8 Hours - Lawnmower Mowing Lawn - Ambient Relaxing Sounds

All audio material on this channel has been recorded and produced by its owner unless otherwise stated. I typically use a Sony HVR-Z1U with a combination of Shure KSM109 and homebuilt microphones for recording. The recordings are then edited and mixed using Adobe Audacity. Audio from older videos were recorded using said mics but recorded either onto tape, or directly into a laptop using a Pyramid PR-4800 with phantom XLR to ¼” adapters. Images are either taken with a Kodak z981 or a Samsung ST72 and edited and altered within GIMP. Any images that were not taken by myself were used by permission from Pexels.com, altered in GIMP to add any effect such as lightning, rain and titles. Any video shot was done with the HVR-Z1U or a GoPro 4.
Reminds me of when I was a kid and I would wake up Saturday morning to the sound of my dad mowing the lawn :)

This is still one of my most favorite UA-cam's .. it reminds me of when I was growing up listening to the lawnmower outside on a warm summer afternoons.
I have no idea why but my five month old falls asleep to this...

If we found a way to mush/combine this beautiful noise together with Morgan Freeman's voice, I think we would end up creating a sound file so powerful that whenever it played it would make the atmosphere smell entirely of raspberries. It would also be the key to enabling the humans (and cyborgs) to channel their inner cow powers, and activate the hidden grazing instinct found in all humanoid beings.

By all means it's a loud and piercing noise (which is obnoxious to many), counterintuitive to what one might consider relaxing - but the nostalgia of hearing it, coupled with the smell of freshly cut grass, associating it with summer, warmth, sunshine, vacation.. There's just something delightful about it.
