Hey man how did these hold up? I've got a 00 4wd tacoma, I am looking these but i really dont want to hate them in a year. i still need 2 new UCA and probably new rear struts.
Why does every statement sound like a question? Wish I had a buddy to do all my work for me. He literally did hundreds of dollars of work for you. Better buy your bro some beer or weed for hooking you up.
Dustin Salisbury they can be hard to find in good shape depending on where you live for sure. There are a lot of rust buckets in my area, but definitely some gems as well
I am looking to buy a Cherokee xj but I'm double thinking because honestly I never looked at the 3rd gen 4runner closely with a lift but I'm liking the look. Do the engines last as as long as the 4.0 straight six?
Sorry, a bit late (school has been kicking my butt and havent uploaded or checked the page.) I prefer the 4runners because they are very reliable, arent overdone (so many jeeps on the road), and the interior quality is a million times better.
The 3.4. V6 Toyota will outlast the 4.0 straight 6 from the jeep. But with consistent oil changes and water pumps every 100k. Along with valve cover gaskets every 150k. You shouldn't have any issues for at least 300k.
I wondered about that 4.0 strate 6 on the jeep...I was almost even considering looking into one, but thr not worth it or what? Have u had experience with them???
@@israelrodriguez6986 both are good. But the Toyota is better in my opinion. The craftsmanship of the japanese made is better quality and lasts longer.

Mark Hense the lift helped a lot, but it still rubs. The tires stick out way further than most and without another 3 inches of list it’s still going to rub on mine.

I like those tires man!! do you think those 44 inc tires would fit after lifting without pounting the fender ?
