This game deserves so much more attention honestly, despite still being early access the game is honestly a masterpiece.
Ikr this game is so good
It has the foundation to blow a lot of other RTS games out of the water, we won't be seeing multiplayer any time soon but the unique gameplay loop and amazing visuals set it apart from the majority of indie RTS games (the only reason it's not more popular is it attracts a more niche audience, and most people don't know to look for cool ant games)
@@TankieBoi Yeah I agree but I also think that the game has a lot of potential for multiplayer, not just pvp but also pve maybe playing with friends but that would also require a more in depth "late game" for freeplay. I know it won't but I would love to see multiplayer.
@@thegamerjazer I hope we see it too. For now though, the focus of the game is on the single player experience and completing the awesome last tier, and maybe we'll multiplayer support in the future, which might invite a more competitive RTS crowd to dip their toes in the fun

i remember i started playing this game only a few months ago, the entire time i was thinking "termites would be so cool if they were in this game, i hope they get added one day"
imagine the look on my face when i realized there was an update announcement that said they were already planned to be added later this year

The game’s certainly come a long way. It’ll be sad seeing the final leg of the story come to pass, but it’s been really hella fun seeing all the updates and creatures that have been coming.
The Camel Spider following shadows is funny too. Lots of funny antics with them involving our guys in the Middle East.

4:03 wild guess - anaeathetist will make re-healed ants have a boost of sort, fast repsonder will either be faster or will heal ants faster to full health.

have played this game when it got lunched i cant wait for more extentions for the story and this new ant type will help as the biggest problem is having the food and numbers
I would love it if the ants got a bit more of a creative entrance to the nest than three holes. Maybe a small hill or something just to make it slightly cooler!
It could have been just one singular entrance - but we thought the 3 one was more creative than that. I guess we could add a single variant again?

@@Mr.TankGamingThe thing is most of the species in this game just make a bunch of holes in the ground. I would love some unique texturing for the nest entrance for some species. Like needles around the nest entrance in formica rufa nests

Are you going to add all the new creatures into freeplay / battle arena? Please do so because i only play freeplay :P And add the mattabees (prob spelt wrong) ants in to freeplay and battle arena too since i love the game it needs more attention.
