Just got my Zen gold label about 2 months ago. It is rather unique in my hands in that it requires a certain lane pattern or transition for it to score well. However, when conditions are right it is a banger! Somewhat surprised that it is being discontinued.
Im REALLY surprised they are already dc'ing the Xponent. It's in a pretty unique space and practically everybody liked it. Also sad to see the ZGL going, but Luke said he heard rumors of another Zen in the works. ZGL never got as much attention as it deserved. And strictly for nostalgias sake, it's sad to see the Hyroad Pearl go!
yea the hyroad pearl it does suck but the world would truly be ending if the hyroad ended up on the list. i think that ball, phaze 2 and IQ tour are the 3 balls that i dont think will ever die out
Wonder what cover they will use if they release a “the road” Pearl. If they use REX Pearl it would make the lightning blackout even more confusing of a release.
I’m going to get another piece in the next month or so, just because. I’m thinking about the Sublime. I’m a house shot guy mostly, and bowl at two houses. I already have enough choices, but… Been liking my GB4 hybrid lately, and I’m partial to shiny symmetrical ones. Since you see everything that’s new, and have extensive knowledge, what do you see recently that is a good or great option in your opinion? Thanks 🙏
im thinkin about upgrading my nuke cell to a eternity but i really like the attention star idk but it will be interesting what other asym pearls they come out with
Hoping that with the discontinuation of the XPonent solid means a new 700 series ball is coming out for Global. For me personally if it's so I'm hoping for the return of the Honeybadger.
I really loved my Eternity until the Eternity Pi was released. In my hands the Eternity Pi is more versatile and slightly stronger so now my Eternity never makes it in my 6 ball arsenal. In short, not surprised that the Eternity is discontinued.
how to the VEBO sales? i just wish that they would do a switch like they did the virtual energy blackout, it would be nice if they flipped it and also brought back the virtual gravity whiteout or something.

I've been using the Parallax Effect by Storm for a few years now, but other than 2 local bowlers who have it as well, I've never seen it used by anyone else. I guess it was a dud as far as the PBA is concerned.
so was the proton physix, like i dont see anyone using it anymore and yes i have thought about upgrading to the harsh but the prices just keep getting higher. but i dont see that ball anymore well outside of seeing a girl use it but as a spare
Every SPI ball will be done with AI wrapped core. So everything will be discontinued sooner or later to be replaced with the same thing with another $25 upcharge.

Belmo balls are so oversaturated. He should have only got a new one once every 2-3 years. But I'm sure there will be a new one in 6 months with AI wrap with the F-8 core. Then charge $215 for a mid-tier ball.
In all the telecasts that he makes, I think I have seen him throw his signature balls a few times. times. Other bowlers seem to throw his signature series balls better than he does.
I saw from Roto Grip on their USBC Approved ball list an "X-Cell" Im wondering if their going to take the Nuclear Cell core and wrap it in AI and use a strong coverstock. From the picture it looks dull so maybe it has some surface and maybe it will replace the Clone

Like the black widow series has renewed then y not the cell line. back when i bowled in the youth league and when to tournaments almost everyone had a black widow ball in some variant, but i really liked the cell line with the Cell pearl and the muntant Cell and others and that was back when i thought it was robo grip lol and it was a separate company but those 2 lines have been going on for a long time y not get the cell line revamped?
Discontinuing the Hy Road Pearl for "The Road Pearl". As history shows, any new ball introduced in the Hy Road line will usually be discontinued in a year or less. The Hy Road Pearl is one of the GREATEST BALLS EVER MADE!! This is gonna be one of Storm's biggest mistakes. Horrible decision, absolutely horrible.

Yeah good question. I don't think ReX pearl would make much sense because it would be too close. R2S pearl would be my guess.

Sublime is an excellent choice as long as your condition isn't too soupy or you have enough hand to support it.

I loved my G/O and sold a lot in my shop. Many loved the color
i like the color but the ball motion was wildly different in what I saw amongst bowlers, even with high revs.

I believe the OG Cell was a solid. I hope this is the case, because the CELL core is my fave!!!!

Depends on the successor, if there is one. The Road is angular as it is. Possibly a pearl not needed.
