The atmosphere for this game was absolutely phenomenal. You really just feel like you're in what little remains of a once lively and busy city, now left to rot, along with its former residents
This game was literally a dream made into reality. I don't think any other game in this category will ever come close to the effect this had. Even hearing the slightest tune from these ambient tracks brings me right back to Harran, as if I was really there. 5:11 my heart sinks when I hear this. It just hits me with a wave of despair, reminding me of the tragedy of the outbreak in Harran. So many people.. dead or infected. While survivors of the quarantine have to go through hell everyday just to survive. And to what end? To continue to be isolated and trapped in a city with a virus that can’t be cured? To see biters roam the streets waiting for their next meal? To get jumped by bandits? Dying Light is a beautiful game that delves into the dark reality of a zombie outbreak.
Same, man. It just gives me a feeling of doom, the world is dying/dead, everything has ended and what you’re seeing is all there is left. And it’s not pretty.
5:11 has to be hands down my favourite. Might be the music or the game itself but playing Dying Light always gives me a strong sense of duty, like i'm here in charge of saving the people in Harran. The music that plays in the slums are so desolate and melancholic. Pretty fitting for a city that was completely ruined with no hope for anything to ever go back to normal. Heck if i was in harran i would feel depressed af.
It just me or anyone else feel like the slum ambience sounds kinda make you still can survive in here and patience waiting for help but in sector 0 you feel like you're alone and the survivors that still alive feel like we're hopeless. And the last one for me the countryside ambience sounds feel like you step on the ground where is full of infected but all you can do is run, you can't hide because it just full of field and you can't climb cause there's no building like the slums and sector 0.
Does anyone else find that when you listen to music from the games you love, especially from several years ago, you get a rush of memories from what you were doing at that time of your life? I bought this on release and I’d just moved into my first place with my girlfriend. I’d spend hours between playing this and GTA V while chugging cans of Rockstar.
I lived at my dad‘s house during this time period. CoD advanced warfare & Dying Light was my daily soul calmer. When I came back from school in winter and it was already dark and snowy outside.. almost forgot that time. But it was great!
The way 7:21 sounds it makes me think of the people who once lived happy lives who had their humanity taken away from them it makes me love people for how they are makes me focus on the personalities I’ve come across and appreciate them for what and how they are

3:06 By Far my fav one, fits perfect in the dusk or night
Can u tell me how i can find it seperated pls
Search Khinsider and then Dying Light, there is full list of all the music extracted from the game.
8:00 you watch the dawn comes down as you standing on top of bulding
1:00 in my opinion is the saddest and the most underrated
Yep it creates the feeling helplessness
Thanks for this. I love the ambient in DL1. DL2 has great soundtrack but these random ambient songs are missed.
All of these dying light music is giving my chills like it's calming me down thanks so much.
8:00
Sunrise. Rooftops.
Breathtaking.
It's a finaly dawn.
So many memories with Slum's ambient music tracks
2:34 that always scared the shit outta me
Same lol
14:45 and 1:00 are the most underrated and undertalked ones in here. It's almost as if people only listen to the parts mentioned in the comments
8:00 is so peaceful. I wanna hear this if I’m slowly dying in my bed when I’m old
true
7:20 these are just heavenly sounds
I like how the music kind of gives you an 80s vibe. Thanks for uploading this
Edit: 1:43 is the best one
3:06 though
Kind of a stranger things vibe
8:00 ambient 🤤
0:38 Dudeee, this thing really gives me high dose of adrenaline
GenuineNarwha37 yea,it basically tells you"they are everywere,i have to run!"
The music that plays in the slums are so desolate and melancholic. Pretty fitting for a city that was completely ruined with no hope for anything to ever go back to normal.
Heck if i was in harran i would feel depressed af.
7:21
It just me or anyone else feel like the slum ambience sounds kinda make you still can survive in here and patience waiting for help but in sector 0 you feel like you're alone and the survivors that still alive feel like we're hopeless. And the last one for me the countryside ambience sounds feel like you step on the ground where is full of infected but all you can do is run, you can't hide because it just full of field and you can't climb cause there's no building like the slums and sector 0.
This is like something feom the 80s and composore said that is all i need.
7th one deserves a full song, got it for the first time (that i noticed) a few hours ago. it was perfect
7 slums is my favourite, I wish there was a full version so I can play it in the background
This just gave me the hype to do quarantine zones at night
What a game - loved the experience.
I will never unhear the music when you first load into the game and spawn in the tower 😢 the feels man
This is the most creepy Ambient music I've heard second to Cry of Fear
The way 7:21 sounds it makes me think of the people who once lived happy lives who had their humanity taken away from them it makes me love people for how they are makes me focus on the personalities I’ve come across and appreciate them for what and how they are
they really perfected the music in this game it just fits the world so good I love it
Thank you so much for uploading these! I had searched for them some time ago but didn't find anything. I just found your video by "chance" and forgot how much I wanted these little pieces of music!
I will never forget number 6
This is a perfect example of creator’s professionalism
