His political views have always been known to the public, he’s always been vocal on political issues and he’s won many awards from places like the NAACP for his contributions to black low income community’s. Ive been one of the biggest Em fans my whole life but I’ve noticed one thing about him in his career. No matter who the president is he disses then. He dissed Bill Clinton, Hillary, Al Gore, Lawerence Tucker, George Bush etc. My point is don’t get your politics from rappers or mainstream sources, do your own research and form your own opinion based on fact not feeling.

Sasuke Uchiha I’m pretty sure he’s not actually dissing people because he’s a sellout. He’s been dissing people his whole career so I don’t see how now it’s any different, plus he dissed President Bush back then too so dissing Trump also isn’t anything new. He never performs any of his disses onstage during concerts and one of the things Eminem has never cared about is his sales. The reason why he raps is because all he ever wants is to be respected as an MC, so when people began to shit on his legacy over one bad album, he got upset.
Sasuke Uchiha his recent songs Greatest and Rap God are the only songs I know where he’s actually bragged about himself and his sales. Other than that, any other mention of his platinum sales are about how selling that much isn’t seen as a success due to his past sales. I do agree with though that his tactic has always been about controversy, but I think his disses towards the past presidents were based on his political opinions since he didn’t say anything to Obama. I also think he’s been trying to appeal to what’s popular in his songs on Revival, but for his recent album Kamikaze I think it’s more about sarcasm and making fun of these newer trap beats used today. He’s definitely not relatable anymore because of how big he’s gotten, but he still makes some personal songs every once in a while about his life like Stepping a Stone, Castle, Arose, etc. if that’s your definition of a sellout though, then I’d have to agree.

As far as I read or heard I think it's because Em probably heard some things about Trump like his racist comments, scolding NFL playing for kneeling during anthem (idk if i wrote that word correctly) when they protested against cops brutality with this move, and lots of other disgusting things Don Trump did as "President" of "Divided States of Embarrasment" as Em called US in "White America" track. I'm sure Marshall was teriffied when he heard/saw news about Capitol being ruined by Trump supporters. He previously dissed Clinton (actually mocking him for his sex scandal ft. Lewinski) and seriously tackled some VERY serious issues with Bush that could possibly even mute him for telling the truth. The way Trump acted as president is no wonder why he got dissed in couple songs of Revival. P.S.: As earlier due to lyric about Bush "seeing him rather dead" in leaked song "We as Americans", in 2017/18 Secret Service investigated Em this time for rapping about Ivanka Trump being "in his trunk somehow" in "Framed".
