When I watched this and had closed captions on to see the lyrics, I too was crying. It was a pure wave of nostalgia from when I first played Pokemon Red and Blue with my starter Charmander, and getting to play all the games since then. Despite the ups and downs that Pokemon has in general, it brings people together old and young. I feel like a kid again watching that music video and I'm so glad to see others like myself who grew up with the series get so emotional. It's a good feeling, one that never should go away.

I felt my whole childhood and so many memories. Thinking about everything that Pokémon gave me and how happy it made me and still makes me feel. It was truly beautiful to watch it for the first time and still gives me feelings.

They're designs are unique and I love that they show a lot of personality in just a few scenes. Gym Leaders & Elite Four members are grouped together by their typing specialty is great. Blue looking like cocky as ever. Love it. Champions looked amazing. Love the fact that just from the their hands, you can tell it was Alder and Iris. It was like Alder was passing the baton to Iris. Cynthia traumatizing as again with Garchomp. Perfect. Truly the best Pokémon video there is. The music is amazing too.

I like how they recreated the famous scene from Stand by Me since they also made a reference in the older games as well. Someone really likes that movie. 😁👍 (Which is also a good movie.) Also if you look at the scene from the movie and this one. They made some changes to the clothes and background(in the movie they were going up while they're walking down)
It makes sense; the song in the first part talks about the beginning, so to recall the quote of a reference right at the start of the pokemon journey, not only as a game but as a series, is the best way to start AND end the video.
