thanks i have doen this now:) how do I stop facebbok seeing my email contacts? It is not even the email I use on facebook! But i had someone new that emailed me to my yahoo yet it is gmail that I log in with! I then saw this stranger appear in my facebook saying do you want to friend her! I looked and facebook said to go to Settings & Privacy and uncheck Continuous Contacts Upload but this is not on the settings list like facebook says I would appreciate help thanks

Yes show me how to turn off the enable button in the Facebook page forever and pop up the install page instead of it. My Facebook page always shows some kind of update page on it and I don't know why

@@HelpCloud , Yes, some kind of enable button pops up everytime from the Facebook account on my mobile, and I didn't get the idea to delete my Facebook account permanently from that day onwards. BUT REMEMBER MY FACEBOOK APP IS DELATED AND NOTHING IS LEFT, BUT YES MY NETFLIX APP IS ON

What if one of your FB friends has their setting put on "friends of friends" . Can their friends see you posts?? Please anyone can chime in on this. Please help. TY
Any info you save as "Friends of Friends" will be visible to the contact list of people you are friends with currently.
For example, Facebook has a setting under your privacy "Who can look you up using the phone number you provided?"
If you save this as "Friends of Friends" then any of your friends, friends can look your profile up with your email.

This is an older video, things may have changed.
Who needs an account? According to the small print, Facebook Audience Network gathers info on operations and behaviours performed on my device, such as whether a window is in the foreground or background, my mouse movements, info on operating system, battery level, signal strength, available storage, browser type and plugins, ids from other games, ids from general apps and accounts, family device ids, device id, bluetooth signal, information about nearby wifi access points, beacons and cell towers, info on gps, camera, photos when permitted, mobile operator or isp, language, time zone, phone number, ip address, connection speed, nearby devices. I wouldn't be surprised if they go against their own rules on what they collect when it comes to facebook's own privacy settings. After all, you'll never find out ;)

@@HelpCloud I think that was a copy-paste from FB - so at least they're being honest (ish), but nevertheless, the tinfoil (even the high grade non 'supermarket value' material) is essentially useless - when they know whether it's in use or not ;(
