HELP A FAVOR, MONEY ISSUES!! I need the door opened on my 2005 Acura MDX to get the key code which I just bought. The challenge; the car battery is dead & key remote + key is missing, NO ELECTRIC whatsoever & I'm unable to open anything + the hood. Does the VIN # bring the key code record for my car? Could be several reasons. Might have to have the dealer check it. It might need reprogramed.

I went thru an independent company to replace my fob approximately 5 weeks ago on my 2015 TLX to the tune of $250. 4 days ago the car told me to replace the battery in the fob which I did. It told me an hour ago that I needed to replace the battery again. Not happy. Will be calling that place first thing in the morning.

Hmm. Sounds like you were given the wrong key with the correct remote when you got the car? ou can get one cut at any Acura dealership. Bset to do it before you need it. Thank you!

Actually starting the vehicle might be prudent. Actually seeing the key being removed as well.
Switch careers or get a cameraman and a tripod.

Not every ‘pro’ is a good teacher. Some ppl (audiences), are more visual oriented while others are more attuned to verbal discriptions. In person it’s not that difficult to determine who you’re communicating with. Anonymously, show and tell is the ticket! Showing with a steady hand. (Some of us get seizures from rapid and/or unfocused image movements).
