Making File Handles and Crest Rail Shaping

Spokeshaves are a very much underrated tool these days are somewhat hard to come by. It is possible to 'make one yourself' if you have the skills ( I believe kits are available). Regardless, the spokeshave is a fabulous tool to have in your arsenal.

How do you like the files? They seem to work well.

As with any new tool, they take a little getting used to with the delicate touch required. But they are definitely the right choice for shaping the small cloud lifts. I may add a few flat files as well.
