpful if I were able to take my eyes off the right part of the screen

当時の衣装が着れるんですね、16才の時です♪。脚を痛めてジャンプ出来無くても頑張ってました。幼なかった顔は大人になっても美人さんです。スケートはかなり巧くなって当時より予想以上ですね。カリスマ性も妖艶さもパワーアップしてます♪♪♪🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸
明らかに技術的に進化してますね。そして、明らかに足が伸びた。身長は3㎝位伸びたと思うけど、足は10㎝位伸びた感じ。

the audiences clapping is absolutely not right on beat especially near to the end part which is very annoying actually but he's still listening to all those small details in the piece throughout the whole program without missing anything.... GOAT thing i guess

Hi, if I may ask, what was the 2018 performance? I m quite sure it is not a championship or competition. Please enlighten me and those of us who have just started following this brilliant and gifted young man Hanyu Yuzuru's figure skating profession. Thank you.
It's called Continues With Wings, it's Yuzuru's ice show after his 2018 Olympic win 😊 He was still rehabilitating from injuries at that time that's why he wasn't doing any jumps. He performed some of his most iconic programs from when he was young, I hope you get to watch those too and even the whole ice show, it's really special!

I just feel that Hanyu has a heart of gold, despite of not in physically fit condition, still he wants to convey his gratitude to all who have supported and helped him in this non competition show case. I was ready to to see how much he has improved but 2011 version was a lot better imo.

clara emmm.. Artistically ciontu version is much better, more mature.
Because the ciontu version lacked the jumps? (Due to his recovery). Imo even without the jumps the later version was still amazing to watch: his improved self confidence, maturity to match the music, and the whole movement. It really speaks for his artistry when I forgot jumps were supposed to be there until I saw him jumping in the 2011 version next to it
How? I'm genuinely curious. I think it's very very obvious to me that his skating skills is markedly improved in CiONTU. Posture is miles better, movements sharper. Regardless he wasn't supposed to be skating (as he was undergoing rehabilitation), the quality is visibly better in CiONTU.
