The biggest question i have for the Level is if it's absorbing oil at a much faster rate, wouldn't that mean you would essentially have to bake the oil out of ball much more often? I mean a ball can only absorb so much oil. So i guess that also begs the question: After how much use does the absorption rate go to that of a normal ball or even lower? It comes across like a ball that could very well be a good ball at first but then get worse the more games you bowl with it.
Short answer is Yes. My Radical Tremendous solid was a prime example of this. That cover stock was designed to absorb oil as quickly as possible. I rarely got the change to wipe oil off when it came back. Unfortunately as a side effect, when it did start showing oil, it was usually saturated. Roughly 30-40 games and it was flooded. A long bake later and it was good as new.
That sounds like one of the main core benefits to this chemical technology package. Proof will be in the pudding and sales volume is absolute. Aka, let’s see how it does! 😎
Idk how this couldn't be confused between the pitch black, lightning blackout, virtual energy blackout and physix blackout. Design is boring to me especially with so many black bowling balls under their umbrella right now
I get mixing the VEBO and PBO, but the Lighing has yellow logos, the level white, and the pitch black green. And the motions other than the VEBO and PBO are all significantly different. The VEBO is getting discontinued soon anyway
My understanding was that Storm had no full time on ground chemical engineers. B7 does. So possibly B7 forced the hands of SPI to bringing in a full time "scientist". Hence the Labs reference all of a sudden.
Great analysis, thank you! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
Seems like it’s just a lot of regurgitating the same balls over and over and then saying “it’s the best thing ever” speaking on the “Level” 200$ for the Level seems a bit much.
I am keenly interested in the Level for some no thumb fun. Curious how it will behave on carry down. I’m betting the Zen25 will look really good on the medium fresh 💪
In terms of shelve appeal, the SPI line currently has 5 all black bowling balls, not to mention the all black bowling balls from other brands (Stealth and Black Venom to name two). I don't think anyone is going to know what ball it is if you are throwing the Level 😂😂
Cool video talk tech bowling ball storm level bowling ball with Ai technology in the bowling ball more strikes and spares hitting power at times chris beans

This is a great point.
That's what I'm worried about too

So it reacts like a urethane without all the nasty carry down since it's got super high absorption?

@@BowlersRant I hope we're not going off of sales alone. SPI, like many other companies, influences ppl simply from their $$$ marketing

The new Radical No Doubt is touted as having a very similar core to the Zen. They refer to it as super symmetrical.
I guess it’s like the NU from B7 🤷🏻♂️
every storm release can’t be ‘game changing’ 😂
Change for the worse is technically game changing 😜
Seems like it’s just a lot of regurgitating the same balls over and over and then saying “it’s the best thing ever”
You mean the Zen or the Level?
Can’t be same ball if everything isn’t the same loser
[insert apple iphone ad here]
The level seems to be Storm being late to the party on NU coverstocks
Good job you’re catching on to marketing in bowling 🤩
I can say the storm level is a smooth ball really meant for dry lanes

They shoulda named HK22-C HK24
I was expecting new Ai Urethane, but turns out to be SPI version of Motiv Tank 🤔
lol

all the best equipment wont cover a skill gap. but getting a fresh pour is like a brand new pair of socks. feels good but wont make you run any faster
Snake oil
both balls are $$$$

😂😂it's more like motiv..it's mircocell and Duramax.... But with storm price tag
ehhh....
Motiv price tag is pretty big as well
@@NorCalBowler yeah even more than storm
That's basically what I'm getting from this too lol looks like a black nu blue with envy tour paint
Preach. Paid $220 for the EXJ Venom when it was released.
🔥🔥🔥🔥

Typically my commentary on this is how it looks sitting on the shelf, hence the term "shelf appeal". Logo is very visible, as are many others. ;)
Please tell me you’re back for 2025 and stay
