You are absolutely amazing! I had bought that tool for the full sized Bugout. My friend and I hadn't figured out how to use it. So we muttled our way throught the process which was frustrating! I watched your video for the mini bugout and by using the flat side of the tool with the flat side of the pivot made the process so easy and painless! I am not the most mechanical guy but was able to do it without any assistance! Keep up the great work!
Amazing tutorial, thank you!! I bought my tool from Amazon and got it in the mail and didn’t realize the fuss I was saving myself with this awesome little guy!
I completely took apart my 533 earlier today, afterwards couldn’t help thinking there should be a tool for the pivot and hopefully they are consistent in having the flat of the D facing the blade tip. I’m so glad it’s expensive, difficult and time consuming ordering stuff from the states… gonna try disassemble my 535 today.
Yep, awesome little tool. I ordered one as soon as I got the notice they were being sold. I have a mini-grip in the mail and when it gets here, already have some AWT scales on the way for it. For once I'm looking forward to taking the knife apart and doing the swap.
Yeah this tool is dope. I jumped on it soon as I saw the post on IG. Can't wait till they make one for the larger pivots, like my full size Grip and Adamas.
Hi Mike! If you ever have change your mind about taking your knives apart, we're happy to help you work through some of the challenges you might come across. Hit us up at info@flytanium.com with any questions. Happy modding!
They both have their own uses for sure. The Etsy one has 2 sizes, while the Flytanium one you can leave in while removing both sides of the scales making it easier to do the swap.
I have never taken my knives apart but thanks to Zach and Beez I am going to start doing it this is a neat little tool to make things easier on us thanks for sharing Zach
Yeah....but this has been out for years and accommodates both large and mini Benchmades! Also, its made in America; not China, and is cheaper.... ua-cam.com/video/TH78IaXg1oA/v-deo.html
Hello David! I have a few of these also. It would be a nice upgrade to make the middle of the shaft the same size as the ends of the tool to allow for scales to be placed without removing them. But understand that would take away from the dual sized goodness they offer! Been using your tool for a while now and still recommend them! Have a great weekend!

I'll order one Friday thanks for the look Zach 👍🏻✌🏻
Groovy! You’re Welcome!
You constantly amaze me how you take these knives apart, I would never attempt this, I would strip it out and wind up throwing it away.
Half the fun is practicing Mike! If you ever need help on one, let me know!

Yes indeed!
That tool is a game changer 💪💪
For sure!!
Did a couple without this. Now I refuse to do it again without one. Made life so much easier.
I’m glad you found one and tried it out! Such a useful tool!
I just used a hex key. Just found one the size of the pivot bolt and hole and worked perfect.
Great stuff Zach 👏 👍
Glad you enjoyed it Marcos!
Super cool! Great video Zach 👍
Thank you Jeremy!
Nice great tool!!
Such ease of use!
Awesome Bro !
Thank you Kevin!!
I have one on the way.
Excellent Rusty! They work so well!
Do you like this one better than the Etsy one you showed in another video? Seems like that one will work on more models.

That’s great to hear Grim!!
Does this tool also work on the Hogue Deka's??
Basket weave or shredded CF scales?
Depends on which you like best. Or are you asking which is in the video?
@@zachstuff which is in the video
Awesome
Thanks for checking it out Arnold!
Cool 😎
Thank you!
So this wouldnt work for the normal griltilian.
It will fit inside, but not snug. I use one from Rust Bucket Goods on Etsy for the Griptilian and larger pivot knives.
